4 Class, level up and upgrade
It has been a 2 year since the ritual and I am now 8-year old. And well in these whole year I just went on doing the same exercises again and again well I didn't get to level up since I didn't kill any living beings and my parents forbade me about such things by saying I was too young for that and when the time comes father will come let me join his hunting party to gain some level and some experiences in battle since this a world where countless races fight each other every day, whether for survival or for supremacy there would be battles. And for that gaining some experiences in battle is a most. And also I got some more information about this world.
2 year ago, after the banquet..
Because of the whole banquet thingy I didn't get the chance to know why my stats where surprising, and when the next morning came, I waited for my father to wake up and asked,
Me: Father what's so surprising about my stats.
Father: Well for a 3-tier your stats were very high.
Me: High, how come.
Father: Umm, let's see..at lvl 1 a 3-tier living being stats is around 70 to 90 but your stats has crossed 90 points and almost reached 110 points which is almost equal to a 4-tier being.
When I knew that I my stats was equal to a 4-tier being, I was literally feeling very happy and thought maybe I am the protagonist of this world. And also if I am the protagonist than there would be my harem of beautiful girls and when thinking of beautiful girls I remembered that Saint and thought maybe she will be my first member. But my beautiful dream was shattered by my father next words,
Father: Well your stats are high for a 3-tier being and you might get strong amongst them but remember this son the people with higher tier than yours will indefinitely have an ada advantage over you. So don't get cocky just because your stats are higher than other as there are higher tier person than you and other lucky people like the nobles.
At that moment I realised that having higher stats than normal was surprising but it wasn't rare since there are countless living beings and also there are people with higher tier than mine. After hearing that I became depressed and again my father said something but this time I didn't felt depressed but instead happy.
Father: Well don't worry about such beings because if they can't upgrade up to next tier than you will be able to reach them.
Me: But, still how hard can upgrading be.
Father: Ohohoho... so do you think is it easy.
Me: Hmmm...
Father: How could you even know that.
Me: .....
Father: Well at first one people have to reach their highest level before upgrading.
Me: Highest level...???
Father: Hmmm...for a 1-tier being his highest level is 20 and similarly like this as the tier is higher they would gain 20 level more than the former until it reached lvl100 which is the highest lvl for 5-tier being.
Me: Hmm...only 5-tier, what about 6 and 7-tier.
Father: That I don't know but I know one thing that once you reach 6-tier everything changes.
Me: Everything
Father: As the rumour says, but we will probably never get their.
Me: Why.
Father: Because a person can only upgrade twice in his life.
Me:Only twice.
Father: This is the law of this world.
I was practically very very very disappointed when I heard that because this means that I would never become strong enough to dominate to this world. But, I quickly put that off as I thought what would I do after dominating when I could just live a satisfying life with my family. But still I didn't know how to upgrade so I asked again;
Me: So what happens after reaching the highest level,father.
Father: After one reached the highest level they will get an notice in his/her status card.
Me: What notice.
Father: About how to upgrade.
Me:Really.
Father: Yes, but the problem lies after that.
Me:What problem.
Father: Because the notice gives the person the items needed for him/her to upgrade.
Me: Than what's the problem.
Father: That item in itself is the problem.
Me: How come.
Father: What if the said item is the heart of the dragon.
Me:.....
Father: Not only one item but there are three items used for upgrading.
Me: Than how come one upgrade when the task is so hard.
Father: Well it differs from person to person and from tier to tier
Me: Really.
Father: Yes, one get different asked items.
Me: Than how about you father.
Father: Well I haven't got the items because it is very dangerous to get and I don't wanna die leaving you guys alone.
Me:...
Father: Don't worry about it son.
Me: Than than how does one choose his/her class.
Father: Well it also depends on tiers.
Me: How.
Father: Let's say you are 1-tier and you have very less Mp and low Mp regeneration and wanted to become a Mage, would that be even possible and even if you become one than who will be with such mage who can only use spells for 3 or 4 time and be a burden.
Me: Ohh..than what's the common classes and are there no Mage's.
Father: Well the most common classes are Swordsman,Archers,Scouts(Thief),Spearmen. And there are Mage's but to become a Mage, one of to be at least 3-tier and higher.
Me:Thank you.
Father: Hahahhha..have fun bye.
After that lengthy conservation with my father I finally understand a little about this fantasy world. But I think I missed to ask something that was really for my future development,but who cares about the things that you can't remember. Afterward nothing serious happened and we all kept doing our own works.
After 1 year of the ceremony, my father brought me an iron spear, it was nothing special but it was still made up of iron and it fucking looked great same as the one shown in movies and kept in museum. At first using the iron spear was very hard because of it mass and shape which were vastly different than the wooden spear I used but well after sometime I goy used to it.
Present time....
And now I am swinging that same spear in the backyard of my house. Compare to 1 year ago my skill of using spear has vastly increased but it was still lacking in some places, well for a kid like me it was still a great thing. And also my proficiency in using has also increased and I also learned a new skill which is called, 'Shield Bash' as the name applies it's used by bashing my shield against the opponent and it also does an stun damage which stuns the opponent for 1 second.
At first I was pretty surprised when I learned it but after asking my father about it he said that, skill can be learn by using 2 ways, one is when another skilled person teach you or you learn by accident like my situation. He also said that most pf people learn skill with the first method as this was more easy and relies in one's ability, than relying on luck to learn skill by coincidence. And it looks like my luck is not so bad.
Among all the kids in our village I am the first one to learn a skill and improve my stats, yes I improved my stats not by levelling up but by hard training and Yoga.Similarly like learning skill by my own ability and also increasing my stats I have been hailed as a genius and it felt fucking good. Well at least at the beginning but later I found out that all kids are starting to get jealous of me and are trying to make me alone, at first I felt a sad but later on thought as I don't have many interaction with them why should I care.
And as the time passed 1 year had gone after I learned my skill. My proficiency in using spear and shield has increased greatly and as for my relationship with my age group it has literally gone worse as I only focused in my training and improving my skills and proficiency in spear and shield technique and those guys seeing my improvement became even more jealous and avoided me and thus we I became even more distanced . Seeing, my situation father came and asked me to join him in his hunting.
And today is the day that I will finally get the chance to kill something and increased my level.
