123 One More Obstacle In The Way

Alex was incredibly confused. People cried when they were happy too? Why would any of this make Claire happy? 

She said she felt loved because of what he said but he wasn't sure which part had done it. When he said the Harringtons were unworthy of being her family or when he said she wasn't alone because she had him and the cat? 

What exactly did feeling loved mean, anyway? If love was intense affection, did that mean she believed he had intense affection for her in that moment? Was she able to feel it come through his words somehow? 

Alex's questions only grew worse the more he tried to figure out the meaning of Claire's words. He figured it was better to ask than let them stew in his head. 

"Uh…which part of that made you happy? And what exactly does feeling loved mean?"
