12 Camping

After we headed off from Gokus place we headed off towards the west.

"How far away is this next Dragon Ball?" I ask while looking at Bulmas Dragon Ball finder.

"It says it's around 750 miles to the west which is where we're heading towards right now." She says after turning it on and pointing at the one we're heading towards.

"Hmm… will probably have to make camp later, I doubt will get that far in only an Afternoon." I say as I look up at the sun starting to head towards the horizon.

"Hmmm I guess your right, will have to find a place to camp soon, for now let's keep going." She says agreeing to what I said.

A few hours later as the sun was setting it was getting close to to dinner time.

"Bulma, Ryuu, I'm getting hungry…. Can you guys go let me hunt some lizards or snakes to snack on?" Goku says patting his belly.

"Eww! Gross Goku! You can't go eating those things!" Bulma says clearly getting grossed out at the thought of eating snakes and lizards.

"Well it's normal in some cultures to eat those, but only if there prepared right, otherwise they usually don't taste that good Goku." I say explaining why Bulma and even me wouldn't like to eat those either.

"Ahhh man, but im getting hungry…" he says grabbing his stomach.

"When we set up camp you can go off with Chulainn, he's a great hunter after all." I say trying to placate him for the time being.

"Oh okay! That sounds like fun!" Goku says getting excited to go hunting with someone else.

"Well I guess we can set up for camp now, plus there's a good spot to set up at right up ahead." She says as she sees an open field nearby for us to set up at where she pulls off the road to park at.

"Alright stand back you guys, I'll set up camp." She says after she pulls out a box full of capsules before pulling out the biggest one and tossing it and with a poof of smoke a small house is made just for us.

But it scares Goku a bit as both me and Bulma head inside it, so he pulls out his staff in defense.

"Be careful Bulma, Ryuu! This monster is gonna eat you!"

"Goku…. This is a portable house not a monster…." Bulma says holding her head as she goes inside and turns on the lights.

"Whoa…. It's getting dark out but it's still bright in here…" Goku says surprised that there's lights in here.

"It's called electricity Goku, it's what lights things up in houses at night." Bulma says explaining the concept of electricity.

"Umu, technology surely has gotten more advanced since my time." Nero says enjoying the feeling and the sights of this house.

"Same, these cars and other things are better than what we had in my time." Chulainn says looking around as well.

"Oh Chulainn! You want to go hunting for food?"

"Heh, sure little guy, how about we see who can hunt the biggest animal out there!" Chulainn says getting excited about the hunt.

"Your on! Let's go then!" Goku says as they both race outside and go hunting leaving me, Bulma and Nero alone.

"I'm gonna check around the area, see if there's any beasts nearby or anything else, Umu, I'll return soon Ryuu." She says with a smile as she winks at me before leaving just me and Bulma to ourselves.

I could see Bulma blushing a bit realizing she was left alone with me while I just scratched the side of my face at the situation.

"Well…. Can I ask you something Ryuu?" She says as we both go inside and sit at the table while she has the tv play in the background for background noise.

"Sure, what do you want to ask?"

"Well… where exactly did you come from, and why do you know so much about things like Goku being a Saiyan and all that?"

"…. I can't talk about it now…. Because I doubt you'd believe me if I told you right now since we just met today anyway…." I say dodging the subject, after all she probably won't believe me when I said I came from a different universe after all.

"But you will tell me later right?" She says moving her finger in circles on the table.

"Yes I will… but let's get to know each other better, so who is Bulma, what can you tell me about yourself?" It has been years since watching anything of the Dragon Ball series so I've forgotten somethings about the characters in this world, though I do remember a certain desert bandit they meet in the not so distant future and I have no intention of meeting him because in all honesty I find him both annoying and useless in the later series after all.

"Well I like strawberries and taking nice long bubble baths and well…. Being around hot guys…." She says with a blush as she pushes her fingers together while looking up at me.

"Oh…. Well I-" but then I get cut off with Both Chulainn and Goku coming back.

*oh thank god* I sigh with relief at them coming back but Bulma was obviously not happy with them coming back.

"Hmph! Couldn't you guys come back later!"

"What do you mean brat?! We caught ourselves a huge boar for dinner, come check it out." Chulainn says getting irritated with her before going back out.

"I caught a bear! But Chulainns Boar is actually bigger…." Goku said happily before getting sad that Chulainn beat him at getting something bigger than him.

We both go outside where we see the bear and the huge boar laying dead in front of the cabin.

"Well we have enough food for awhile….. but where are we gonna keep all of it that we don't eat?" Bulma says questioning the feasibility of taking all this stuff.

"Don't worry I have a way of carrying this stuff no problem." I say not worrying about it, the system like any good system came with an inventory, it was small at first but double in size with every level up so it's easily large enough to hold the animals and then some.

"Well alright I guess, let's cut these up and cook them up to eat…. Although is bear edible?" Bulma says looking at the bear.

"It tastes similar to venison you get from deer, Cmon let's eat." I say as I pull it inside and begin working on dinner.

Later

"Thanks for the food!" x4

"UmU!" Nero said with a nod enjoying the meal as well.

After we were all finished I waved my hand and made it all disappear, they didn't freak out because I explained to them earlier while making the meal.

"Goku you should go clean yourself up in the bathroom." I say seeing him and his clothes being all dirty.

"Okay!" He said before going over to the bathroom to take a bath.

"I'll go help him out, he might not know how to turn things on." I say as I head into the bathroom to help out Goku with taking a bath.

After a bit of a mess I was able to help clean him up, but then remembering me having the clothing creation ability I thought up a new set of clothes similar to his orange combat gi that he would wear when he's older, it just didn't have the turtle hermit symbol on its back.

"Alright you can use the bath now Bulma." I say leading Goku to his futon which he plops down on and instantly falls asleep.

"Oh okay….. Say-"

"No Bulma I'm not gonna join you in the bath."

"I wasn't gonna say that!" She says with a big blush on her face.

"But you thought about it, if we get together and get married I'll think about it." I said with a cheeky smirk.

"Stupid Ryuu….." she says quietly but still has a heavy blush before taking a bath.

I just shake my head before taking my place on the couch and making myself a nice comfy blanket from my item creation skill before going to sleep.

We still have a long way to go, and we still have to find that old pervert to get another one of Dragon Balls, luckily in the morning will have an opportunity to meet him when we meet a lost friend of his.

Next time on Dragon Ball: The gang will be meeting the great Turtle Hermit Master Roshi, Will Ryuu be able to convince Master Roshi to hand off his Dragon Ball? Tune in for the Next Exciting episode of Dragon Ball!
