Leo successfully managed to keep Claire's phone call a secret but that didn't prevent her from being brought up at the dinner table yet again. He was so done with this. She was probably dead already if what she said about a hit being out on her was true; there was no point arguing over what to do about a dead person.

His mother was furious, Isabella looked about as thrilled with the situation as he did, and his father and grandfather didn't seem too happy either. For the moment he wasn't a part of this but sooner or later someone would try and get him to take a side again.

Isabella was firmly on their mother's side; she was used to being Daddy's Little Princess and didn't want another girl to potentially take her role. Leo had her number. She only cared about not having her spending limits decrease with another girl in the house who might want to shop.
