Two events ski across the curves and twists of her mind at the current moment: I should be home sleeping, curled up in my bed, maybe dreaming; it’s raining harder now. Both thoughts pass quickly, though. A vision of Sharon Shaw enlightens her temples. The woman is a keeperin Banter’s opinion. The words and phrases to detail her are quite limitless. Sharon is very much like Lolita Key in the mysteries Banter develops. Key’s a woman that Banter could find herself marrying, and probably already has in her mind. Unfortunately, though, Key is bogus, just a character on paper. Nothingness. Unreal. The real deal is Sharon Shaw. Banter’s match. Someone she could fall in love with in such a short period of time. Someone she could settle down with and live a happy ever after kind of life, just like the end of a good read.
