11 Eleven

Christa was sitting at the table, eating some toast, in the small dining room when Bella walked in, "Hey." Christa glared daggers at her, "Aww don't look at me that way," Bella pouted, "it's fine that you like girls!"

Christa tried to hide her embarrassment and keep glaring, "I do not! I just got startled when you KISSED me, that's all!"

Bella grinned playfully, "Okay, whatever you say." She shrugged and grabbed a piece of Christa's toast.

"Hey!" Christa tried to get her breakfast back, but to no avail. Bella had already shoved most of it in her mouth, "Meh, whatever. I didn't want it anyways." Grumbled Christa.

"Ya know what?" Said Bella, still smiling.

"What?" Answered an annoyed Christa.

"You're really cute when you're trying to be angry." Christa choked on her drink.

"You *cough* better just stop *cough* saying such weird things," she paused to cough a little more.

"There, there, get it all out." Said Bella, rubbing Christa's back. Christa swatted her hand away and continued.

"We're not actually a couple, so it's awkward." She finished speaking.

"Well, we're supposed to act like one," she began, "might as well start practicing." She smiled softly.

"W-well I guess you have a point." Christa stuttered, turning redder by the second, "But holding me captive in bed, and toast theft are not things couples do." Christa barely knew what she was talking about, she knew this. She had never even been in a relationship, so she hadn't the slightest clue as to what couples did.

Bella giggled, "You've never dated someone before, have you?" She looked down at Christa, still smiling.

Christa turned pink, knowing she had been found out, "Pshh- what? I've dated so many people, I've lost count at this point!" Bella looked at her teasingly, "Fine, I haven't..."

"Aha! I knew it!" Announced Bella triumphantly, "That means I'm gonna have to teach you everything I know, so we act like a couple in public of course!" She smiled even wider.

Christa was worried as to what that meant, she really didn't want to do anything she would regret, "Hey, when you say it like that, it makes it sound like we're going to have to do something really weird."

"Like what, kiss?" Asked Bella, clearly looking for a reaction from Christa.

Christa rolled her eyes and tried to make herself look serious, "I mean we might have to practice so that we can do it on cue." She closed her eyes and crossed her arms in victory. She was glad that she hadn't given her emotions away.

"I guess you're right." Bell sighed, although Christa could hear the smile in her voice. Then without warning, Bella planted a kiss on her cheek. Christa opened her eyes in shock and backed up, her face lighting up right away.

"W-what the heck?!? Who said you could just go around doing that?!?" She wiped her cheek and stared at Bella, who was clearly having a lot of fun teasing her.

"Actually, you told me I could practice, so that's what I did." She tried to look innocent and faked a pout.

Christa, still burning up, turned around and announced, "I'm going to the bathroom! You better not follow me!"

"Okay!" Came Bella's voice from the table. Christa made sure to lock the bathroom door behind her, because she knew that Bella was probably sliding into the bedroom, following her.
