The sky was becoming darker by the second , the red son was sinking in the horizon. There were clouds that soaked up the color from the sun , as well as demons heading towards them at unimaginable speeds.
' huh . '
He looked over his shoulder , and about a mile away demons were heading towards them at incredible speeds .
' Wait , Holy shit that's fast ! '

" No shit, Sherlock. "
He bolted uphill while the demons were closing the distance . He didn't get a good look at the demons , but he knew they had numbers on him .
One in particular was already half way there, but he didn't pay attention to it , he just continued to trudge uphill .

He was nearing the top of the sand hill , where he could take the high ground .
But that one demon had reached him. And he finally turned around to face the demon .
Tall , Hairless , and dangerous . This is what he saw in the demon facing him . It towered over him .
It swung it's arm toward his head with incredible speed .
He didn't have much time to react , as he ducked under the arm . He saw a opening as he pulled out his dagger .
He straightened his arms and slashed the demons midriff .
" SCCCRAAAAAAA ! " The screech of the demon made him lose his balance .
He tried to find his footing but the demon struck his abdomen . He curled up in pain , as the impact was almost enough to shatter his organs .
' What the fuck is this hell hole ? '
He tried to stand up , and look for the demon ,but the demon was already ready to strike again .
He rolled to the side as the fist of the demon bashed the floor next to him .
He again tried to stand and lifted himself once more . He looked at the demons body .
' Did the wounds heal already ! '
He grew furious and stabbed the demons stomach area . He pulled the dulling dagger out of the body and slashed its chest .
" SCRRAAAAAAAAAAA ! " Another ungodly screech was made . He continued to slash the dull dagger against the demon , who was losing balance .
The demon tackled Lavender and pinned him to the ground . The demon took a bite out of his shoulder and tried to bite his neck.
Lavender kicked the demon off of him and clutched his left shoulder hard .
His face scrunched up and he started to grow even more angry . The demon found his footing again and went in for another swing .
He rolled to the side and squatted . He examined the body of the demon again , and saw the wounds he made slowly closing up .
He striked where he left a wound again . It opened the healing wound up again , blood flowing out of it's body for the first time since their encounter.
As the demon let out another scream he struck the same wound again . He then went in for a flurry of strikes .
And the in happened , the dagger shattered inside the body of the demon . There were no other weapons in his possession .
He lunged towards the demon again , and pulled the wounds apart with his blood stained hands . He didn't have alot of stamina left and he knew he couldn't kill this demon with his fist .
There was already a deep wound , so he pulled apart the flesh of the demon and dug through it's stomach.
It's blood was like a fountain as he madly slaughtered the demon with his hands . The demon could pull him off his body and screeched for in terror .
The tear through the body reached the chest of the bleeding demon . He pulled the heart out of the demons chest , still beating , and he looked at it .
' So red , so bloody , filled with hatred and sin . Disgusting .' His eyebrows furrowed and he crushed the beating heart in his palms .
The demon came to a stop , and life left it's body like the blood it lost to 'that' . He killed his first demon of the night , and there was still more to come .

He didn't have much time to think , so he had to face these demons without a plan . He climbed up to the top of the hill , he at least wanted the high ground.
' I need to take out these demons ? With exactly what ? '

A separate tab opened for him , he wanted a new weapon to kill , particularly one that will last him a while.

The choices were easily narrowed to a small selection , but one option in particular caught his eyes .

The broken Iron dagger he held on to had repaired with a silver light , it was a blinding light that he couldn't look away from .
He looked for the demons that were heading his way , who he last saw still a mile away.
They were now less than 20 meters away from his hill . They were definitely smaller , and seemed to have lighter skin than the demon he fought .
' I'm not taking any chances , McConald's French fries type beat looking ass . '
They were almost at the summit , and he finally took a step forward . He stabbed the eyes of the demon as it attempted to hurdle itself over the hill .
He stabbed the chest of the demon as it let out a horrific screech . His ears started to bleed with the demons consistent screaming .
The dagger got stuck in it's chest , he felt the demon reaching towards it . He kicked the demon off the hill , leaving the demon to fall as he held on to the iron dagger .
He continued to swing the dagger at the demons who tried to kill him .
He was making a fortress out of this hill , no matter what happened no one else would reach the top of the hill .
' I'm getting tired , how long do I need to do this ? System ? '

The demons continued to pile towards his hill . He kept killing , and blood stained the hill . The reason he was alive was this hill .

He kept slashing at the demons , he was afraid to die alone .

The fear of death and and dying alone motivated his body to not collapse . He wanted to sleep so badly , his body demanded him to close his eyes .
All he felt was fear , he couldn't focus on anything else but his death , and how gruesome it would be .

His body felt extremely heavy , his wounds piled up . He didn't look like 18 anymore , his body lost all of the fat he gained over 3 months when he stopped working out .
Demons were growing stronger , raging at the death of another comrade .
He swung his dagger again , piercing another demon and pushing another one off his hill .
He kicked another one down and pulled out it's heart . He bit into it and spit out the blood .
The demon's body stopped moving altogether.

"* cough * , * cough *! He was about to sleep until he heard the voice of the Guidance Manual .
Blood covered his face , his hands , and his shirt was drenched crimson red . His eyes were barely staying open , and his eye bags were darker than ever before .
There were no mirrors he could access , so hey couldn't manage his appearance .
He didn't even fight like a human any more. He tore through their hearts and ripped and teared with his dagger .
He could pass for demon already .
But he didn't know that , all he was thinking of was killing every single man that opposes him . These demons didn't leave , so he continued to kill .
The sun was rising , but the slaughter didn't stop until all demons in a 2 mile radius were slaughtered by him .
A hill stained with blood was left behind and the only witness was his Guidance manual.
He fell on his back , and looked at the red sky .
" Hey system , is there any chance I can sleep right here ? "
[* I'll wake you up when I see one , just rest for now . *]

He closed his eyes as he curled up in the blood stained sand . He didn't care what it looked like , all he wanted was to sleep .
The mountains of bodys surrounded him , he wasn't disturbed by any of it . He still needed to be become a demon , but you could argue he was already one to begin with .
So the future demon slept on a hill stained with crimson red blood and a mountain of bodys that the cause of death being him and his dagger .
No Demons approached the sleeping human , as fear was instilled into them by the blood of their kin staind the area around him .

She chuckled to herself , she couldn't even win an argument against him even when he was asleep .
