3 Chapter 3

Opening my eyes, I found that 'Master' had broken through to Foundation Establishment now, which surprised me slightly but I had already expected her to breakthrough to Foundation Establishment sometime soon.

'Master' opens her eyes and I can see the satisfaction inside of them when she opened them. The only thing I am stupefied at is that 'Master' definitely went to sleep instead of cultivating, so how the heck did she breakthrough?

"Master, how did you breakthrough when you were sleeping?"

"Well, I can cultivate in my sleep, so that is how."

'Master' smugly said, making my mouth twitch momentarily at her antics, and then she ignores me as she makes herself food again with ingredients that once again appeared out of nowhere. Seriously, is the Dragon God just throwing out ingredients to her or something?

"An Xiao, let's go. Me and Yun Feng made a meeting for today, so let's go and see him."

'Master' said after she finished eating. I could see that she was excited to see Yun Feng, meaning she is probably falling in love with him somehow, even though they only met once. This is the one thing I don't understand about those novels back on Earth.

How can the protagonists even fall in love after one meeting? It just doesn't make any sense. Heck, he took advantage of her the first time they met! Shaking my head, I sink into the shadows and follow behind 'Master' as she leaves the house.

'Master' seemed to want to sneak out so as to avoid being stopped by the people of the An residence, so she sneakily went over the wall near the house, and since her house is in a desolate area, there are naturally no guards on this side of the wall, allowing 'Master' so easily leave the residence without being noticed.

"Let's see. He said to meet at the Tianzi Pavilion, but where is that exactly?"

"Master, the Tianzi Pavilion is towards the East of the city."

'Master' didn't bother asking how I knew this without any memories of my life, which works for me as I just asked the System about the location. She then starts walking through the streets of the Imperial City and nobody bothers looking at her much as she has a mask covering her face, like most woman in this world do.

After a few minutes of walking, we finally reach the Tianzi Pavilion and 'Master' simply walks inside and nobody bother stopping her for some reason, most likely having something to do with Yun Feng that brat.

Almost instantly after we get into the Tianzi Pavilion, a servant comes over to us and guides us to a room, most likely with Yun Feng inside. The servant then stands outside of the door, meaning he is one of Yun Feng's men.

'Master' simply opens the door to the room and enters with me following behind her in the shadows, and sure enough, Yun Feng is sitting on one of the chairs inside of the room, twirling a glass of wine in his hands while smirking towards 'Master'.

"You came."

"En. Took me a while to find this place though. Choose an easier place to locate next time."

'Master' sullenly says after sitting down, and Yun Feng this brat quickly shifts her onto his lap, which stunned 'Master' into freezing. He lowered his head and was about to steal her lips once again, but as if he remembered something, he stopped just as their lips were about to meet and kissed her forehead instead.

"This brat didn't kiss her lips, at least. Still, he is damn shameless to hold 'Master' like that all of the sudden, freezing her up.'

Looking at 'Master' who is frozen in confusion and shock, I can only sigh and shake my head since she said not to kill Yun Feng if he does something to her, so I can only grumble in the shadows as 'Master' finally snaps out of it as a blush appears on her face.

She tried to struggle out of his embrace for a while, but he didn't let her go and held onto her waist tightly, snugly keeping her in his embrace. Finally, 'Master' simply gave up and ignored him to eat some of the good food on the table.

"So, what did you want to meet today for?"

'Master' asks after stuffing her mouth with some sweets off of the table, which were most likely specially prepared for her as Yun Feng didn't touch any of them until now, and he has probably been here for a while.

"I just wanted to be around you. Is that a good enough reason?"

Yun Feng said as he breathed lightly into 'Master's' left ear while leaning his chin on her shoulder, making her face turn red again. He seemed satisfied seeing 'Master's' red face as he pulled his head back off of her shoulder.

Like so, they spend a few hours inside the Tianzi Pavilion and Yun Feng brought up strolling around the Imperial City, and 'Master' agreed, so 'Master', Yun Feng, me and Yun Feng's shadow guards all stroll around the Imperial City.

