1 Chapter 1 - Mythical Logia

Somewhere within Mary Geoise, inside a palace.

A male world noble pointed at a teenager who seemed to be just about 16 years old, and his face contained deep disgust, ''This child is contaminated with the Will of D. and should not mix with us!''

Another world noble beside him nodded, deep disgust could be clearly felt through his voice, ''To think that someone like him was also considered a Celestial Dragon like us... It's a pity that we can't kill other World Nobles, otherwise...''

It was a crime to kill World Nobles, and it included other World Nobles. If one of them killed each other, it was a severe crime that no one was willing to commit because of its consequences. It could range from loss of territory, authority, and even loss of status!

The teenager who heard their voices didn't have any emotional fluctuations. His black eyes were clear like water and deep as the ocean. No ripples of sadness or even anger could be seen within his eyes.

He stared at a man whose appearance was similar to his and waited for his reaction. A moment later, that man opened his eyes and said in an emotionless tone, ''Zen D. Levi, from the moment it was discovered that your mother carries the Will of D., you were destined to be abandoned. From now on, you're not considered a member of the Howard noble family, nor are you my son anymore.''

''But as someone who was once a world noble, you will be able to take the belongings of your mother away. You will be sent to an island, and from then on, your fate with us will be cut.'' The man finished his words closing his eyes, and no emotions could be felt from him.

Levi stared at the man for a few seconds, and at all of the world nobles whispering among themselves around him. Then, he said calmly, ''I'll be leaving with the only two things my mother left. This box, and the sword. Thanks for treating us well all these years.''

Without a second thought, Levi left the palace under the eyes of the person who was once his father. Complicated emotions passed through the man's eyes as he stared at the teenager leaving as if he was struggling. In the next moment, he sighed bitterly, 'It's a pity that I can't help you more than I already did, Levi. May you be safe.'

He seemed to have aged by 10 years after seeing the back of that teenager slowly drifting away from his sight. In no more than a week, he lost not only his beloved wife, but his only son was forced to leave.

In a huge boat, Levi held a box and a sheathed sword. With them by his side, he slowly feel deep asleep. In the short span of a week, his mother's identity was discovered by World Nobles who opposed his father.

The Howard noble family is very well-known because of his father, and many females world nobles naturally coveted his mother's position as his wife. After years of searching, they discovered her identity as someone who carries the Will of D.

The pair of father and son knew it, but didn't expect others to discover it. His father was forced to do this in order to protect him, and these were his secret guards in the boat, protecting him at every moment. These guards were completely loyal to his father, so his safety was guaranteed.

After days, he was abandoned on a big island. There were no cities inside it, and it was covered by huge trees. One of his father's secret guards threw him to the island with brute force, a cover for sending him along with a small Den Den Mushi.

Looking at the huge boat slowly leaving within the endless oceans, Levi sighed with some sadness, 'You've just been away for a week, but I already miss you, mother...'

But he wasn't the kind of person to delve into his own sadness for too much time. Instead, he transformed the sadness into determination to go forward with more strength.

Shaking his head, Levi looked at the box and opened it. There was another box inside it and a small letter with a red circle in its center. With no hesitation, he opened the letter and saw his mother's handwriting.

''The moment you open this letter, my identity as someone who carries the Will of D. has probably been discovered, which means I'll be dead. I know you'll be sad for a while, but also know that you're a strong person.'' It was as if he was hearing his mother's gentle voice, and Levi's eyes became softer.

''This fruit is a very mysterious one. I have seen many special devil fruits as your father's wife, but I have never seen a record of this one. But through my experience, I have deduced that this is definitely an extremely strong one.''

''I know you're probably sad right now, but know that what your father did was to protect you from the World Nobles. Remember to carry our legacy forward, I've left that sword for you, practice hard with it.''

''Mother will always be taking care of you from above - Zen D. Ana''

Levi folded the letter gently with slow actions, as if he was afraid to damage it. In the next moment, he stared at the fruit with determination before stretching his hands forward, grasping it tightly. He ate it without hesitation, and even though it tasted like absolute sh*t, Levi smiled.

Even though it tasted bad, it was one of the only things left behind by his mother. Just as he had the last bite, changes happened in his body. His original black hair slowly became a light shade of blue, like water.

His black eyes became dark blue, and was like the deep ocean. It was calm, but terrifying waves could arise, devouring anything in its path. Around Levi, water appeared out of thin air, and information suddenly appeared in his head.
