They’re cute

It took me a while to calm the villagers, but I was able to calm them down in the end.

They finally accepted us going into the forest after the spirit beasts, but before we could go…

All of the villagers offered different family heirlooms to us.

They all said that these were items that had been passed down for generations by their ancestors. Their ancestors told them that these items would protect them in their times of danger, but they never had to use them before.

Or they never got a chance to use them since even if the spirit beasts attacked, it wasn't as if they had time to run back to grab these items.

So now they wanted to give them to us to protect ourselves while we faced the spirit beasts.

The problem was that…most of these items were just nothing more than knick knacks.

With my Appraisal skill, I was able to see through most of these items with ease.
