The Day Has Come

At iTech company's main building, many of the employees seem a bit too engrossed with something on their phones. They keep glancing on it while they type on their keyboards, while some of the gamers at the ground floor are sitting together in the lobby and also watching something on their phones. Wads of money were placed on the small table, and some will scream in anguish while the rest will cheer and get the other sides money. They are quite eye-catching because of the noise they make.

This is the scene Wang Mingye saw when he stepped inside the building. The employees and the gamers stopped for a second and greeted him then they go back to what they are doing.

Wang Mingye stepped into the elevator made for him with his assistant when the moment the door closed he spoke. "What are they preoccupied with?"

His assistant quickly answered. "They are preoccupied because of the elimination made by a famous newbie to create a group."

Wang Mingye furrowed his eyebrows and asked. "Made by who?"

"Unnamed, sir." His assistant answered.

That gamer again looks like he is back and is planning to join in the tournament.

Wang Mingye thought. It would be good if I can rope him by my side.

"Let's wait until the tournament."

Ding! They reached the top floor and the door opened. Wang Mingye stepped out and headed to his office with his assistant trailing behind him.

The day finally came and it's time to register for the upcoming tournament. Feng Xiaoxi sends a message to her team's group chat. "At the XXX cafe, be there by 10 am or never."

Ping! Ping! Ping! Ping!

Feng Xiaoxi told Meng and Jess that she will be out for fresh air for a while, and she will stroll around the campus.

She sneaks out of the campus sitting on her wheelchair and went to the closest cafe.

She pushed the door open and went inside. Once, she was inside she smells the smell of coffee and pastries. She headed towards the toilet and locked the door of the cubicle she is in. She opened her backpack and took out a set of men's clothing. She changed into it and tied her hair. She pulled out a wig from the bag and wear it before putting a black cap. In front, the word 'QUEEN' in white was written in bold letters on the cap.

She went out of the cubicle and found a six-year-old outside looking at her with wide eyes. Ignoring the kid, she left her wheelchair and put on a sign on the door of the cubicle saying 'Out of order' then she walked her way out of the place with her lips curved upwards.
