137 To Kill Escanor!

'Wait for a second! It is too much to take.' I couldn't help but stop Crow in the middle of his sentence. So the God Race were ruled by an Empire, and the Prince betrayed his father, the Emperor because he was jealous of his sister, the Princess. In the end, he killed his Father, and his Sister, Princess ran away with demonized Gods and her situation was unknown. But the current situation at the Upper Realm was different than the story, there was no prince, no sovereign. There was council ruling the Upper Realm with the military force, Desolates.

"After I became a system, the Aristocracy started the second phase of the plan. The Demon Race fend of by the Desolates, and Prince started to rule this world. Yet he was weak. Weaker than most of the race, thus his throne wasn't safe. He had to power up, and he went after the Stealing System. That system was the confidence made him to rebel.

After Aristocracy get rid of the Scholars, the Seven System gathered and the prince wanted to use seven of them to rule the Multiverse. As soon as the prince used the Stealing System, he died miserably. It was a great shock to all Upper Realm. The Aristocracy betted all their hopes on prince but the prince died just like that, the Upper Realm lost their ruler, and there was chaos everywhere. The Shadows were demonized, and there was no one could prevent civil war.

It was hard for everyone, especially for Community. They always supported the Emperor, because he was a kind man as well, thus his death was a heavy blow to the Community. Yet at this moment they had to step up. They didn't fight for the throne, they just wanted to create a stable system. They suggested a council deciding the fate of the Upper Realm. The Desolates supported this suggestion because, with the Emperor's death, their authority skyrocketed. With strongest factions supporting it, the others supported it as well.

The Aristocracy put all blame to Scholars for creating a weapon can demonize Gods, and a system killed the prince, even cause him to kill his Father. A new faction, Contrarians created from scions, mostly nices and nephews of the Emperor. Admirers were controlled by the Aristocracy because every faction could have two representatives in the council. Soon a new system started to run, while I was a mere system, no one else knew my past, all they knew that I was different from the others. Thus, I had more freedom, I even chose not to go with anyone and waited for thousand years to Adapt System to appear."

'But, what is so special about Adapt System? It is not as strong as the Stealing System, even Sharing System is way better.' The Fatty told me he used the sharing system to get countless DNA from the world he traveled. He could use them freely to boost his power. And with the Stealing System, Joker swooped clean the DC universe with his mastermind. How could I compare with these two monsters?

"I don't know either. I placed all my trust to that old freak, and now I am as clueless as you. But the changes happened in the System is obvious don't you think?" Crow said while I started to negotiate with Joker.

On the Arena, five months later, after Hitomi killed Gold Coin, Escanor summoned to the stage. He was weak and skinny. The sun set a few minutes ago, and the opponent, the announcer called earlier was weakest of the Aristocracy. This was clearly a humiliation for Escanor, the strongest of the Community.

Escanor walked to the stage, he was calm as ever. His opponent was grinning, and dreaming how he was going to kill his opponent, the strongest of the Community. When he was first told to fight against Escanor, he was scared out of his wits. He once saw how domineering Escanor was. He killed his opponent with a single flick of his finger. But after they explained Escanor weakness, and how he was going to fight in the night, this man understood and heaved a sigh of relief.

Escanor is Lion's Sin of Pride of the Seven Deadly Sins World. He is renowned for gaining immense power during the day, and gradually becoming weaker with the setting of the sun, leaving him frail and submissive at night. His Sacred Treasure is the Divine Axe, Rhitta. His inherent power is named Sunshine.

Escanor has a mustache and a pair of glasses. Escanor's attire is a suit commonly worn by bartenders and although slightly baggy, does appear to fit his weak form far better. He temporarily wore glasses to seal his powers. His lion symbol is on his back.

Escanor's personality changes drastically along with his strength between day and night. At night, he is skittish, submissive and unfailingly polite. Whereas in the day he is arrogant, boastful, and domineering, he also takes it upon himself to deliver judgment to those he feels have sinned, such as those that toy with feelings. Both personalities seem to be truly him, and he remembers everything he does in either, though at night he has chastised himself for losing control during the day.

Despite the great contrast, there are some personality traits he retains day or night. Even with his prideful personality he still cares for his comrades but in his own way.

During the day, Escanor's pride and attitude is such that he never holds hatred in his heart to anyone, even Demons, as he does not hold hatred to those beneath him, he only pities them. His pride also does not seem to prevent him from acknowledging the strength of others.

The Aristocracy learned Escanor's secret via Divine Item. Normally it was very well kept secret from even in the Community, but with the Book of Mimir. One time only Divine Item, can tell everything about the person if the user has the DNA of the person, and with countless sacrifice, the Aristocracy acquired a blood of the Escanor and used it to peek at his secrets, thus learned his weakness. At this tournament, they wanted nothing more than kill Escanor...
