1 The First Encounter

*Beep beep... Beep beep*, the loud sound of the alarm clock pierces through the air and he was awakened by the alarm. *Argh~ This annoying sound~ So annoying... * After 10 minutes, he got out of bed, dragging his tiredness body to get a wash-up on his face, getting a quick shower. Suddenly, his mum shouted: "Hey~!!! Jayden!!! Hurry up and eat your breakfast and get prepared already!" "Coming...", he said. And so, he put on his new uniform, finished his breakfast and get ready to go out.

After 40 mins later... Finally arrived at the new college school. Then he let out a sigh, saying: "Ahh... why do I feel so tired suddenly..." And so, he went inside the school. As expected, it all started with a queue in the beginning. The queue is mainly to segregate different classes. So he managed to find the class he is allocated to and settled down. The scene is rather noisy and many people are bustling around. It's taking quite a while till each class is settled down.

After that, then each class moves to their respective classroom. The atmosphere is like you are with a group of strangers, so he roughly scans their faces so that he knows who would be in the same class as him. Feeling lonely, he doesn't know anyone at all. The class then begins with a short and brief introduction about themselves. "Darn this, I hate to do an introduction, anything that has got to do with ice-breaking", mumbling to himself. He then let out an awkward expression...

Suddenly, a girl stands up and introduces herself.

Jayden then looks towards her direction. He couldn't really get a glimpse of how she looks like. Somehow, she catches Jayden's attention.

The girl then says, "Hi! My name is Genevieve Tay. Nice to meet you all!".

Shortly after everyone has introduced themselves, it is time for lunch. After lunch then start to collect study materials for each module of the course. Basically, before the first day of the school starts, would have an orientation day, and everything ends peacefully.

After a few days later, it is Monday, a day where the first day of school officially starts. As usual, Jayden doesn't really feel excited or anything, as though it was like any other days.

A moment later, Jayden arrived at the school and slowly walk towards the classroom that he was supposed to go to for his lessons.

The class starts and Jayden has seated down on a chair with an oval-like-shape table in front of him, which can sit up to 4 to 5 people in a table. Unknowingly, a girl came to sit beside him.

Jayden turn his head and look towards the girl. In his mind, he was thinking "Oh?! Isn't she the one that I saw during my orientation day in the classroom? Wait... What's her name again? Tay... ... Something...".

Jayden then greeted her with a nervous look. Her face was then facing towards Jayden's direction. She greeted him back and that is where Jayden's eyes were staring into her eyes directly, face-to-face. It was the first time that Jayden saw her face.

Jayden shyly asked "Erm... Sorry, may I know w..what was your name?". The girl replied. Jayden then remembered her name and praises her for having such a beautiful name.

And so, the atmosphere became quiet as they pay attention to their lecturer, and subsequently, the class ended.

On the way home, Jayden is in his own thoughts, "Is my heart fluttering?"

"What is going on? Why do I felt so weird after looking at her eyes?"

Jayden thought maybe she just looked beautiful and the voice is very gentle that's all. However, his mind still has an image of her. It seems like the girl has left a deep impression on Jayden.

Just like this, for the next few days, nothing special has happened.
