Well honestly, the first few chapters are not grabbing the attention of the readers. Your way of words are pretty decent but it doesn't mean that it was a bad thing, you still have room for improving.

I was hooked with the mermaid part but I'm also confused and then I read the part where the author, he did it purposefully so that we, readers could be hooked and like to know in few chapters and yes, I read and I like the rap the author made. : ))) this book is great.
