7 Solo hunting

It has been 1 year since the time where I gained by successive levels. And now I am 10 years old and I have significantly grown my height is about 3 feet and my body is big compare to other kids, as for my face I don't have a handsome face just a average face but the only thing which is great is my eyes because my pupils are deep and black that will make anyone fearful of me, well that was said by my mother and for my hair it also was a short black hair.

In that 1 year, me and my father had been hunting for 5 months straight. And in those 4 months I had been fighting with all kinds of animals and monsters. I had once fought with an Fire boar, it was a fierce battle as every-time the boar charged and hit me or my shield he would do additional fire damage which made it hard to fight with a shield, so I had to give up on it and fight with the spear. As, we both fight we were in a stalemate and doing war of attrition and I won that as the boar became exhausted after all that running and after seeing it getting tired I relentlessly attack it until my spear finally pierced it's head.

And the other time I had faced with the Wind deer and like the Fire boar it also was a tough battle. As, the deer only attacked with it's wind magic and I couldn't reach near it. It happened until it's manna was finished and I thought maybe it will be an easy win now that it's manna is finished but I couldn't be any wrong. As, when I got near it and ready to attack it, that deer just stood in it's back legs and stomp me with it's front legs, I was fast enough to block it with my shield but I was dropped down because of it's powerful legs, and my father had to kill it before that deer kill me. At that was the first time I was defeated. And since than I wasn't able find any Wind deer to fight.

As, for monsters it was just some small group of goblins. It wasn't any difficult fighting against them because seeing me small they looked down on me and didn't fight me and I just finished them begore they could fight back. After killing one or two the rest will get afraid and it becomes even more easy to kill them.

In all those 6 months, I didn't just kill animals as we weren't always lucky enough to find suitable animals to fight against me and we have to just wait doing nothing. So, my father started survival training for me. And those training were hellish but also very productive for my growth. In those time I also learned how to cook food, make traps, information gathering, information on medicinal and poisonous plants and herbs. And also how to escape without leaving any traces behind. Hunting like that for 6 months I was finally able to reach 12 levels.

As for the rest of the year as the winter came many animals left the forest which made hunting very hard so I just those year doing my personal training and Yoga. And thanks to that there is slight improvement in my stats. And I also learned horse riding. As I was getting more and more bored doing the same training and asked father to teach me horse riding. At first it was hard and I kept falling again and again. But after doing it for 4 months straight I was able to do a proper horse riding. And when I was riding the horse, I thought of those valiant knights fighting in their horses and tried to emit them but I failed and failed pretty miserably as I broke my right hand at that time.

And now it's the second month of the new year and 2 weeks after my right hand healed I was able to properly use my spear. And like that after doing the morning training, I was resting while looking at my new stats,

Seeing my stats I was very proud of it. I had come a long way, was what I was thinking until someone called me.

"Hey son, are you ready for hunting today" father said.

"Ofcourse, I am ready" I replied.

"I was thinking of letting you go hunting alone are you up for it",father asked

"Huh!!", making a stunned face.

"Are you not ready after all those training", father asked seeing me not responding.

"Ofcourse, I am ready",I replied in an energetic voice.

"That's my boy, so let's go", father said.

"Okay", I replied.

And like that we went towards the entrance of the village and there we meet up with the hunting party and all the other village kids also were there. And my father greeted all the uncles and I also tried to greet the kids but no one responded, well looks like there is no improvement. And seeing the kids awkward situation the grown ups hurriedly decided to leave towards the forest.

Once we enter the forest, father asked me,

"Are you really ready to go hunting alone"

"I will go towards the west",like that I made it clear to my father.

"You brat, hahahahahhaa", said father while laughing.

"And don't forget to collect the body of the dead animals and keep it in the sack",said Uncle1

"Okay", I replied and moved towards the west side.

And like that I moved towards the west side of the forest. As, I was moving towards the west side of the forest, I was listening to every movement of the forest,well I didn't heard anything but still I was on my guard. And after walking up to 2km I saw my first target and it was the fire boar. As, I saw the boar eating grass, I climbed a tree and reached towards the edge of the branch and from there I jumped and directly attack the boar with my spear and pierced it's head with my spear and it died without knowing anything.

And like that I hunted my first animal pretty easily. After, cutting the head off the body and draining all the blood from the body, I kept it in the sack and went in deeper. And after walking for few minutes, I heard some rustling sound from the bushes. And when I looked towards that bush I saw four goblins coming from that bush. And those goblins were looking at me like a food was presented right in front of them.

Seeing those goblins come I wasn't surprise because I was carrying a bleeding body and the smell of the blood attracts more beast, it seems foolishness doing that in the forest but father said if you wanna attract more beast than this is the right choice and well it was the right choice.And like that I simply dropped that sack and went to my fighting pose.

"Gobu..gobu."

"Gobu..gobu"

They talk to each other like that and finally moved to attack but they didn't attack together but send only one of the goblin to attack. Seeing, that I just smiled and thought this is why goblins are easy to kill.

After seeing only one goblin coming, I instantly charged at him and seeing me charged at him like that the goblin was stunned momentarily and that moment was enough as I shoot my spear towards his head and it pierced it and stood up like a pole in the ground with the goblins head in the ground. And without decreasing my speed I rushed towards the rest of the goblin and whiles moving I picked up my spear and again threw it towards the goblin which was in the rear side and it was a hit and it died instantly as for the rest of the goblins I just used my skill to the goblin in the left side and he flew and hit the tree and fainted, as for the goblin in the right side I give him a roundhouse kick to the head and he also fainted. And than I went towards the third goblin which I had pierce with my spear and picked up my spear and finish off the fainted goblins.

Level up

"Hahahaha..sweet now I am level 13"

After gaining a level, I looked at the a battlefield and took the rusted weapons from the hands of the goblins and put it in the sack. When I was about to move deeper in the forest, I thought of making a trap. So, I dig a hole and put wooden spear and the rusted weapon of the goblins and from upwards I used some small branches cover that hole and put the goblins body on top of the branches, making a very messy pitfall.

Afterwards I moved deeper into the forest. And there I didn't find any problems fighting beast as it was only bunnies and boar. And after seeing the sack full off dead bodies, I made a satisfied smile and return back. As, I was returning back I came near the place where I had made a pitfall and found out that I had caught something in the pitfall. And when I looked inside the pitfall, I saw a dead body of a wolf.

" Looking at the physique of the wolf it must be a wandering wolf as it is very skinny, that means no wolf pack will come after me", after that I take out the wolf's body and carry it in my shoulder and I went towards the meeting point.

While returning I didn't meet any beast and reached the meeting point safely. Once I reached their I saw that everyone has returned and I was the last to return.Seeing me return with a dead body of wolf and the sack full of beast everyone was astonished but my father was not one of them.

"Hahahah..looks like you had an bountiful hunting", father asked joyfully.

"Hehehehee..just one of those lucky days", I replied.

"Hahahah...let's return now as everyone has returned", father said to everybody.

And like that we all moved towards the village. While we were on the way the grown ups were praising me but the kids they were giving me a very hateful gaze.

"Looks like it will be a hard to approach them", I whispered slowly while sighing.

"Don't worry son everything will be alright", father said.

"I don't really care", I replied while looking towards the sky.

And like that the we reached the village safely. And after we reached the village many people began to praise which made all the other kids quite sour. Afterwards nothing special happened and the day ended like that.
