One

A swordsman, who been a wander, for many years, and years, never having any ambitions at all, till a faithful day, he met a kid, having no idea what trouble would bring him, at all, he decided to go along with it at all.

The kid had been causing trouble in town, but really they were beating him up.

"Get out of here unless you wanna get decked." His raspy voice spoke.

"Ah! Run for your life!" The kids shouted.

The swordsman walks away, as the kid followed.

"Go, home to where you belong, child." His raspy voice spoke again.

"I'm not a child, I'm a prince, have you know." The child spoke.

"That's even worse." His voice muttered, "I don't want anything to do with the capital again, left for a reason."

"Well I have to bring you, You're the one who saved me." The child speaks again.

"You don't have to, You want to." His voice spoke again "I have better things to do, I have to find something before people will hunt me down, I don't want trouble to follow you, so you should scram, understand."

"I don't care, You're coming along. Plus I haven't even seen your face." The child replied, "Nor do I know your name."

"It's Huang Xi, Huang is my given name, Xi is the surname I was granted by my father who had my mother killed." Huang's raspy voice spoke.

"Huang, My name is Yuki, Yuki onigashi. A pleasure to meet you." Yuki replied "This way to the carriage."

Yuki grabbed Huang's hand and dragged him over to the carriage.

"I could've walked," Huang muttered.

Huang has a hat with a veil over his face, Yuki can't see his face.

"All the way from here to the capital? Your crazy." Yuki replied "I won't let you walk that far. We'll be there in a couple of hours no need to worry."

"Alright, But I'm still saying I should have stayed where I was, Last time I was in the capital someone tried to kill me, more than once." Huang explained, "That why I left."

"Huang, Your voice is so raspy, You should rest will be there in a couple of hours," Yuki replies.

"Alright," Huang replied.

Yuki sighed thinking about what his father said, [If you ever meet Huang, try not to be surprised by the way he is, He's quiet, for the most part, and I had heard he has attacked a while back and his injuries, didn't heal. So he might be weaker then he is. When you see his face for the first time you'll be amazed, at the sight]

Huang was sleeping for the trip, till the carriage stopped, "You should get off first. It'll be weird if I go off first."

"Halt! There's a decree! From his majesty, Prince Yuki, shall be heading home and not stop at an inn, and whoever is with him, shall not be stopped by any guards at all!" General Qi spoke.

"Thank, his majesty." Yuki replied, "Huang it seems we can't stop at an inn and we're going to be escorted to the palace, by the General and the crown prince."

"This is troublesome, see, we should've walked," Huang replied.

"Your highness, who is in the carriage of yours?" General Qi questioned.

"Huang Xi, ya know," Yuki replied.

"You shouldn't say my name is so casually, it's okay, I'll walk from here, being in this thing is so annoying," Huang muttered, "Thanks Anyways though."

Yuki blocked Huang, "Huang Xi, You can't even stand properly let alone walk! I will have the carriage have us driven! You will stress your body just to walk, Understand me!"

"Yes, Yes." Huang sat back down, annoyed.

The carriage moved to the prince's palace, "Huang now you can get off. But be careful."

"I'll be fine. You don't have to—"

A little knife was blocked, "Huang, You almost got injured by a knife, You really should be careful."

"Oh, ah, I'm sorry, Your Highness." Huang smiled.

[You should also remember, He's a bit of a ditz when it comes to certain things, but other times, he's a sharp as a blade]-Yuki thought his father's advice.

"Huang, wait up!" Yuki shouted, "Hey, don't leave me alone here, You don't even know where you're going!"

Huang stopped, in a Lower tone spoke, "Troublesome, indeed, not worth coming back to the capital."

"Huang, You can't be doing stuff like that, Your still injured," Yuki replied.

[He looks so much like his mother, that what scares me, the most]

Huang sighed softly, "Why did I come again? I don't know my self at this point."

Yuki dragged Huang into a courtyard, "This is where you'll live from now on, and you can't leave my palace unless the physician allows you to."

"Your highness, You don't need to have a physician come and treat me, most of my wounds have healed on their own." Huang replies, "Plus there's something I don't want anyone to know about, so I can't have him, examining my body."

"Huang, how will you have the wound treated then? Who will?" Yuki probed.

"I'll be able to treat the wound but I can't have anyone knowing that I'm fully healed in a couple of days, otherwise many people will question this, so in order for this to happen, *cough, cough, cough* I need to have my body slowly heal like a normal human, therefore till I can truly be safe in the capital I will have to be weak, so please don't have anyone know of this besides you." Huang explained, "That's all, I will take the medicine needed though if necessary."

Yuki sighed, "Alright Huang I'll go along with your plan for now."

Luckily there were no servants in his courtyard, as they were none assigned.

"Royal Princess has arrived!" A servant shouted.

