54 Hear my edict!

I sit on one of the rooftops on the island. This Island called by Sacrum Terra. Holy Land of the Templars. They sent to this very island when they transferred to this world. And for more than five years they trained in this very island before they posted all over the world.

At first, they alienated by the island folk, the Yin Eaters. Yin Eaters were nocturnal people. They would worship to the moon, and this island had Yin energy reserve coming from depths of the World. Templars made abodes all over the jungle, but Yin Eaters were harassing them. Lord of the Templars, Ventus Sanctus, one day accidentally ate a Devil Fruit and started to push Yin Eaters back, then genocide their race.

After a few years, Templars completed their training and infiltrate to various places in this World. To this date, they learned all the techniques they could learn and used all the resources to nurture their young Templars. There are a total of 100 Templars, ate a Devil Fruit with the help of Marines, to this date. And this is only material help, they used.

I stood on the rooftop to look down on the Island. There was a Church at the center of the Island, and it was as big as a palace. There were lots of people walking in the streets, even when it was close to midnight. I would have surprised with the sight, in front of me, but I already learned from the Templar I interrogated, this Island was open for visit, also had great festivals all year long. As people seen multiple worlds, Templars knew how to entertain people and the significance of the tourism, it seems.

The place I wanted to go, was a big courtyard filled with guards. There stood 20 guards watching the area they were going to hold the meeting, and blocking anybody from coming in. I used my newly developed technique. When I first hit by, Luffy's Conqueror's Haki, I had an epiphany. I wanted to test it immediately but, first I was there as Madara, and couldn't show my Fruit power. Secondly, I wasn't able to use Conqueror's Haki willingly yet.

I accept this is the long arm coincidence, for me to come upon Devil Fruit I ate. Because except me, no one could use this Fruit as I use. For use to this Devil Fruit, one has to be in one-meter proximity with the target. When the victim left from this proximity, the Devil Fruit effect would vanish. But, if the target leaves this one-meter vicinity because of the Devil Fruit effect, the last edict would still work.

When I first hit by Luffy's Conqueror's Haki, I had a thought to combine this two forces. Conqueror's Haki itself was able to force people with the weak will to do simple things. My Devil Fruit had similar effects. The only problem was, to make my Devil Fruit work, I had to use my voice, and say out loud 'Hear my edict!'. At that point, my Zhengi Telepathy kicks in. I could use my Zhengi Telepathy as the middle to transmit my edicts to the target. In this way, I could make victims to obey my commands. As long as the demand force them out of my one-meter proximity, the effect of the Devil Fruit wouldn't vanish.

"Hear my edict! Turn to the closest wall and don't notice me. Stay in that positions ten hours." I gave my order to 20 guards waiting in the courtyard, with Zhengi Telepathy. I walked from front door to all the way the house in the court. There should be around five Templar executives tonight to discuss next moves. I walked in through the front door. The people inside didn't get suspicious because the door opened. There were 20 guards, and they were walking in or out from time to time.

I find my way to the six auras I felt, even before I walked in. They were arguing about their Lord.

"How can a mere child force us to this point? His Lord must be given him unique artifacts. But our Lord only gave us one Duke Item, and only Lord can use it."

"How can you talk about our Lord like this. He must have his plans. How can you a mere human comprehend what the Lord is thinking?"

"Yes! Go, and beg forgiveness for your sins or Gods will smite you."

"You all know, the smite comes from Duke Item, Leaders holds, right? Lord doesn't punish us. He doesn't even reward us. We are not his chosen, we are his cleaners. He has this pet girl getting all quests. We are here to clean the seas so his champion wouldn't encounter strong enemies she can't handle." said the first one.

"Audacious!"

"Presumptuous!"

The five other jumped from their sits and shouted to the first one.

"You all know, what I said is true. Lord used us to help his Champion, and now he is targeted by other Gods for it. Another God, sent Hitomi to deal with us, and we all will die in his hands to warn the Upper Realm to play it by the books."

What is he talking about, Crow? What is it with the playing it by the books.

"There are some unwritten rules among the Gods. To help a champion, if you send an army, other Gods can intervene with their Champions. When you got to the Upper Realm, you will learn better. Finish them before you get caugt."

I jumped in with astonishing speed and targeted five of them with Very Good Sword, and let Jon out to deal with the rebellion one. He was the strongest among them. Jon ate his heart right away, and before he returned to the Pendant released a Holy Light to aid me. My Sword filled with Yang Energy and I cut through even their phantom forms. It was easy.

They were distracted! Otherwise, an even surprise attack wouldn't work. I walked to the rebellious Lord to take his rings. I felt the similar aura with Wrinkled Old Man and Aquilo's storage rings. It was the same in shape but had green clouds inside the jewel on top of it. It was giving the feeling like walking in the forest. As soon as my finger touched the ring, I heard a familiar women voice in my head.

"The ring in Esteemed User's warehouse should be exchanging immediately, or the deal will be canceling. The countdown started for 10 seconds."

Now, this is interesting. Earlier you said, I can take my time and think as long as I don't look inside the ring. I always thought it was related something inside the ring. But now, when I was about to acquire another alike Ring, you are on edge. Are these ring set? Are they forming a fabulous Item? Crow, do you know it?

"I never saw them, but I can feel the energy inside of the rings. They are not at the Baron Level, but the combine them, make an excellent item, even Duke Level can't reach."

I thought so. Shop God is trying to force me to hand it one piece, so when I acquire other Rings, I couldn't feel the link. I thought Shop God is helping me.

"Either this item is too precious comparing to your help, or he thinks you don't need this item. Either way, it may be good to give some face to Shop God."

If he asked me directly, without concealing it, I would consider to give him. But now, he lost his chances.
