'Damn this headache is killing me ' . No matter how much he loved drowning himself in alcohol he would always resent himself for drinking again .

Lavender would always swear to God he'd stop only to end up in Luna's doorstep for more . This only made him resent himself more . ' I'm a fucking idiot , a disgrace . '

Despite being miserable he never considered suicide . He had to send A-Yeong to college and attend her wedding . He was miserable but he had reasons to keep going .

It was getting harder to get up from bed . He was working a job meant for men , construction . He certainly had the figure but he was never mature enough to match his looks .

He decided to quit his job and be a Mercenary. 'I'll send her to college , take her to where she wants to go, and let her find a man she loves .' He had no say in who she married , so he prayed to whatever God's there were that she would find a handsome , rich man .

He tried to get up that morning but was pulled back down . Luna had pulled him into her embrace . He was chained to the bed , and horror was caste on his face .

' What the fuck happened last night .' His mind took over , and he tried to remember what the hell happened to him . Instead of a memory , his headache got stronger . ' fuck , bad idea . '

His priority was no longer to remember what happened last night but to get the hell out of here . But he did not have the strength to do that , and only had one more option.

' I have to wait for Luna to wake up and free me . ' He couldn't remember what happened, and he couldn't leave. He wanted to quit his job as soon as possible.

" L-Luna can you wake up please . " He didn't want to be looked at in this state . He wasn't embarrassed about his body , he was always comfortable with being exposed. But that didn't apply when he was chained up .

" Fine , fine . Can you at least stay for 15 more minutes ? " Luna had been holding him in a questionable position. He was flustered , as she exposed her body to him .

" It's not like I can leave , I promise I'll stay by your side if you can just unchain me ." He didn't want to stay in this position for long , he figured she would laugh at him .

" Don't get all romantic on me , stupid. " She held him tighter. " You can't escape responsibility , after all you just made me a mother . " She snickered at his red face .

His face was grew more red than before . He didn't intend on making a romantic remark but he clearly got the answer to what happened last night. ' Fuck ' .

Luna had climbed over him and unchained him . " Why did you have to be so rough, I might not be able to walk again . " Her face told the whole story , they had done what she was implying.

Lavender got up as soon as he was free , he stayed longer than the duration he was asked. He stared at her , and felt his heart rate speed up . ' Is this the woman I'll spend my whole life with ? ' He was relieved and overwhelmed.

He had wanted to marry her since they were 8 . But he didn't have the courage to propose, much less did he have the money to propose and take care of her . Just a decade later he had the right timing and a plan to make her happy .

He couldn't keep his eyes off her , as if she was diamond. " So , how exactly do you become a Mercenary? " He forgot to ask about the process , as he needed to still be able to earn income.

Luna turned around as if she was surprised. "So you really weren't joking around when you said you would send her to college, huh ? " She was slightly fidgeting , and it confused him .

" You invited me so I'll take you up on that offer , I'd like to stay by your side . The money is secondary. " She smiled at his remark, as if it amused her.

" You know I'm a bad cook , will you eat what I cook ? Will you cook for me when I'm sick , and will you even look my way when I call ? Her smug voice compelled him to respond in the most natural way he could.

" I mean I plan to marry you, so it would be entirely natural for me to agree and do all those things you mentioned. " His swift response caught her off guard. She expected him to be hesitant in his response .

She moved her hair away from her eyes looked away from him . " What type of shit proposal is this ? At least attempt to be serious! " She lied as naturally as she breathed .

She wanted him to propose to her every day , but he never did . The fact that he finally did made her extremely surprised and overwhelmed her .

" Ok , ok . I'll find a better da- "

" Wait ! Don't go ! No I mean , uh ... that's good enough. Jeez ... " She didn't want him to leave or to take back his proposal. " I'll go with you and help you register , then we can be Mercenaries together ! "

Lavender chuckled under his breath. He had never been so happy to go to work .

As he walked outside , he held his future wife's hand. The sky never looked more bright . He wanted it to last like this for a long time.

They arrived at his employer's office. He took a deep breath and walked in with Luna .He held her hand tightly.

He knocked on the door and waited a bit .

" Come in . "

He looked into his employer's eyes , they were cold . " Hey , Boss . Can I speak to you about something? " His voice quivered a bit . His voice was deep for a 18 year old .

" That would be just fine , Lavender . Can you also explain why there a female with you , before we continue.

" Ah , we're engaged , sir . And I'd like to ask about my resignation. " He didn't want to waste time, so he answered his questions quickly.

His employer was surprised, as he didn't know what Luna saw in a man like him ." Well then , I'd like to offer my congratulations , but about your resignation , may I ask you why ? "

" I'm becoming a Dungeon Mercenary, sir ." He gave his response quickly. " I want to be with my bride more often . "

The employer's eyebrows narrowed. " I believe you know the risk of the Dungeons , Lavender."

"This is my decision, sir ." He straightened his back . He wasn't going to back down , he did indeed want to become a Mercenary.

" I will agree to your resignation but please stay safe . The Dungeons are not a game , remember what happened to , *ahem* , 'them' ."

" I'll stay safe , sir , thank you for allowing me to resign. " He shuddered to what became of his coworkers who got bored of their jobs and became mercenaries.

" Remember to reccomend us , sonny. " They left the office and breathed in the fresh air . They were now headed toward the building that Luna's party leader , Kim Jong , lived in .

With his job behind him , all he needed was to be accepted as a Mercenary.

Who knew that the strongest Guild in the whole of Asia started out as a Mercenary Group ?
