5 First kill
After doing my routine exercise and eating breakfast, I am waiting for father to call me. As I was waiting,I started to think about various things like what will happen when we meet a strong creature which nobody in our village can handle or what if I get lost in the forest and come to a life-threatening place, as such thoughts cover my mind I unconsciously started to tremble from fear of such things really happenings. As I was thinking such things I didn't notice the arrival of my father,
Father: So boy are you afraid.
Me: Yes.
Father: Than should we cancel the hunting.
Me: No, don't it will be alright. I can handle myself.
Father: Fine, but first let's go to your Uncle3 house.
Me: Why.
Father: It's a surprise.So keep quiet and follow me.
After that I followed my father towards Uncle3's house, it wasn't far just three houses left to our house. And when we reached there a man around the age of 35 was waiting for our arrival. He didn't look like a fighter to me as he was fat, and according to my knowledge a fat man in a fantasy world is also known as a Merchant, and I was correct,
Uncle3: So, brother your son't day has also come.
Father: Well it's about time.
Uncle3: Hahahaaaa.. he looks well prepared.
Father: For weapons yes but armours no.
Me: Well you didn't buy it.
Father:.....
Uncle3: Hahahahahaaa.. don't worry kid, your father is well prepared than you think.
Me: Huh!!!
Uncle3: Wait here...
After a while he came out with an leather armour and arm and leg protector, I don't know how great these armours are but by looking at them it looked pretty badass. And practically looking at them I began to smile,
Uncle3: Hohoho...look at your smile.
Me:Hehehe..are all those things for me.
Uncle3 and Father:Yes.
Me:Can I wear it on.
Uncle3: Ofcourse, go inside the house and change.
After Uncle3 handed the armours, I went inside the house and tried to wear it on but I realised that I don't know how to wear it. So, I peek out of the house and called my father,
Me: Umm..father.
Father: Ohh.. that was fast, come outside and show it to us.
Me: Well..
Father: ?????
Me:I don't know how to wear it.
Father and Uncle3:...
Me:.....
Father and Uncle3: Gahahahahahhaahahahaa...
After laughing to his content he came inside the house and helped me in putting on the armour.
After, putting it on I felt like I have gained some weight and it little uncomfortable.
Father: How does it felt.
Me: It feels great but a little uncomfortable.
Father: Well at first everyone feels uncomfortable but you will get used to it.
Me: Okay.
Father: So are you ready.
Me:....Yep.
After coming out of the house father talked with Uncle3 for a short moment and afterwards we went towards the village entrance. At the entrance there were 10 people waiting for us and ofcourse they were the hunting party, and after greeting all of them we went towards the forest. And it was decided that me and my father will go to different directions than the hunting party, so to not cause trouble to the village's food production.
After 5km inside the forest we all separated into three groups of 5-5-2. As we were in the forest I asked my father where we are going,
Me: Father where are we going.
Father: Towards the river.
Me: River.
Father: Yes, towards the river.
After we reached the river, there we climbed a tree a waited for a animal favourable for me to kill to appear. As we were waiting in the tree, many animals and beast came to drink water from the river. All kinds of animal found in Earth were also in this world but with more power. Among those animals there was a single deer and it looked the same as in Earth but when she was attacked by a goblin, she outright used a skill and suddenly the wind changed into a star like shape and tore that poor goblin to pieces. At that time I thought if that's a non-hunting animal than how strong can be a hunting animal like tiger, wolf and lions.
Afterwards many animals came and thankfully no animal with huge smelling sense came.
And after sometime a group of rabbits came to drink water. Well the rabbits looked double the size of rabbits found in Earth and it also had a horn in its head. When father saw these group of rabbits he signalled me saying the time has come and after that my father jumped from the trees and taking in about 4 of the rabbits leaving one rabbit alone. After the separation was completed I also jumped from the tree to the ground which attracted the attention of the remaining rabbit and it pounced towards me.
And before I can gain my footing from the jump the rabbit came and stabbed it's horn towards me. And it was a hit, I couldn't get ready and the horn stabbed me but it couldn't pierce the leather, which I was grateful for but still that attack felt like a punch was given to my stomach. And after separating itself from me that rabbit again pounced towards but this time I was ready and lifted my shield. CLANG... and the impact was so powerful that my hands were a little numb, but that's that and now my turn came as I hurriedly stabbed the rabbit with my a spear but because of my lack of fighting experience it just grazed the rabbit stomach and seeing the opportunity rabbit jumped at me again and this time I used my skill 'Shield Bash' head on against the rabbits horned and CLANG... was heard before the rabbit's horn broke and flew away leaving the rabbit stunned momentarily and seeing my chance I stabbed my spear and pierce the rabbit from the head to toe.
And that way I killed my first animal in this world.
Me: Hahahahahahaha...father I did it hahahaha..
Father: Hahahahahahahhhhahh great now fight this one.
Me:Hahaha...haaaa...aaa..fatherrrr.
Father:Buhahahahhahaha.
And than the next rabbit came but this time I was different than the first time and as the rabbit attacked me with it's horn, I just we side-stepped and slam my shield in the body of the rabbit and rapidly pierced it with the spear...Dead. After killing the rabbit I heard a sound in my head,

After I heard that sound I was stunned momentarily until I heard my father's cheerful sound and looks toward him and it looks like he had already killed those rabbits and was spectating my fight with the 2nd rabbit.
Father: Son it looks like you heard a voice informing about your level up.
Me:Yes.
Father: Congrats, son for levelling up.
Me: It all thanks to you.
Father: But the work was done by you, so need to thank me.
Me: Okay.
Father: But, getting stunned like that will get you killed as enemy can appear from any place any time, so don't let that happen.
Me: Okay fath...
But before I could reply I saw a giant snake rapidly closing towards father with it's mouth wide open and I hurriedly threw with my full force towards that mouth while shouting,
Me: FAAAATTHHEERRR....DDUUUCCKK.
Seeing me throwing spear towards him while shouting at him father was stunned but hurriedly did what I told him. And my spear pierced the mouth of the snake but it wasn't enough to kill it as it was making a Hisss..hisss.. sound while rolling in the ground but it was enough for my dad to attack it. And my dad hurriedly took his bow and three arrows and aimed towards the snake head and he shoot towards it. As the arrow was still moving towards its path the snake used his tail to strike down father and dodge the arrows. But, the snake wasn't just fighting with father there was still me and I had already reached my father and used my skill while shouting it's name as loudly as I can,
SHIELD BASH.. after that I felt great force coming from the shield and I flew like an arrow and was smashed to a tree.. afterwards my head was spinning and before I fainted I heard the voice again,
