31 Even In The World Goverment!

I was on Btala Island, in South Blue. There was a festival going on last three days to celebrate and welcome the Spring. Spring would last 6 months on this island, while autumn would last 2 months. The other 4 months was Summer, and there was no Winter. The weather was nice and I was getting lazy again. There were all kinds of food, drinks, and entertainments. I tried everything and I was getting used to it. Of course glutton, Jon was out all the time. We were having fun, but on the third day, the last day of the festival, the Agent from World Government come forward and made an announcement.

"The World Government will hold a tournament and the winner of the tournament will be rewarded with Devil Fruit. The Fruit is unknown, it will depend on the winner's luck. The top 20 will be honored to take as a new recruit to trained by us to serve World Government!"

Interesting.

"What is that? Did you see, Templar sign?" Crow asked.

They said, the top 20 will be honored to take as a new recruit, they didn't say they will be given chance. They are planning to take them doesn't matter if they agree or not.

I lined up with other hundreds of people and started to wait. Devil Fruit was a good reward and everybody wanted to try it for themselves. I took hour me to sign up. There were more than 200 applicants. Every applicant is given a paper with a number. We were told every two number has to fight between themselves and eliminate half of these people. 1 fight with 2, 3 with 4, 5 with 6 so on and so forth. I had the paper with number 129. I had to fight with applicant holder number 130. The holder of the number 130 was a woman with an elegant body. She had a longsword behind her. When it was our turn, she jumped to the fighting ground.

Onlooker mans all whistled and praised her beauty.

"I would be willing die after I spend 1 night between her legs." one of the middle-aged man said. Before he could understand whats happening his tongue was forced out and cut with sharp knife. While he was squirm on the ground, a handsome man looked alike woman on stage turn to the men and said: "If you want to join him, keep talking."

"He is Durwin 'Golden Hair' Fane. He won in last round with just looking his opponent.

"Yes, I saw it too. His opponent was Rutley Nightmare. Biggest thug in the next town. He was intimidated just by a look and admit defeat."

"They are not from town. They must be sister and brother."

I went to the stage but could hear what they were talking. These two sisters and brother are strong. When I went to stage girl nod me and said "Lillie Alford Fane. Please guide me."

She was very nice. "Minato. Please guide me." I also said. She had a long figure, around 185 cm. Black long hair braid herringbone, all the way her sacrum. Dark Blue eyes like evening sky, red lips. I didn't want to give away my identity as Ninja so I don't plan to use any ninjutsu if I don't have to.

With my two weapons tip touching each other pointing target, I dived as crow wanted to drill. Lillie sidestepped and swing her sword, aiming my torso. It was fast and precise. I used my sword to block it and hit her with my leg, as I was still falling. I kicked her on the abdomen, she staggered a few steps back, I landed to the ground and used 5th stance. Holding my sword and sheath parallel to the ground on my right and dashed forward aiming at her neck. She holds nodachi straight and blocked my attack. She was looking calm. She pushed my sword and swing her sword my torso parallel to the ground. I bend my self backward, and when sword passes by me I put my hand to the ground and kicked her in the face with 2 feet. Her nose started to bleed and fall to the ground. I raised and fly to finish her off, her brother spoke. "That is enough. Lily admit defeat." Her brother spoke from the sideline.

"Yes, brother!" she hurriedly said "I admit defeat. Thank you for your guidance." she went off the stage. All onlookers were staring at me with piercing eyes.

"Couldn't you hold yourself, pretty boy?"

"Blondie, did you have to hit her face?"

I got angry and couldn't hold myself "You piece of shits! Do you want me to insult a warrior with holding myself? Do you have honor?" Lillie trembled and turn to look at me with a sincere nod and walked to her brother. I got off the stage and closed my eyes again, waiting for my next fight...
