12 Chapter 10 (Underground Tunnel)

I get inside an underground tunnel, that was made by me for this very purpose. It is very wide from the inside if compared to a normally hidden tunnel for humans. But, it is not so high for a normal adult to walk without getting hit by the strong roots of trees and some rocks above their head. The reason is very simple, it is not made for humans... It's made for the strong warriors of Werewolves.

I have to turn left and then two times' to the right to reach their position, but I took the short-cut and passed straight through the earth to reach them. The diversion was due to a huge tree's root blocking the way and this type of trees were in many random positions, so it cost me quite a lot of mana to make this huge network of underground tunnels. The burden was really very big and it took me six months to finish them. The task was difficult because I had to take account of every possibility from where the enemy can notice us, that includes the Spies' I had to bring with me. The tunnel is stretched from Inner Fortress to every direction in the radius of one kilometre. The tunnel is supposed to be able to accommodate the march of two-third of werewolves residing in the Fortress. So, when the enemy reaches inside the 'Red' zone, we will attack them from behind. The attack will be from every direction completely encircling them to the brink of no escape. That means complete annihilation of the Amzi's Troops.

That was the plan back then, until one months ago I found a piece of crucial information that the Prince of 'Daemon land' is going to watch this battle personally. I informed this to my Captain 'Seren' and she changed the plan right away with the same tactics' but with a different approach. The new plan is basically the same, but this time the main Target is not Amzi and his Troops. Our mission is to capture the Prince... but this plan is a lot more easier for everyone. As no one have to fight directly with the huge amount of cavalry, we just have to eliminate some magi' and reserved Troops' in the protection of the Prince.

But, I'm not satisfied with it until now. Not because the new plan looks unreliable, it is actually very good and effective compared to the previous one as we can win without much fatalities on our side. The problem was the change of plan itself because I spent my mana of nearly six months' to build the underground tunnel in every fucking direction and at last we are just going to use the tunnel of the North direction only. 'what the fuck? I spent my precious mana for nothing... I could have saved them in my 'Mana Crystals'.' I am really pissed with this king, was it so necessary to change the things' in such a crucial battle.

I appeared from the wall, I saw the werewolf warriors' grouped in six-line with each of them facing the centre to where I also appeared. The Underground tunnel is three metres' wide and one metre eighty centimetres in hight, though height is slightly small for both human and werewolf warriors'... In the centre, there is standing a Beautiful yet Fierce 'Female Warrior'. She is the commander of the werewolves and thus Second in command after Captain 'Seren'. She is also a personal bodyguard of Captain Seren, her name is 'Tracy'. Like her name, she is a very brave and skilled warrior. Though I think I can spar with her in equal, she is also my senior and I can't possibly lay a hand on her.

They are not standing like a wolf, they are standing like a normal human being while slightly bending forward to accommodate themselves in the narrow ceiling. The Underground tunnel is Ten metres' deep under the surface of the land, which makes it nearly impossible to notice by even a Senior Magus. So it can be said that the things are going pretty normal as expected, as even if the Senior Magus protecting the Prince is using his perception to identify any possible danger, he can't find us. As no one would think a Werewolf can attack them from beneath the ground, they will not scan it much especially if their 'Primary Elemental Magic' is not the same.

"You finally managed to reach here!" She asked me.

"Aye, commander~" *embarrassingly* I replied while slightly bowing, though I was already bowing because of the height. I don't know why captain wanted to make this tunnel exactly one metre and eighty centimetres Tall, even though the average size of our warriors' is two metres. There is no problem for the commander to stand in the Tunnel because she is around five feet and eight-inch long, which is slightly small then the height of the tunnel.

"Took you long... was that so hard to subdue your own subordinates?" She is pulling my leg. Well, before we were planning how to execute the mission? I actually told her that "Don't worry..., I can subdue them in no time. They are just some weak asses and I'm their Captain..." *Big Talk* for her question of executing the mission without getting find out before the time. That's what I told her and not the details how? which is of course by killing them... But, now I didn't do either of them, I failed the task because of that 'Guy'. Now, what should I say? A Guy fooled me and fly away~? That would be very embracing..., and here I was just thinking that my strength is compared to her. "Aargh..." *Pondering*

"Aa~ umm... of course, I subdued them easily! *Acting truthfully* It just that they were scattered in different places, that I had to take a long time in finding them before I could Subdue them under my clutches!" *Haughty expression* I had to lie..., and so boldly? I'm feeling really awkward, so they all are... My acting is poorer than that 'Guy'.

I see *Mocking* Whatever! it doesn't matter now..., after all,~ *Turning to mass audience/werewolves* We are ultimately gathered here to execute the 'Master Plan'." *Solemn expression* I said after listening to him. I had to ignore him, he is just making lame excuses' for his mistakes. I don't like these things', especially at the time of War. I had to hurry up and come here with my Warriors' as soon as Seren arrived inside the Fortress. She had planned this long ago and just as she planned these morons fall in our trap. It would be laughable to see their reaction after knowing a Teenager outsmarted their whole Cavalry Troop.

We have a hundred warriors' now inside this Underground Tunnel including me and Hugo and our enemies' are relatively less in number. Why?... because we have to deal with only around sixty-six Troops of the enemy. The first and second unit of Swordsman and Spearman are very far away. They are standing right in front of our Fortress, exhausted and ready to break inside. But they are not aware that we have a surprise for them... The fourth unit is already exhausted and resting far back from us due to their mindless arrow shooting inside our Fortress, which was just futile. The Logistics of that group are useless in the frontline and are frail. So I had to send a separate group of only forty warriors to deal with them, which is more than enough.

If we evaluate carefully, there are sixty reserved Troops' and five magi's with a Senior Magus protecting the prince from every direction... and we have ninety-two normal warriors', six of the fifty Elite Warrior's that Seren had specially requested from her father, a Geomancer that is Hugo and me as their Commander. We are well prepared, everyone knows what they have to do and how to do? What left now is nothing..., they are just waiting for my command. Our 'Target' is right above my head, unaware of our presence... The most important task is assigned to Hugo, his task is to capture the Prince amidst the chaos that we will cause to distract their attention. This is the only reason why I was waiting for him..., "ugh! Why is this human creature is a part of the Team? if not for Seren, I would have kicked him out.". *Thoughts* I don't like lazy bums...
