Chapter 1CHAOS AT THE END OF THE YEAR

At the end of 8320, the beach atmosphere on the outskirts of the city looked very crowded. There, on the shore, children were running here and there. While adults enjoy their mornings by sipping young coconut water while occasionally throwing laughter here and there.

Their laughter matched the waves that continued to play at the same speed. Even unmitigated, some of them compete with the sound produced from guitar strumming. They sing together enjoying their day off. There was not a single person who was not happy, everyone who was there really liked the beautiful scenery that spread out.

But suddenly, "Watch out!! Hurry away from the shore, big whales are coming to land!!" shouted one of the men who was swimming towards land.

The atmosphere there became out of control. They all ran to save themselves. They don't care whether the news is genuine or not, but the important thing is that they want to leave immediately so that they can be saved from the calamity that will befall them.

"Big whale? Big whale to land?!"

Roderick furrowed his brows in disbelief. Then  the old memories came back to him. He remembered the tense incident that had consumed thousands of people in his city. The thrilling incident was the arrival of hundreds of large long-necked turtles that had devastated the city.

The green mark on his wrist suddenly flashed, telling him that his surroundings weren't doing well. He quickly threw his young coconut and grabbed his guitar at an unpredictable speed. His friends who were also enjoying the day immediately followed Roderick wherever he went.

"What happened Roderick?!" asked one of his friends.

"That man already told us that big whales come ashore. I'm sure they're not ordinary whales, so stop asking questions now and concentrate on finding a safe place." explained Roderick with his breath panting as he was walking fast looking for a safe place to hide.

Not to mention the people who were around the beach away, they screamed when they saw the sea water suddenly rolled up in a deep blue color. They are scattered without knowing the direction of the destination.

"Leave your cars! You won't have time to escape!"

    "Run!!"

    "Find a safe place!!"

"Watch out!!! The water is coming!"

    Wusssyyy…

The seawater washes away anything that gets in its way. Even millions of humans were swept away in it. They kept shouting expressing their respective conditions. Some screamed for help because they couldn't swim, some screamed for help if their child disappeared because of the rushing water, some screamed in pain because their bodies were hit by hard objects.

In such conditions, they saw large whales flying in large numbers. They are increasingly frightened because destruction will soon be seen. If given a choice, they too will prefer to die by drowning than to die from attacks from terrible strange creatures.

"As I thought, these whales are not ordinary whales. They come like hundreds of big turtles suddenly attacking the townspeople." said Roderick who was hugging a coconut tree trunk.

Roderick chose to stay on the coconut tree branch for a while, and later after the water receded he would look for those closest to him who are now out of nowhere. With his face grimacing in pain because his hands were slashed by thin objects, he continued to pay attention to the movements of the strange whales that flew around like a bird.

He examined his body starting from the head, body shape, fins, to the color. At first glance, the large animal is indeed a whale. But the strange thing is that he can see the sparkle in his eyes that does not emit naturalness like whales in general.

Suddenly the green mark on his wrist lit up again and moved Roderick's hand straight up. When he realized what his aim was, he could now see one of the large whales heading his way. His eyes flashed with anger with a very dangerous scent.

Instantly Roderick closed his eyes to strengthen the mark on his wrist so he could restrain the huge whale that was heading towards him. And unexpectedly his struggle was successful. One of the large whales that was about to attack him was suddenly held back by his stiff hands. Roderick himself really couldn't believe that the green mark on his wrist could still follow his heart.

To see if anyone else had seen him, he looked around him. But there were no living people but hundreds of corpses that had been floating without knowing their names.

The green mark on his wrist was the blood his grandfather had shed after winning against hundreds of large turtles. But unfortunately, even though his grandfather managed to fight the strange animal, his life could not be saved because of the hard impact of the turtle shell that exploded after hundreds of arrows shot into their stomachs. So at the end of his life he asked Roderick to keep his city, and keep it a secret as Roderick's biological grandfather who was indeed crowned as the conqueror of the big tortoise in the historical record of the development of his city. And now the historical record of the city's development was in a place that even Roderick himself didn't know where it was.

"What's with my hand?!" Roderick suddenly panicked when the green mark on his hand flickered.

The flickering green mark had an effect on his hand which was slowly dropping. If his hand fell completely, the whale above him would move again and hit him hard.

It didn't take long for Roderick's hand that was raised straight now to fall completely. So that Roderick drowned with the strong thrust of the big whale earlier. In the water Roderick tried to return to the land to take a breath, but unfortunately the whale continued to hinder his struggle and again he did not manage to get ashore.

"What do you want from me strange whale?!" Roderick thought shouting at the huge whale that was still blocking his way. At the same time he fought the attack of the whale which was visible from the rough wagging of its tail.

This whale still didn't give up, it hit Roderick's arm with its strong and powerful fin. So that Roderick was pushed according to his punch.

Roderick repeatedly moved in pain in the water, then his eyes stared intently at the whale that was still watching him.

"The game begins, strange whale!" with a soul struggling with passion, Roderick swam dozens of times around the whale at super speed. He didn't care if later the whale would be more angry than him or even if the whale would devour him whole. Most importantly he could teach him a lesson for hitting him like that earlier.

As a descendant of Theo Werner who was born into a great human, Roderick used the remnants of his abilities to continue to surround the great whale. He was sure the whale would be confused and would go away from him. Then after it worked, he would immediately go to the mainland and find a hiding place for a while.

Instead of succeeding, Roderick was blown away by the whale's tail. So he bounced far out of the water.

"The wagging tail is so strong, my ass hurts now." when his body flew into the air, he still managed to grumble like that.

While in the air he saw hundreds of other whales still flying around somewhere. But when his body turned back down, he saw the atmosphere of the city which was very destroyed.

"Arrgghhh…" Roderick grimaced as he gripped his waist tightly as his body was stranded on top of a tall building.

In the condition of his body that already felt crushed like that he was still trying to reach the fort of the building which was not too high. He wanted to see how chaos was in his city. City of Vanhigh Wern. Tears welled up in her eyes as the chaos of her city now exceeds that of twenty-seven years ago.

But suddenly, "I'll finish everything, grandpa." Roderick's eyes slowly closed with a black shadow because his body already felt weak after struggling against the strength of the huge and strange whale.

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.
