12 Twelve

It had been a few days since Christa moved in with Bella, whom had been insistent on cuddles and lack of privacy. Christa tried to act angry about it, but whenever she did, her embarrassment got the better of her, and she had to either retreat or accept Bella's affections. She was sitting in the living room, scrolling on her phone when Bella walked in, "Heyyy!" Said Bella, smiling.

"What're you planning?" Christa asked suspiciously, putting down her phone, "When ever you walk in like that there's a catch..."

Bella sat next to her on the couch and pulled Christa towards her chest, "You know me so well." Said Bella as Christa squirmed a little under her grasp, "But I actually have something important to discuss, this time."

Christa stopped moving for a second to listen and Bella pat her head, "Spit it out already!"

"Well, tonight there's actually a dinner that we're gonna have to attend together." she paused, seemingly waiting for something.

"Okay, and?" Said Christa, "Is that it?"

"Nothing else?" Asked Bella disappointedly, "Not even a little blush?"

"Why would I be embarrassed about that? I signed up for this." Christa continued to scroll on her phone while Bella pulled her in closer.

"Well I thought you would be, considering that this is pretty much a date." Bella whispered in her ear.

"Well technically not, it's not like we're going to do anything." She said, trying to keep cool, "And stop doing that, you're already hugging me don't make it weirder." This time her face revealed her emotions.

"How can you be so sure that I won't kiss you for publicity?" She tried whispering again to get a reaction. Christa continued to scroll, "Oh c'mon! I'm trying my best to make you say something cute, but you're being stone cold today!"

Christa flinched at the word, 'cute', and hoped that Bella didn't pick up on it, "Well, maybe I've just gotten used to THIS over the past few days." Christa said in a monotone voice, gesturing to Bella holding her.

"So you like it then?" Asked Bella hopefully, "You could always just ask me an-"

"I did not say I liked it!" Christa cut her off, trying to avoid making eye contact.

"Well you sure seem comfortable at this point." Christa then realized that Bella wasn't even holding her anymore, and she had been laying on her on her own accord. She turned red and pushed herself off to the other side of the couch, "Ugh! I shouldn't have said anything! I knew it was too good to last. You? Liking my attention? Never!" She grinned, looking at an embarrassed Christa, clearly pleased with her performance. "Well, back to the dinner," began Bella, "I ordered a dress for you, since there's a dress code."

"And how did you get my measurements, may I ask?" Christa squinted at Bella.

"A magician never reveals her secrets..." Whispered Bella mysteriously.

"You took them while I was sleeping didn't you?"

"Yeah, I sure did." Admitted Bella, not feeling an ounce of regret, "Well anyways, it'll arrive later today, so be ready!"

"Yeah sure!" Said Christa, turning red as she thought about what else Bella could've done while she was asleep.
