"Clop... clop~ clip... clop... clop~" *sound of galloping hooves*

A mass of cavalrymen is running through the thick wood. They seem not running straight, but just circling around the dense Valley.

It is still very early in the morning, the moon and stars are still out there and the sun is not going to come out anytime soon, but it is also a very good time for an ambush. No enemy would be prepared for a war at this time, as it is such an unexpected time for an attack and they would most likely be sleeping.

Their enemy is not an ordinary human being, they are the species of savage werewolf. Well, it is how they define them. But the fact is that both of them hate each other and curse each other in the worst way.

Their enmity is not a recent thing but has been going on for ages. The human kingdoms are on a continuous winning streak for the past two years and they were very successful in eliminating several of their enemies' outposts.

But this one is their most crucial and largest Outpost, it should be destroyed no matter what. Their enemy had made a stronghold in the center of the woodland from Long ago and it is actually in the high ground. The mountains and the forest are the best covers for Attack and Defence. But this time it is not the same. They are very confident about this war, they have already collected information of every possible escape of their enemy.

The Cavalry is also in an advantageous situation as they are going to attack their enemy from high ground, the reason why they didn't go straight to the fortes of their enemy.

There is a mountain in the north of the enemies' base which comparatively has a more dense forest and is also very high from their base.

So in order to avoid casualties and give their enemy a surprise attack, instead of fighting from the south, they are making a long detour to the North. By doing this they are actually trying to block the enemies' escape route and reinforcement.

They are traveling in a group of twenty with each leader riding in front of everyone. It is necessary because a huge troop can't swarm through a dense forest, especially if the landscape is a mountain.

They are traveling in twenty groups of twenty cavalry soldiers each. There is also a group of troops, who have already been stationed in the way long ago, it is a long-planned attack.

They are actually spies who have been camping here to look for the enemy's movement, and they are the ones who sent this crucial detail about the time of attack when their enemy is least cautious.

The troops are divided into four major units, the First unit riding ahead of the others are the main troops armed with heavy Armour and Sword, they are made of seven Teams. The Second unit consists of Spear throwers and is relatively less in force, they are made of about five teams. But the cavalry of the Third unit is almost useless in this attack.

They are not even looking like a troop going for war, rather, they are stationed to protect a young boy watching a live battle between their most troublesome enemies.

The unit is consists of three groups of the swordsman, an inner group of mages that are looking like the main group of guardians. There is also an elder mage traveling right beside him, he is telling him about the battle strategy they are utilizing.

The boy is heavily armored and by the looks of his body size, it seems he is only a teenager around twelve years old. His face couldn't be seen as it is completely covered by his helmet. The security around him is tight because it is his first time participating, or just watching a real war in such close proximity.

His father is the king of a human kingdom and the troop is partially in his command. He is sent by his father to watch this crucial battle with his own eyes to learn about the strategy of war and train him for the bloody scene he has to face in the near future.

It is necessary for a warrior prince to train his mind to fight in a real scenario. It is also necessary to train your heart to be able to endure blood and gore, if not you might cower in the face of danger.

This time the task of the troop is well planned and secure, it is the reason why his father chooses this exact opportunity to teach him about the war and assigned an elder mage to teach and protect him. Even then he is a kind of a burden for the troop because one-fourth of the troop is only engaging in protecting him instead of fighting, also he is kind of slowing their march.

The Fourth and last unit is made of Marksman and Logistics. The two groups are solely made of Elite Marksman and the last two groups are responsible for organizing, planning, and preparing for the fight and the necessary weapons and food for Cavalry. By their preparation, it looks like they are planning on full annihilation of their enemy, without any mercy.

Apart from the rest of the Troops, there is a man ahead of everyone, his figure couldn't be seen as he is moving too fast.

He is dodging and cutting the branches in his way very smoothly, though he is not making any loud noise in his way, as his swordsmanship and the quality of horse is best among the cavalry. The troop is almost approaching the base of the enemy, the spirit of Cavalry is very high, ready to slaughter the enemies on a single command.

"Halt!" A burly man wearing very light armor who was riding the horse in front of everyone shouted. His facial feature is very scary, as they have marks of stitches on both sides. There are two deep cuts in his right eye and a cut in his left cheek, which seems like it was caused by a recent fight.

He is the person who was running ahead of everyone, everyone behind him stopped at his command after taking their respective positions. It seems like he is the leader of the Cavalry.

The other soldiers behind him are wearing very heavy armour unlike him. They are not skinny and are looking just as strong as him, but it seems like the man is not afraid of anything.
