I saw this story on 'You'll also Like' section while browsing other stories... LOL, and my first thought was that, Yi? The author writes something new again? Anyway, I was intrigued by the synopsis and decided to read this story. I wasn't so sure about the story after reading the first few chapters, but as I go on, the story gets more interesting. As expected, the writing quality was excellent. I do admire the author's writing style; it flowed nicely. The pace of the story was just right. I enjoyed the characters interactions. Then, there was a bit of mystery that kept me wanting to read more. Looking forward to read more.
With 5 chapters out, a detailed review is difficult. But the author is of to a very good start. The opening chapter is very captivating and before you know it you'll be clicking the next chapter. The build up to the mysteries is very good too. Nothing is being revealed to soon, and nothing is too vague either. Looking forward to the transition to the Meiji era.
Only five chapters out so far. But this story is amazing, I believe this is the authors best work so far. This authors is truly capable of writing anything and she mixes up the genres so well, without using the common average themes you see here on WN. All her stories are unique. Interested in seeing how things progress with Setsura, a strong FL with a dark past.
Only two chapters out so far, but I trust this author. Read her other works and she's a very good writer, her writing isn't perfect and there is the occasional typo and mistake. But in contrast to her first novel, she's learned from her mistakes and her writing style has improved. Time Travelling, Mystery and Romance, I'm looking forward to seeing how she combines these elements together. The opening is very captivating, your immediately hooked from the first few lines alone. Looking forward to reading more.
It looks like those books of mystery or a police-style romance. From those we see in the New York Times, best sellers with great recommendations. I feel the author didn't get proper attention from publishers and decided it was a waste not to publish, so the only way he could do it was to publish here. Something of great quality, let's help this author !!! I hope the author gets a contract with WebNovel. This novel deserves it!
The writing quality is good, superb! The flow of the story is interesting and the Author is in depth in writing. There is suspense building up on the life of Kaname Setsura. Interestingly, her boyfriend fall into a coma when she was about to marry him, a sad event that make her withdraw to her inner self probably wanting to protect herself form the pain and the tragedy. I had a feeling they will meet again somehow. It's one story worth following! Keep up the good work Author!
A curious division of the Japanese eras - taise, seva and haisei disappeared, leaving only a long meiji. But this is fantastic! Everything is possible! The story is not as simple as it seems at first glance, it is deeper and more interesting. The plot is famously twisted, it is deeper than in works similar in genre. A story with clear prospects to reach 1,000,000 views in the next couple of months. Wow, author, this is awesome!
This story started off well with a very interesting introduction. The writing quality was good with minimal mistakes and the author created vivid imagery. "But that did not matter to her; she finally found it. Her one clue." - I felt that that this part was a bit direct - maybe it would flow better with description in the previous paragraph about how the butterfly piqued her interest and it might be a clue. I felt that 'later on' in this passage was a little repetitive: "Later on, when she got her gold membership card from her father, Shinji came with her to the library every day. Setsura thought it was just a coincidence, but later on, she learned that just like her, he was curious about the butterfly too." I wonder why Shinji was curious about the butterfly - is that because of his sincere attitude to Setsura or maybe he's related to the mystery in this story. I'm curious about whether Setsura has powers and what happened in her past. Good job😊
