19 'Spider's Here'

Revising for a literature quiz, I waited for Emalie in the class which gradually started to fill up. Although, I had already guessed what it was related to, I was still eager to know if my speculations were right.

Emalie waltzed in, radiating different vibes. Happy vibes to be exact. She settled on her usual desk; in front of mine and turned to me.

"Gosh, finally, but How do I tell her?" Emalie thought.

'What do you mean 'how do I tell her?' Girl, fill me in.'

I wanted to know everything. But then again it's not easy for everyone to share everything. Just how I wasn't able to tell her how my life had changed in the most unexpected ways.

"Did something good happen?" I asked.

"You have no idea, Linnet, a lot happened. To start with, Ryle asked me out, at your birthday party."

"Really? What did you say?" I asked, all excited and giddy.

"How could I say no to his Cute as hell confession." Emalie laughed.
