15 Chapter 15 - Side Chapter 1

[A/N: This is a side chapter and while it is in the fanfic ''canon'', it doesn't directly affect the plot direction, or the plot itself. Of course, there are side chapters that will affect it, even if briefly, and this one is an example. It is a slightly shorter chapter, and will not be too common. Every now and then, I'll make a side chapter to relax.]

A few more days passed, and the trio of the Leviathan pirates arrived at an island! They went towards an island with a village named Cocoyasi, Laffitte said that the Arlong Pirates are stationed here, ruling that island. It aroused Levi's interest, so he decided that their last destination before going towards the Grand Line is that island!

The main reason... Laffitte said that Arlong has some relationship with corrupt marines, that let him tyrannize the small island, at the cost of money. He still holds a grudge against the damn marines, who sent a Vice-Admiral to catch his poor fifty million bounty pirate.

'Hehe... Aren't you wanting to catch me? Let me destroy one of your source of income, corrupt marines.' Levi smiled evilly, and Leo who was next to him, suddenly shuddered.

Oh no... That smile again...

Silently, Leo held both hands together and sent a prayer, 'May the underworld have your soul, Arlong.'

''By the way, Laffitte, there is a marine island near the island where Cocoyasi Village is stationed, right? These are most likely the corrupt marine's island. We will pass there after we deal with our dear Arlong~'' Levi hummed happily.

Cocoyasi Village is on an island beside the island where Arlong Park is, and they are connected by a bridge.

Their ship soon came to the view of many of Cocoyasi Village's villagers, and the big pirate flag attracted their attention. It terrified them, another pirate group was coming here? Wasn't Arlong more than enough?!

''Ello, ello, Cocoyasi Villagers! Dun' worry, we are not going to attack you guys!'' Leo took the lead, and jumped down from their big ship to the land. The villagers present looked at him cautiously, and their suspiciousness made the humanoid leopard slightly speechless.

''Uh, I'm just a leopard, what's there to fear?'' He asked while scratching the back of his head, and the villagers suddenly realized, yeah, they have no reason to fear him! Leo looked kind of cute, as he resembles an humanoid ca- cough, humanoid leopard.

At the same time, a young woman with light blue hair stood out from the crowd, ''This is the site of the Arlong Pirates, it's not recommended that any of you come here, or he may kill you all.''

The trio of the Leviathan Pirates looked at her, and noticed that she had no bad intentions at all. She was just kindly reminding them of Arlong's dangerousness, but truth to be told, in front of them, Arlong is just a small ant waiting to be stomped to death.

''Kyihihihi... You shouldn't worry about us, lady. We are very strong, may you believe it or not, and our only purpose in coming here is to kill that Arlong.'' Laffitte said while moving awkwardly, all the way to the ground.

''Kill Arlong...?'' A Villager whispered with some hope, but the small hope that was ignited at his heart was instantly extinguished as a few tall fishmen suddenly walked towards them.

A fierce-looking fishman with a scar going all the way from his forehead to his mouth shouted, ''Oi, what are you doing? The three of you, this island belong to us, the Arlong Pirates! You better leave, otherwise, you'll need to fight us and Captain Arlong!''

''Oho, I'm so afraid!'' Leo said while smiling provocatively, and his furry face was extremely taunting to these fishmen, who stared at him dangerously. The fierce fishman just now directly ran towards him, while punching towards Leo!

Levi suddenly got annoyed, why is Leo even losing time with these shrimps? It's just a loss of time, his objective is to provoke the marines, not to waste time with such weak fishmen, ''Leo, we're here to deal with that Arlong, not these shrimps.''

''Yes, yes.'' Leo nodded unsatisfactorily, a little annoyed by Levi, who was too afraid of losing time.

His claws slashed, and three bright blade-like lights flashed, and all fishmen suddenly fell to the ground, with a hole in their hearts. Just as Levi was about to go towards the direction of the Arlong Park, his Observation Haki suddenly caught an interesting thing.

Levi's lips curled up slightly, and he said, ''Well, Leo, I suddenly changed my original plan route. We have another good show to watch, so let's wait patiently, yes?''

''...'' Leo and Laffitte looked at each other, before sighing knowingly.
