10 Ten

Christa woke up to sun rays peeking past the curtains. Her eyelids were heavy, but she could feel something warm on her back. She tried to turn her head to look, but something was resting on her neck as well. She felt around with her hands to try and find out what it was, and discovered that someone else's head was poking over her shoulder. Suddenly she was wide awake. She remembered that she had slept in Bella's room last night, but she didn't know how she ended up being spooned! She tried to move away, but Bella's arms were wrapped around her waist as well. As Christa tried to lift Bella's arms, and slide out of the bed, she felt a cold breath of air on her neck, "Good morning..." came Bella's voice groggily.

"Oh thank god you're awake," Christa whispered, now pink in embarrassment, "you have to get off me!"

"But whyyyy?" Bella pouted, "You're so warm." She wrapped her arms tighter.

Christa stuttered, "S-stop it! You're making me uncomfortable!"

"Hmmm...?" Began Bella inquisitively, "Why would I, another girl, make you so uncomfortable with just a bit of cuddling?" She tried to peek over Christa's shoulder.

Christa turned bright red and tried to hide her face in the pillow. She herself didn't know why she was feeling so weird about this, they were just cuddling, there was nothing lewd about it, and they were both girls, nothing could happen, right?

"By chance, are you interested in other women?" Bella asked playfully, twirling some of Christa's dark hair in her fingers.

"Mph- no!" Came a muffled response from Christa, who still had her face buried in her pillow.

"Are you sure about that? Why won't you look at me?" Christa thought Bella would finally leave her alone, when she suddenly kissed the back of her ear. Christa whipped her head around to see Bella grinning.

She smiled wider when she noticed how red Christa had turned, "I guess I have my answer then!" She went back into her original position as Christa sighed. She had a feeling that this was going to be a long year.
