16 Chapter 16 - Leaving for the Grand Line
''A good show?'' Leo asked while feeling inexplicably familiar with these words, but Levi didn't bother to answer at all. He waved his hands, and the big ship was slowly submerged underwater.
Before Leo could complain, Levi said leisurely, ''No worries, I've coated it with a special layer of water, similar to the ones used to go to the Fishman Island. Except, mine is made through my own Water Water Fruit. So, nothing will happen to the ship.''
''Damn.'' Leo was stupefied, the Water Water Fruit can do that too? Not only it is extremely strong, can aid with Observation Haki, but now it also has this function?
Levi pointed his nose towards the skies, ''YA HA HA HA, I'm so awesome.''
''Ewwww.'' Leo and Laffitte said at the same time, and the proud Levi was struck by imaginary lightning. With a dejected expression, he brought his crewmates with him, disappearing with a 'swoosh' sound.
The villagers stared at each other blankly, unsure of what the hell happened in the few moments that just passed. First the person who seemed to be the captain was very proud, and then his pride was shot down by his own crewmates?
'Oh God, are Pirates so evil nowadays to the point where they don't even respect their own Captain?' A villager thought in horror and feared that a wave of Arlong Pirates-like pirates would surge.
'Anyway, unless they can defeat Arlong, if they are bad or not doesn't matter... In the end, we can't escape from this damn place.' The villager thought with extreme sadness, almost crying on the spot. Then, he and his fellow villagers went back to do whatever they needed to do.
For these villagers, the unfortunate truth was that their own fate wasn't in their hands, but in the hands of Arlong. If someone came to this island, if they tried to help them or not didn't matter. Many cases like that happened, but in the end, Arlong was still here.
Near Cocoyasi Village's island, a few humans slowly approached it with a small boat. One of them was a certain straw-hat, who approached the island quickly with a crewmate and a friend.
Meanwhile, within Cocoyasi Village, a youngster with a long nose suddenly woke up.
At Arlong Park, a certain green-haired man was tied up, doubting life after two of the people who accompanied him suddenly left him tied up, caught by the fishmen. His eyes quietly observed the area all around him. Even in such a situation, that certain green-haired man was still trying to get information for his crew.
'After we get done with this, I'm going to cut that ugly hair you have, Usopp.' The green-haired man remembered this grudge, and a certain youngster with a long nose suddenly shuddered.
''I-Is someone talking badly about me?'' He muttered, trembling slightly. Usopp touched his hair unconsciously, as if afraid it would fall.
...
''Oi, Luffy, don't punch that sea cow, it just wants some food!'' A blonde man shouted to Luffy, who was preparing to punch a giant sea cow. Luffy shook his head angrily, 'So that cow wants our food? Damn it, let's punch it, Sanji!'
However, after noticing the eyes of the sea cow, Sanji was alarmed, ''It wants to eat us?''
''!!!''
Without hesitation, he jumped towards the sea cow and kicked it fiercely!
Splash!
A huge splash drenched them with water as the sea cow fell unconscious with Sanji's kick, ''Ahhhh, I feel so weaaaak~''
Luffy's was lying in the ground, unable to move as the sea water drenched him. Feeling speechless, Sanji just caught him and started kicking the air, going towards the nearby island. A certain man looked at their backs, and shouted, ''Oi, what about me?''
Too bad, he was ignored.

''Captain, what is the reason for watching them? We were supposed to go towards the Grand Line directly, as we have already gathered enough supplies. Shouldn't we go directly, instead of watching these people, as they are weak?'' Laffitte asked with some curiosity.
Levi nodded slightly, and said, ''Yeah. I forgot that except for the Lawless Town, there is no other place in the East Blue where people use Haki. This is not going to be a good show at all, we will need to wait for them to get stronger, before watching a good show.''
Both Laffitte and Leo had an imaginary cold sweat dripping down their forehead, when their Captain has a mood swing, things can get dangerous.
''But Laffitte, I feel that Straw-Hat guy is an interesting person. He actually saved a bounty hunter, and the latter actually joined his crew, don't you think it needs some charisma to do that?'' Levi asked with a wide smile, and terrifying waves rose in his eyes.
He seemed to see something, as if in the future, the Straw-Hat would give him a good show, and thought quietly 'After all... He is just like me, someone who owns the Will of the D.!'
The smile on his face shortened slightly, and from his hands, water shot towards the direction where a certain Straw-Hat appeared. The words 'Zen D. Levi will be waiting for you in the Grand Line, Monkey D. Luffy.'
His eyes were extremely sharp, and Levi's pupils shrank unconsciously, as a wave of Conqueror Haki was unknowingly sent forward. Some villagers nearby fainted, only waking up after the wave of Conqueror Haki disappeared.
Then, Levi said with a serious expression, ''Let's go...''
''To the Grand Line!''

Somewhere within Cocoyasi Village, Luffy and a certain blonde were looking at words formed by water. Suddenly, the black-haired youngster put a wide smile on his face, ''OOOH! I remember him, he gave me a lot of food! So he's already going to the grand line?''
Through Nami, Luffy and his crew did gain some knowledge about the world up to the Grand Line. He showed a big smile on his face, ''Let's go, Sanji! We will be helping Nami, and then going to it!''
''To the Grand Line!''

[A/N: I had some complaints about ''not original'', and I was planning to make them have some interactions with Luffy and his crew, just to deepen some friendship for the future. But to avoid getting annoyed with more complaints, I just changed the plot I prepared.
So, Grand Line, here we go.]
