2 Chapter 2

I felt that 'Master' was about to wake up, so I opened my eyes and stood up near her bed, waiting for her to wake up. She woke up a few minutes later, not seeming to be surprised when she saw me standing next to her bed.

"Good morning... Right, I forgot you don't know your name. Should I give you one?"

"If you wish to do so, Master."

She put a thoughtful expression on her face and began thinking about what name she should give me. Looking at her like that made me hope she won't give me a stupid name, like people in novels normally do.

"Then, I will just name you An Xiao then."

'Thank god she didn't give me a stupid name.'

"Thank you for the name, Master."

I thanked her while feeling relieved for the normal name. 'Master' nodded her head in satisfaction seeing me not mind her name, which I honestly didn't. I am just glad she didn't give me a weird name.

"Good. Also, can you act as a shadow guard for me? I don't want people from my family questioning me about where I got you and all that, so only appear if I am in danger."

"Understood."

I then suddenly felt someone coming to the house, so I quickly disappeared from the spot and entered the shadow. Thankfully I made a wish earlier where I could freely enter the shadows without anybody being able to detect me for situations like this.

I already expected that 'Master' would ask something like this, since it would be really weird for her to suddenly get a strong person to be her slave out of nowhere, so it would make her family wonder where she got me from.

And then problems would arise and 'Master' would probably fight with her family and so on, which would just be annoying. A few moments after I disappeared, the door burst open and a young girl around 13 came inside with an arrogant look on her face.

"An Jiwei you trash, how dare you chase after His Highness the Crown Prince! I will beat you!"

She suddenly lunged at 'Master' and began punching 'Master's' body while 'Master' didn't even bother blocking or attacking back as she is supposed to be trash so it would be weird for her to suddenly attack back for no reason.

After a while, 'Master' is all bruised and bloody before the young girl is finally satisfied and left with an arrogant look on her face, similar to how she arrived. After she left, I appeared back in front of 'Master' and stood in front of her.

"Damn, luckily I just entered Qi Gathering last night, or else I would probably be crippled after that. An Xiao, do you have any pills that can heal me or something else?"

'I wish to have a bottle of healing pills.'

I nod my head and wave my hand, causing a bottle of 12 pills to appear. I hand the bottle to 'Master' and she opens it and swallows one of the pills inside, and her injuries began healing at a rate visible to the naked eye.

As expected of pills from my wishes, they are indeed overpowered. 'Master' also seemed to be shocked at how fast she healed with one pill, but she just thought it was a high grade pill that True Immortal cultivators would normally have.

"Master, why did you allow her to beat you like that?"

"I am supposed to be the trash of the family. If I suddenly fought back and beat her up, wouldn't it cause my family to be suspicious? I can't have them attack me before I get strong enough to fight back against them."

"Then, does Master wish for me to go and kill her?"

"No need, let her wait until I am strong enough and I will deal with her on my own."

'Master' just waves her hand and stops me from talking. I really don't understand people of novels like this. They have powerful people under them that could just go and kill their enemies for them, but they always want to deal with them on their own.

It really makes me confused, but since I am currently her 'slave' I just listen to her commands. Master sits down on her bed and begins cultivating, and I can feel a weird presence coming from inside of her body when she does, making me confused.

'System, what is this presence I am feeling inside of her body?'

[Creator is feeling the presence of the God Beast Dragon God. An Jiwei transmigrated to this world due to obtaining a certain book, and inside the book was the Dragon God who protects it, and since An Jiwei was bound to the book, the Dragon God is technically her Spirit Beast.]

'I see, no wonder I felt a strong presence inside of her body. Still, why does it feel weakened?'

[Creator is correct. The Dragon God is greatly weakened and only has the strength of a Nascent Soul cultivator right now. Due to traveling between worlds, it was weakened. Unless An Jiwei finds some rare treasures to heal it, it will probably take a few hundred to thousand years for it to fully heal.]

'I see. Well, I might wish for some of those treasures in the future if I like this Dragon God. If not, 'Master' will have to find them by herself.'

'Master' suddenly groaned and her cultivation suddenly jumped from Qi Gathering Low to Peak in one go, making even me shocked. As expected of a cheat character from a novel like world! Jumping to the peak of a cultivation rank just like that.

'Master' then opened her eyes and seemed unsatisfied with her cultivation, probably wondering why she couldn't enter Foundation Establishment when she is already at the Peak of Qi Gathering, which made even my mouth twitch slightly.

'Master' then stood up and left the house, and I followed after her in the shadows, wondering what she is going to do now. After a while, we see the young girl who beat 'Master' earlier with another girl who is around the same age as her near a lake walking.

'Master' suddenly had a grin on her face as she picked up a rock, and she threw it at the feet of the young girl beside the one who beat her, causing her to trip and she coincidentally began falling towards the lake.

