1 Kittypet

A she-cat was looking out the window, waiting patiently for her owner to come back home from town.

"Starlight, did you see my toy? I think maybe Stuffy took it!" exclaimed a brown and gray tom cat.

"No, Rusty.." said the she-cat. The she-cat has a mixture of blue, gray, and white fur.

Rusty aggressively meowed, "When I find Stuffy, I will make him pay for taking my toy!"

"Oh, and how are you going to do that? Fight him with your fluffy paws?" teased Starlight.

"Well... I'm going to do something about it, and you should lighten up! I'm not going to hurt Stuffy... h-he is like family to me!" Rusty exclaimed. "Anyways, I am going to visit him now since he lives next door, and his owner isn't going to come back for a while." Rusty then proceeded to exit outside though the cat door.

After staring at the cat door that Rusty previously exited, Starlight felt a strong urge to go outside. She nodded her head, firm in her decision to sneak out to the woods and hunt, thinking it would satiate her "wild side".

As Starlight exited the cat door, stretching herself, she enjoyed how the rough earthen floor felt underneath her paws as she delicately walked away from her owner's house.

She enjoyed the soft breeze that would brush her fur, herself purring at the soothing feeling.

Starlight kept walking, further into the forest. She admired the trees - how magnificent and tall they look! She looked up and then saw a monkey swinging on the vines, the monkey appearing to be in a hurry to go somewhere. How nice it must be to be able to swing on vines!

Starlight then directed her gaze downwards, focusing on her path when she saw a mouse. Starlight smirked and wagged her tail, excited for a chase, and was about to pounce when, suddenly, a quick flash of a shadow of a cat stilled her.

The cat then appeared in front of Starlight. Thinking of "stranger danger," she slowly stepped away from the unfamiliar cat. She was ready, her hind legs ready to either run away or attack the cat.

The cat's face was devoid of emotion, making Starlight contemplate on why she was standing in front of her and expecting her.

Starlight was about to run away when a loud MEOW from behind her cause her to whip her head back.

To her surprise, there was a group of cats surrounding her. Who knew?! They were all different sizes and different colors - each unique and breathtaking, so captivating to Starlight.

Starlight immediately felt the color drain from her face, fear present. She started thinking - can I run from them all? Maybe I should play victim.

Starlight then observed that even though the cats now surrounded her at all angles, there was a noticeable gap to her left. She could escape through there.

As soon as Starlight dug her hind legs into the earthen floor and directed her gaze at the gap, a certain cat pushed her to the ground.

Starlight let out a loud meow in pain, the cat as heavy as a truck laid above her, indifferent to the weird position Starlight was in.

Starlight didn't dare to say anything, her mouth shut. At any moment, they could gouge our her eyes.

After a moment of silence, a loud "She isn't a clan warrior. Wait- she is a kittypet!" resonated the forest.

Starlight was unable to locate the cat who spoke, her head head locked on the ground.

After that comment, the whole group laughed. Horrendously loud, yet melancholy laughter filled the forest.

The cats eventually ceased their laughter, turning their backs to Starlight as they huddled up and whispered.

The cat above Starlight made no movement, his paws on Starlight's neck strong and unmoving. A slight movement from Starlight, and her neck would be in serious pain.

After a series of hushed whispers, a cat finally spoke.

The cat above Starlight was nice enough to apply less pressure so that Starlight could face the loud-spoken cat.

It was a pale, ginger she-cat. The she-cat's face wasn't one any cat would wish to look at, Starlight remarked.

"I'll make an offer with you which you can either accept or decline. If you decide to take advantage of our leniency, we'll tear you apart piece by piece until your pretty little fur is splattered all over the forest, and your blood is the only thing anyone can smell when they walk into this forest," the cat said, venom in her eyes.

Starlight gulped.