Yun Feng led 'Master' to all sorts of places around the city, and bought her quite a few clothes here and there after noticing her worn out and older clothes that she was wearing due to the An family not liking her at all.

'Master' had wanted to refuse at first, but after some persuading by Yun Feng she ended up agreeing to it, and he happily purchased her dozens of outfits to wear, which he then stuffed into 'Master's' storage ring, not bothering where the so-called trash of the An residence obtained a storage ring from.

When 'Master' was about to depart and leave to go back home, Yun Feng pulled her with him into a carriage that stopped near them, and brought her with him to the Royal Palace. Seeing this, I was curious about what he was up to and didn't bother stopping him since I can protect 'Master' from anybody in this Imperial City anyways.

'Master' also didn't resist as she wanted to see what was going on inside the Royal Palace for Yun Feng to suddenly drag her over to it. Yun Feng didn't explain to her and just kept playing with her fingers while inside the carriage while smiling.

The carriage stopped shortly after and they got off of it, and Yun Feng guided 'Master' with him into the Royal Palace, guiding her towards a large hall inside of the palace. I scanned ahead with my powers and noticed that there were about a hundred or more people inside the large hall they are going to, making me wonder what is going on.

After they step into the large hall, it instantly quietens down as the guests inside stop bantering with each other and look over to Yun Feng who is dragging 'Master' with him. Since her face is covered by a mask, nobody can tell who it is, but they can tell she is probably pretty. Not to mention she is being pulled along by the Seventh Prince Yun Feng!

They ignore the reactions of the guests inside of the hall and Yun Feng sits down on a seat at the end of the hall, sitting 'Master' down beside him while telling the servants to bring some light food and sweets and tea for them to eat.

After a while, a eunuch walks into the large hall, announcing the arrival of the king and queen, making me really wonder what the heck Yun Feng dragged 'Master' into with out her knowing anything.

Everybody quickly knelt down in greetings towards the king and queen, well nearly everybody as Yun Feng and 'Master' both didn't bother kneeling down for the king and queen, making many people within the hall to gasp at their boldness.

'Heh. As if 'Master' needs to bow down to a mere Nascent Soul cultivator and his wife. Heck, if Yun Feng that brat made her kneel down to them I would of slapped him in the back of the head then and there.'

Seeing as how Yun Feng didn't have 'Master' kneel down to them, I started to have better feelings towards him. Well, I still dislike him acting all shameless with 'Master' but he is getting a better impression of me nonetheless.

In the end, neither the king nor queen seemed to care about them not kneeling down, making me raise my eyebrows in wonder, wondering what exactly Yun Feng has that makes them not demand respect from him.

I can tell that they don't love him so much that he doesn't need to kneel, as I could see the loathe and distaste in their eyes towards him, meaning he has something that makes them ignore his actions like this.

It can't be his mere Golden Core cultivation, as there are numerous royal guards who have cultivation at Golden Core, so it is probably something else. As I am wondering what Yun Feng has backing him like this, the hall gets noisy as something happened.

Looking over, I can see the girl who bullied 'Master' before glaring at another young girl who has a light smile on her face. I can see some spilled tea on the dress of the bully girl as she glared at the other one, probably meaning the other girl spilled the tea on her or something.

After a while the mess gets fixed and the party resumed itself once again. Finally, after an hour, the main event of this stupid party came and many of the young men in the hall perked up while most of the young girls in the hall seemed to be sneaking glances at the princes every now and then.

I suddenly understood that this was one of those match making parties that large clans ad royalty love to do, which made me glare at Yun Feng for bringing 'Master' here, and he suddenly shivered as he felt a cold chill on the back of his neck.

Looking around, he didn't notice anything so he wondered if he was hallucinating, so he focused on the event again, ignoring the chill he just had for seemingly no reason. It seems he forgot about me and how I nearly broke his neck before and thought it was nothing.

Well, let's see how this plays out. If something detrimental to 'Master' appears because of Yun Feng this brat, see if I don't skin a layer of his skin. I might not be able to kill him because 'Master' said not to, but I can sure as heck beat him up!