She grabbed for something and ended up grabbing on the sleeve of the young girl who beat 'Master' dragging her with her into the lake. 'Master' then left the spot and sat on top of a wall near a tree, watching the show.

I stayed in the shadows as I watched 'Master' laugh to herself at the situation she caused, feeling that she is quite interesting. I saw a man around 18 appear on the other side of the wall, watching 'Master' closely in interest.

'Master' didn't seem to notice him and I felt no need to tell her as he isn't doing anything but watching her. 'Master' then looked in his direction as if she felt something looking at her, and she saw the man looking at her with a smile on his face, causing her to frown.

'Master' mouths "Seen enough?" to him and the man mouths back "Not yet" which makes 'Master' annoyed. The man then beckons her over to him with her hand, making 'Master' annoyed and look away.

She then suddenly found herself in the arms of the man, which surprised her but not me. I could already tell that this man was at Golden Core Mid Stage, so he is much stronger than 'Master' who is only at Qi Gathering Peak Stage.

They then talked about having a bet of whether or not people would discover the two in the lake or not, with 'Master' betting they won't and him betting they will. Eventually, the tree beside the lake was set on fire suddenly, and people began crowding over to the lake.

Seeing this, 'Master' glared at the man and called him a cheater, and he laughed shamelessly and said she didn't say anything about not doing something like this. 'Master' then asked what he wanted since he won the bet and he suddenly kissed her on the lips, stunning her.

Seeing this, I appeared behind the man with my hand on his throat. He seemed to be stunned and 'Master' also snapped out of her daze from the kiss. As I was about to snap his throat, 'Master' quickly stopped me.

"An Xiao, stop!"

I stopped right when I was about to snap his throat, looking at 'Master' in confusion. Why did she tell me to stop? I know after reading novels that girls in this type of world hate people who take advantage of them like this.

"Don't kill him. He won the bet, and it is just a kiss. Go back."

I look at 'Master' for a moment and then glare at the man before disappearing back into the shadows. I felt quite confused at why I suddenly felt mad that he just kissed her like that, which ended up with me about to kill him.

'System, why did I suddenly act like that?'

[Creator acted like that due to the good feelings Creator has for An Jiwei.]

'Good feelings? Why do I suddenly have good feelings for her when I just met her yesterday?'

[I am not sure, Creator. It might be due to God doing something neither of us can detect.]

'I see.'

The man still had cold sweat on his forehead, scared at his sudden near death situation. 'Master' explained to him that I am her shadow guard and seeing him kiss her like that made me think he was attacking her and so I appeared.

Although the wording was a bit weird, that is pretty much how it went. The man then introduced himself as Yun Feng. 'Master' seemed to know who he was as she said 'Seventh Prince?' and Yun Feng laughed as he nodded.

'Master' didn't seem to be surprised, as there aren't many people around her age who are stronger than her. Since Yun Feng could cause her to suddenly appear in his arms without her realizing it, he must of been strong naturally. Seventh Prince Yun Feng is already in Golden Core, so he is naturally stronger than her.

They talked for a while and eventually ended up becoming friends, which I don't understand how that happened. Still, it seems to of been a good thing as 'Master' seemed to of changed after she obtained him as a friend, so it is good.

'Master' then went back home since it was already pretty late and is already after lunch. It seems that 'Master' and Yun Feng talked with each other for at least 4 hours. 'Master' seemed to be hungry so she decided to go home to eat.

Once we were back inside the house, I appeared again in front of 'Master'. She ignored me and made herself some food to eat with the ingredients she had in her house. I was confused where the ingredients came from, but I figured it was from the Dragon God inside of her.

"Master, why did you stop me from killing him? He kissed you for no reason."

"An Xiao, don't speak about killing him again. He is my friend now, so I don't want to hear you speak about killing him again. Also, it is just a kiss. It doesn't matter much anyways. It isn't like he had sex with me."

"Understood, Master."

My mouth twitch slightly when she said he didn't have sex with her, but I quickly hid it and 'Master' didn't notice. She then ate the food she just made and it seemed to taste good as she ate it with a smile on her face. Either that or she was thinking about something she liked.

"An Xiao, do you have something you can use to hide your face? Although you are always in the shadows, if you appear in the future like earlier it would be annoying if someone saw your beautiful face."

"I do."

I then wished for a black mask that can hide my whole face expect for my eyes, and 'Master' seemed satisfied with it. I had wanted to get a mask on my face earlier anyways, so this works for me either way. The only reason I didn't get one on earlier was due to the slave thing and so on.

'Master' then ignored me and sat on her bed again, probably trying to breakthrough to Foundation Establishment. Seeing her like this, I just sat on the ground in the corner and close my eyes as if I was cultivating but I am just resting out of boredom.
