Also I'm not good with words and my writing skills are just so-so.
"Mom, Hyun- he, will he leave? Will he really leave me all alone?" she asked with her hoarse throat and tears building up in her eyes once again, ready to fall any moment soon.
"He won't just leave you yet. Jihyun is going to be fine and walking around soon," the person on the other end of the call reassured.
"Mom, Hyun won't wake up. I'm scared," her words tumbled.
"Mother will be there soon. Hold on." the person hung up. "Taehyung, can you speed up? Y/n is probably tumbling right now."
"We'll be there in 15 minutes. Mom don't worry," the said Taehyung replied from the driver's seat and stepped on the accelerator.
"Jihyun will make it, right?"
"He better."
"She loves him madly. She will lose her mind if he doesn't," Mother said.
"That is precisely why we cannot let him leave just like that."
"She sounded so terrified. I don't think I have the courage to see her in such a state."
"We are here," Taehyung stopped the car.
Mother got out and he went to the parking lot. Asking at the reception table she headed straight to where Y/N was. Upon reaching she saw her elder daughter Lee Yeri hugging a sleeping Y/N and walked over to them.
"I had her take sleeping pills. She was freaking out," Yeri said shifting her sister's head to her mother's lap.
"What are the doctors saying? Is it very serious?" Mother asked caressing her daughter's head.
"The wounds are deep and he lost quite a lot of blood. It'd be a miracle if he can make it alive." she answered solemnly.
"How long it might take for him to gain conciseness?" Taehyung walked over and sat beside Yeri.
"He should be up in 2 days. More but not less."
The following few days went by fast and Y/N refused to leave the hospital for even a minute. She won't drink much less eat and sleep. She constantly degraded her health down leaving the others with no choice but to forcefully take her away and have rest. They knew it was hard on her, fixing her eyes on Jihyun waiting for even the slightest movement only to be disappointed over and over again. She was running out of energy to support herself during these times of difficulties.
"Miss Lee?" someone called and soon became the center of attention.
"Yes, that's me," Y/N replied weakly with shining eyes anticipating.
"Mr. Kang sadly didn't make it. We are sorry."
"Hyun- he- mom- hy-" she voice halted and she could no longer continue to speak what she wanted to. Her words formed a lump in her throat not allowing even the cries to come out, suffocating her.
