5 Five
Christa woke up with a throbbing headache. She checked the time really quickly on her phone: 12:05 PM. She desperately wanted to sleep in more, but she knew she had her meeting with Bella. She got up and changed into her favorite pair of ripped jeans and a t-shirt with one of her favorite artists, 'girl in bed'. She headed over to her kitchen and popped some bread in the toaster before seeing a pink note on the counter:
Hey sweetie,
Me and the girls are out for a spa day!!! I will probably be back at around six or so, so don't do anything stupid while I'm gone! I love you! XOXOXOxoxoxoXOXOXOXxxooXX

Christa rolled her eyes. Her mother could have just texted her instead of writing everything out. She looked closer at the note and noticed that all the i's were dotted with hearts. Christa then realized that the only reason that her mom had hand written the note was to add hearts everywhere. She sighed and began to make some coffee. She was pouring in the milk when she got a notification. She checked her phone to see that it was from Jaiden:

Christa chuckled and replied:
Lol wut
After a moment of waiting, Jaiden asked:
Sup, wanna Face Call?
Christa thought for a moment before responding:
Do u have my Mom's $10?
Jaiden didn't answer. Christa tried to call him, but he didn't pick up, so she texted him again:
Are u seriously doing this right now?
Meh whatever, I have plans anyways.
She laughed and finished up making her coffee when the toast finally popped up. She spread some strawberry jam on the bread before quickly eating it. After chugging her coffee, Christa texted Bella what she was wearing so that she would be able to recognize her when she arrived. Bella responded within a few minutes:
Sounds good! See ya there!
Christa smiled. She was so happy that she might finally be able to live on her own. She cleaned her mug and practically skipped over to her bedroom to make her bed and get herself ready. She was planning on leaving at around 1:45 PM, because town square was a little ways away, which meant that she had plenty of time to get everything she needed to do out of the way and have some free time afterwards.
Once she finished getting ready, Christa sat on her bed and listened to some music while she scrolled through Snapthat for half an hour.
She checked the time. It was already 1:40, so Christa grabbed her things and headed to her car. On her way over, she passed by 'I Don't Give a Frappe', and everything from the previous day came back to her.
Christa remembered everything, Shay's hot breath, the way she pushed her up against the wall, but most of all, how much fun Shay was having. Shay's expression was burnt into her memory. The way she smiled when Christa struggled sent shivers down her spine. A single tear escaped the confines of Christa's eyes as she desperately wished for an escape. She wanted somewhere safe, that could take her away from the hell she was living.
She wouldn't realize it then, but she would find one, smiling in town square, waiting for her to arrive.
