8 Chapter 8 - Suffering of a big Leopard [Part 2]

Levi didn't feel any emotional fluctuations after killing Captain Morgan, despite that being the first time he killed another human being. He had always been rather apathetic when it came to these things, or maybe the anger influenced his thoughts when he killed.

Looking at the horizon where Levi disappeared, Zoro had a deep expression on his face while Luffy was still regretting that he forgot to ask Levi to join his crew, and his face was as silly as ever, 'Aiya, at least now I have Zoro!'

However, one thing was certain.

Levi's leaving silhouette was deeply engraved in their minds, and the sun seemed to be overshadowed by him. Until that powerful silhouette disappeared, nobody reacted, and the marines sang and danced!

Levi bought a big ship, which could be considered well-made, enough to accompany them for some time. He also customized their pirate flag, it was a black flag signaling its status as a pirate ship. There was a skull drawn at its center, but the most unique thing about the flag was that a blue sea dragon was drawn inside the skull!

''Wow, Levi, to think you can draw so well!'' Leo was deeply amazed, he also got a lot of common sense after getting to know Levi, and naturally knows that such a well-drawn thing is rare!

Hearing Leo's words full of praises, Levi wondered if that humanoid ca- leopard actually learned to shoot flattering words. A smile appeared on his face, and Levi replied shortly, ''It's normal. Hm, we will be called Leviathan Pirates!''

Before Levi and Leo could delve more into a drama, a journal fell from the skies right at the light blue-haired youngster's hands. It was a wanted poster!

In the poster, a very handsome youngster with light blue-colored hair and dark blue-colored eyes seemed to be looking at the distance coldly. It was as if a war was slowly approaching him, but he was unwilling to lose!

Both Levi and Leo were speechless, what kind of photographic skills were these? They looked at each other before sighing and continuing to read. Under the photo, big words were written: Zen D. Levi, Dead or Alive.

However, such a bounty that was supposed to be shocking for someone who just had their first bounty issued didn't surprise Levi. Setting the direction, the big ship was being automatically pushed towards that direction, and Levi focused on training. He was training two things at the same time: Physical fitness and Obversation Haki, with Leo assisting him.

Leo was also doing physical training while trying to hit him, and as the days passed, their strength was progressing quickly. A week or so passed since they set 'foot' at the seas.

They were training as usual, but today, a change happened. Leo's claws became blurry, and they slashed at exaggerated speeds, but no matter what he did, Levi could dodge all his attacks without any trouble. There was a peaceful expression on the light blue-haired youngster's face, and his head changed directions every now and then.

All the while doing push-ups with heavyweights attached on his back.

Suddenly, Levi stood up and opened his closed eyes. A wave of white passed through them like waves, before slowly returning to normal. All of his surroundings changed, having a tinge of greyish blue, a sign that he finally learned Observation Haki!

He let out a deep breath, ''I have finally learned it... Leo, have you ever heard of Haki?''

Hearing Levi's sudden question, Leo was slightly confused before shaking his head negatively. Nodding, Levi continued, ''Haki is what we can define as a manifestation. There are three types of Haki - Conqueror's Haki, Armament Haki, and Observation Haki.''

''One of them are innate, which means that it can't be acquired through training, while the other two are the manifestation of the body and the spirit respectively. One is body strength, while the other is mental strength.'' Levi said before breathing lightly, and the surroundings became normal to him again.

Then, he continued with a short smile, ''What I was learning before is Observation Haki, it allows me to see your attacks in advance, and even the surrounding area around me briefly. I have once heard of someone that can see as if he has eyes, despite being blind, through it!''

''What?!'' Leo was shocked, someone blind could see through Observation Haki, that's an insane thing for him!

Levi smiled quietly, knowing that there are many people who can see with closed eyes through Observation Haki. That blind man is a special case, and even he himself is a special case. Without the Water Water Fruit, instead of a week, the time taken to learn it would range from two weeks to a month.

Of course, that speed is still extremely abnormal. And Levi just learned Observation Haki is stronger than others, which is an innate advantage of his Water Water Fruit!

Now that it has been learned, Levi would be able to teach it to Leo and help due to his experience with it. Levi doesn't think he is strong, mainly because he knows of the terrifying people in the 'New World'. Even random pirates there may be able to kill him easily, because they are way more experienced and stronger than him!

Nobody who lives in the New World is common people, they all know Armament and Observation Haki!

Levi won't focus on Armament Haki as of now, but on his physical strength and Sword abilities. He has just started in the way of a swordsman, and a stronger physical strength will naturally make it easier for him to learn Armament Haki.

''For the next two weeks left to reach our destination, our training routine will double in difficulty!'' Levi said with determination, but his words almost made the poor humanoid leopard cry.