"Greetings to you royal princess," Huang spoke softly.

"Huang Don't speak, Your throat will hurt more, summon a servant to bring some herbal tea." Yuki replied "Greetings elder sister."

"Yuki, so this is the man who saved you, can I see your face?" Yang asked.

"Royal Princess, I can't allow for that, as it would be a great honor I'm afraid that, people will hunt me down if they know what I look like," Huang shone.

Huang grabbed the tea, took a sip, in delight, he smiled slightly, but no one could see his face.

"Huang, Don't drink it so fast, you might choke." Yuki scolded.

"Yuki, Father has been delighted of your return, and mother wishes for you to visit her this evening, with Huang," Yang spoke.

"I can't bring Huang. He's too weak to travel, I'm afraid he will catch a cold or worse a fever." Yuki replied.

"Your highness, can't turn down her majesty request, I'll live," Huang spoke softly.

"If you want, then we shall go this evening. Huang, I'll have a coat prepared for you, try not to get sick." Yuki spoke.

"Of course," Huang replied.

Evening...

Huang was brought by a carrier in a thick fluffy black and white coat, soft and fluffy made from fox's fur. Yuki was also carried in one as well.

"Greetings to your majesty." They spoke.

The empress is Wen Qi, sister to General Qi, has two children, Royal Princess, and the crown prince, and those are the only legitimate children of the emperor, considered. She's 26 years old has blonde hair blue eyes always ties it and it really messy bun except for formal occasions when she ties her hair in catering to make it look elegant even though she's in foreigner and it's not of their culture.

"Rise," Wen spoke.

"Thank you, Your majesty." They replied.

Huang was brought over to sit on a chair, gently, so he wasn't hurt.

"I've heard you recouped this prince over here, I heeded you're a swordsman, who was wounded a time back and are slowly healing. You must have suffered greatly. I'll have some medicine sent around tardy, by the servants." Wen retorted.

"Yes." Huang spoke softly "Your majesty."

The empress had wondered what he had looked like, even the royal princess had explained he wouldn't show his face to anyone at all, though she had heard the emperor had seen his face once, that was many years ago, this boy 16, ya know.

"I wanted you two over here, for this reason, my daughter wishes to marry Huang and I wanted to know what he thought about it," Wen spoke.

"I don't want to marry the royal princess, I've only met her once. I wish to know her more before I marry her." Huang replied softly "That is my answer."

"Huang, normally they would decide for you." Yuki explained, "But I guess since you have no real status marriage shouldn't be possible."

"Xi is my surname but, I don't think my family will care for if I'm in the palace or—"

"My lord, a letter has been sent by the Xi household, please read it." A servant interrupted.

Huang grabbed the letter and opened it up.

'Huang my youngest son, I have learned you are in the capital, your sister is to marry his highness, Prince Yuki in a few hours do treat her well.'

"Ah, I don't want to deal with this." Huang muttered "So troublesome."

"Huang, What's it say?" Yuki asked.

"My sister is to be married to you, very soon in a couple of hours." Huang muttered softly "I wanted to avoid her at long as I could."

Yuki sighed, [His sister must be a brutal soul, to make him like this, I shouldn't like her to undertake with, I never like women a lot of the time.]

"Huang let's return, don't stress yourself over this matter, I will deal with this matter my self," Yuki spoke softly.

"Alright," Huang muttered.

Huang was brought back to his courtyard, "Your highness should get to your wedding ceremony, this is important."

"How could it be more important than taking care of you, you're far more important than a mere low rank," Yuki replied.

Huang sighed softly, "I don't require, your assistance, at all."

Huang looked to see a girl, standing there at the door.

"Your highness, is this the room, where I am to be married?" She questioned.

Her name is Yang Xi, but she was known as a beauty in the empire but not as pretty as the empress.

"No, actually, Your courtyard is the next room over, I'll have a servant show you to it." Yuki replied, "You can leave now."

"Your highness, who is that?" Yang asked.

"Yang you don't even recognize your little brother, how rude," Huang conversed softly.

"Huang! What are you doing here?" Yang consulted.

"I happen to meet his highness alright! Not like I wanted to come back to the capital!" Huang shouted in riposte.

"My lord, here is your medicine by the empress, please do take this every day." A servant spoke.

"Have the imperial physician check this medicine of yours." Yuki replied, "And it has to be Physician Yukon."

"Yes, Your highness." The servant bowed.

The servant left, as Huang smiled softly.

"Why can't I see your face?" Yuki cheeks puffed as he pouted.

"Now if I showed you my face, you would never let me wear it again, you would say that I'm too pretty to wear such a thing," Huang mutters softly.

"No fair, I wanna see." Yuki said, "I will see it, you betcha."

"One day, One-day Yu-Yu, one day." Huang whisperers.
