139 Before the Big Day!

Kako, the second strongest of the Aristocracy was an Undead. He was living bones. His bones were black, and it was so hard. His eye sockets were shining with red light. He was from a World originated from a game. The game called "Divinity: Original Sins" It was a magic related game, and there were countless skills.

There were even chance to become a divine of the World, and probably Kako became Divine before he went to the other worlds, so his power is without a doubt, strong. Hitomi played this game before and it was even one of his favorites. Also, there was another point making Kako dangerous that most of the worlds located nearby have the same attributes. For example, as a fantasy game Divinity, would be close to another game containing fantasy powers, for example, Skyrim. From the information, Hitomi gathered, Kako already visited the Skyrim world, Witcher World and another dozen of the magic related world, and became the Overlord of those World, gathering everything he could gather.

Still, Kako wasn't the strongest champion of the Aristocracy, he was second strongest. The strongest was none other than Joker, and his whereabouts were at the moment was unknown. Even his lord couldn't locate him, even though his master was also away from the eyes of others, Aristocracy said Joker's Master didn't know his whereabouts. But there were rumors saying that some of the low level and middle-level Gods went missing in these few days.

With these two things put together, some of the Gods thought about something they feared dearly. At the beginning of the time, when the seven system distributed, some said Stealing System shouldn't be given to the Champions, because it was even strong enough to kill Gods, and in the retrospect, could even effect Gods. And now, there were too many people thinking that Joker rebelled and stealing power from Gods to rule over the Multiverse.

Joker's master, strongest of the Aristocracy, the mastermind of the Rebellion of Prince, the man caused Emperor to die, and Workers to rise to the top, the Overseer God, the God used to work hardest. His job was to control the Workers and plan everything related, but at that time, he made prince to rebel, made him give an order to Scholars for Demonizer Weapon, even did his best to acquire Stealing System. This man was dangerously smart, that is why he always thought he could handle Joker.

It was unknown if he planned to kill prince as well because after he acquired stealing system, he had time to use it for himself. He claimed he was loyal to the prince, thus pass it over without coveting it, yet there were too many didn't even believe in him. Most of the Old Gods knew how to fox this man was, and always wary of him.

But these were all rumors, and there were too many still thought Joker would never do so. Especially Aristocracy had absolute trust towards to Overseer God, and never would doubt his wits.

Escanor and Kako stood against each other, while five Gods created a screen of protection barrier especially for Escanor. Kako had too many skills, while Escanor had absolute strength. And this wasn't their first encounter, but the last one was interrupted thus both of them had immense battle intent towards each other.

Escanor had Rhitta, his holy weapon. Kako, on the other hand, had a specter. Hitomi saw that it was from Divinity world with poison attribute, and enchanted in the Skyrim world with lots of extra ability. Its powers were immense.

"You are not my match. Scram!" Escanor said without looking at Kako. He disdained of this bone man.

"Aren't you bit arrogant?" a horsy voice filled the surroundings, a cold wind started to spin on the stage.

"I am Sin of Pride, Escanor. What do you think?" Escanor said nonchalantly.

Kako created a cold wind to freeze his opponent to make his movement slower. Yet the Escanor was sun itself, the cold wind, the surrounding, space itself started to shatter from the heat. Even the scepter in the hand of Koka started to heat up. But Kako was undead, and he wouldn't feel a little bit of heat.

Escanor vanished and punched Kako on the face, but Kako defended it with his arm. Everybody thought the arm would shatter but it didn't. It was ludicrously strong. Escanor punched a few times more, but it did nothing at all.

"Payback!" Kako smiled and spout out two words. It was a move to stuck up the damage, and send it to the opponent back. It was very effective against psychical attacks. All of the attack power Escanor unleashed a few seconds ago unleashed on him. Escanor sent flying and coughed mouthful of blood.

"A skill to send my attacks back to me." Escanor walked to the Kako while clearing dust on his body.

"How do you like it?" Kako smiled as his eyes flashed.

"As expected of my attacks, they were immensely strong." (Escanor is one of my favorite characters, and this sentence itself is enough to love him. It used in original series, and I wanted to use it on the novel too.)

Kako's eyes flashed again indicating his anger, and he unleashed an attack with water. He knew Escanor had the power of the sun, thus he had to attack him with negative, cold and dark. A rain started to pour down, and all of a sudden strong freeze beams fall on to Escanor, but Escanor already formed a small sun on his hand. It was his "Cruel Sun" attack. The Sun on his hand destroyed the freeze beam, even the rain clouds vaporized instantly and Escanor sent the sun to Kako.

Kako teleported behind Escanor back and poked him with the scepter, but it was ineffective. Escanor's body was way too hard for such an attack. Kako tried few more attack, lightning, freeze beams, fire beams, water type attacks, all didn't even effect Escanor. Actually, the only time he got hurt was because of his own attack.

In the end, Kako defeated, and before he died, Gods pulled him out from the protective screen. The Gods were looking at Escanor with killing intent but didn't do anything. "Next match, Joker vs Weas." a God announced.

"I concede." the Weas guy was one of the champions from Aristocracy.

"How can you concede. Joker is not even here! And how can this be the coincidence?" Fatty shouted.

"Impudent! You are not qualified to question our calls." another God called.

"Next Match, Joker vs Slos!" previous God called.

"I concede." the Slos guy also concede, without even stepping to the stage.

"Preliminary fights over. Tomorrow will be the finals. Dismiss." Gods announced and started to walk away, as everyone blinded, except Hitomi. He was watching Gods walk away.

"Let's go. Tomorrow is the big day!" Hitomi said as he started to walk. Fatty and Escanor soon caught up...
