6 Chapter 6 - Friendly Straw-Hat

''Ah! This food is so deliciousss!'' Kitty said while munching down an incredible amount of food. The waiter was stupefied by the humanoid ca- leopard's capacity to eat food!

''Hey, Kitty...'' Suddenly, Levi called out to Kitty.

''Yum?'' Kitty replied awkwardly as he ate more and more food, as if his stomach was a bottomless glutton.

Levi pondered for a few seconds, before continuing, ''I don't think Kitty is a name fit to you, it looks more like a girl's name, right?''

''Whatever, just don't choose a bad name like the one you proposed before, Cat sucks. It's horrible, I'm a leopard, not a cat!''

''Uh, what about Leo?''

''...Wow, fine.''

The waiter, who heard their conversation, wiped the sweat from his forehead while feeling that he met two strange guys today. And one of them isn't even human, but a humanoid leopard!

'Sure enough, living in seclusion is the way...' The waiter thought to himself before secretly deciding to retire and living peacefully.

At the same time, a certain Mugiwara entered the Inn they were in, and saw the huge amount of food placed at Leo and Levi's table. Along with him was a timid pink-haired kid whose eyes were constantly looking around, as if he was fearing something.

''Wooaah! Such a big amount of food!'' The youngster with a Straw-Hat said with stars inside his eyes, the food was so fragrant! He gulped down a mouthful of saliva, and the smell was driving him crazy.

His hands extended to grab the food, but a certain humanoid leopard caught his hand, ''Oi oi, what do you think you're doing, grabbing my dear food?''

''Aw! Stop being so stingy, there is so much food, I only want a bite!'' The Mugiwara said grudgingly before adding, ''I'm Monkey D. Luffy, nice to meetcha!"

''I'm Zen D. Levi, and this is Leo.'' Levi said, not bothering to hide his name. The youngster with a straw-hat looked special in some way, but Levi couldn't identify what exactly.

''Oh, so can I eat some?'' Luffy said dazedly, not hiding his desire to eat such a fragrant food, and Levi chuckled before giving him permission. As Luffy ate some, they gradually started to know each other better, ''So, Luffy, what are you doing in this town?''

Munching down a lot of food, Luffy replied, ''Oh, I'm gwoing to recrewuit a swordsman to my crew! I heard that a powerful swordsman who is a bounty hunter is here.''

Laughing as Luffy's words were a bit distorted due to his mouth being filled with food, Levi nodded, ''So you're going to become a pirate? Yahahahaha! What a coincidence, perhaps we will meet each other in the sea, somewhere else!''

Standing up, Levi smiled slightly before throwing some money to the waiter, who caught it, ''This is the payment for all the food. You can keep the rest to yourself, yes?''

''Let's go, Leo.'' Levi said, and Leo hesitantly stood up before following him. His eyes had great regret, such a huge amount of food was going to be eaten by someone else, not by him!

Luffy looked towards Levi curiously and wanted to ask if the two of them wanted to join his crew, but before he could react, the two of them disappeared under his sight, so he could only sigh and continue to eat the food, ''Aiya, I wanted to ask them if they wanted to join my crew!''

''They're actual pirates, pirates, you got it? What if they're bad person?'' Coby asked incredulously, but Luffy had a big smile on his face, ''Shishishi, anyone who gives me food can't be a bad person!''

''...'' Coby suddenly doubted life, this wasn't logical at all!

Leo's eyes looked over Levi grudgingly, and he asked, ''Levi, why must we be so friendly to that Luffy? We even left him a lot of food, that's no fair! I wanted to devour it!''

'So the problem is not being friendly, but him not eating it!' Levi thought to himself, before shaking his head slightly, ''We will have a good show to watch, and Luffy seems to be a bit special. Let's see the show from a better position, yes?''

In the next moment, Levi brought Leo to an open field where a green-haired man was tied to a wooden pole. A blond teenager stood in front of him, and slowly crushed a riceball under his feet, ''Let's see if you can survive the month, hmph!''

Then, he left along with his marine subordinates.

A young girl looked at the situation with tears in her eyes, and the green-haired man looked at her before saying, ''Bring it to me, the riceball...''

''B-But... It was crushed and is full of sand...'' Her voice was extremely low, but the green-haired man heard it and sighed before repeating, ''Bring it to me. I will eat it, it's not like I haven't eaten anything worse than that. I'm hungry.''

His eyes seemed to be as deep as the vast ocean, and his words left Leo utterly confused, ''No. That green-haired man is not fated with us, and Luffy's goal of a crewmate is him. We shouldn't interfere.''

'Fate? Pah!' Leo thought furiously, that's such a bad excuse! He didn't understand Levi's meaning at all, and just thought of it as an extremely bad excuse.

Ignoring Leo's obvious stare filled with inexplicable grudges, Levi's smile seemed to widen slightly.
