3 chapter two: settling back home

Dad had just gone upstairs when Neill looked at me and smiled,

"so last one to dads freezer is an empty blood bank?", Neill looked at me and glanced slightly in the direction of dads office ,

"well then I suggest you get a move on then bro ", I said while smirking at him as we both made a run for dads office ,

"no fair man ,you used your vampire speed ", Neill said while trying to look upset ,

"hey you didn't make the rules man, there for I won fair and square ",I stuck out my tongue at him ,

he smiled as he walked over to the freezer and tossed me a blood bag ,

"it smells weird in here so you have the first taste ", Neill said while covering his nose with his free hand,

" that's just because you don't like blood ,why are you a vampire again?", I chuckled as I raised an eye brow at him ,

"to impress the ladies with my god like strength duh", he said as he took a muscular pose ,

I laughed ," is that what you think you have ? ", I questioned him ,

" you might be the elder vampire of our clan but I'm somewhat strong ", we eyed each other as we both erupted in a fit of laughter ,

" okay okay shhh your gonna wake dad and Jessica ",I said while trying to calm down ,

"well look who's coming around ", Neill raised an eyebrow at me ,

"maybe ,just maybe, we need to go to bed it's getting early and I want to check out the surprise dad left for us ", I composed myself as I walked towards the door ,

" oh damn I forgot about that ", Neill said as he closed the door to dad's office ,

"we have to finish the blood bags before bed because it'll taste really bad tomorrow ", Neill said as he began finishing his bag with a nasty look on his face that made me almost chock on my bag for two reasons ,

" see what happens when you don't mind your own business ", Neill raised an eyebrow at me ,

" one this blood tastes weird and two your business is my business man we're siblings ", I said as I tapped my temple, I throw my blood bag in the trash ,

"yeah I keep forgetting about that ,how do you block people out ? ,I want to learn that ", Neill asked me with a serious look,

I shrugged ," I don't know I think it just comes with being the elder ,good morning Neill", okay so i lied but for a good reason Neill doesn't tell me what's bothering him so I use it to check up on him , it's wrong I know but hey his my brother and I love him and I'd also like to make sure his okay ,

I walked to my old room ,when I got to my room I heard Neill laugh and say ,"yeah good morning to you to Jen",

I closed my door and chuckled at how long it took him to realize my joke

I looked around ,"well at least dad got me a big girl bed ", I giggled and sat down on the edge of my bed ,looking around I noticed how not much has changed ,only big difference is the bed with a solid base and a light switch on my night stand ,

I farrowed my eyebrows as I reached out to press it ,I jumped when my bed began to move ,when I landed on the floor I looked at the bed where the mattress had risen up ,

I took a look inside and realized it was a bed that converted into a coffin like item ,i stepped inside ,lying down I noticed three switch's one marked room light ,second one coffin light and the third one marked coffin hatch ,

I turned the coffin lights on then I turned off my room lights ,there was a slight shade of blue illuminating from the inner corner's of the coffin just enough to see ,I flicked the switch to close the coffin I got comfy as it started to close



something to that degree I was giving an example here

At 07:30 pm I woke up to a buzzing sound I got a fright and sat up quick ,I groaned soon after realizing the bed/coffin was closed ,rubbing the bump on my head ,I looked at where the switch's where noticing a neon clock,noting the time I flipped the switch to open the coffin ,

I stepped out of the coffin stretching out I fixed my hair as best as I could not being able to see myself in the mirror sucks ,I looked around the room noticing my bags ,

"huh Neill must have brought them up when he woke up ", I looked through my bag for a change of clothes I made my way to the shower

,I ignored the talking coming from down stairs ,closing the door behind me I began to undress ,turning the shower on and finding the right tempreture ,

I slide under the warm water curtain feeling the water woke me up a bit better ,as I began washing my hair there was a knock at the door that made me get shampoo in my eye's and it stung

"I'm taking a shower ,what do you want " I snapped at the person on the other side of the door ,

"hurry up Jen your brother has good news ", just as my dad finished Specking I heard Neill say ,"dad what are you doing ,Jen will never be happy about this",

the two walked away ,I raised an eyebrow "I won't be happy about what" I thought ,I turned the water off leaping out of the shower I began to dry off

After my shower I walked down stairs holding the rail's of the stair I looked at everyone as I made my way down

"so what's the surprise? ", I asked rising an eyebrow ,

"your brother found love ",my dad spoke ,

I rubbed the side of my face with my left hand ,"we haven't even been back two days how could you have fallen in love?", I asked ,

" i didn't fall in love, I met a girl at the grocery store we talked for a while because of the shirt I was wearing I looked like I worked at the store and she wanted help ,I helped her then she was like 'thanks your a hard worker aren't ya ' as a joke then I told her I didn't work there ,we laughed and talked some more and ended up exchanging numbers, so dad thinks we're now in love ",Neill said with a slight laugh

"as long as she's not a werewolf then its fine ", I spoke

'She's not, she did how ever smell like a really cute puppy' Neil's thought caught my attention, I eyed him ,he looked at me then dropped his head ,

"so much is happening, I'm going for a walk ", I said as i put on my sleeveless black leather jacket

Feeling the cool breeze on my face and arms was the most amazing feeling I could describe ,it wasn't to cold and it wasn't worm it was just chilly and so lovely ,

I got lost in thought so much so I didn't notice the light was red for pedestrians half way across I came face to face with the brightest lights I've ever seen
