Prologue

I gazed into the moonlight abyss that blanketed over this city of light. Thinking, feeling, reminiscing… On all that I made, all that I shaped, all that I built. The cities of towering metal glazed in pulsating runic symbols in hundreds of ancient tongues, the deep and hallowed planes of angelic grace and slumbering sin, the worn giant mountains lined with bountiful life and mythical beasts from all mythos and the large reaching planes of sand and grass spotted with civilisations of all sizes.

I closed my eyes and reached out my will into the sea of energies permeating every reach of this bountiful universe of mine; Mana, Void, Aura, Qi, Divine Energy, Willpower, Psy and Gaic (Gai-ic). All in a tumultuous harmony. I send out a trickle of Psy into the Sea of Aura/ Souls, sensing the burning panic, fear and confusion doubling with an innate awe towards the invading force infecting the consciousness of all beings.

It is crumbling.

The universe I have cultivated for countless millennia is falling apart.

Is this what fear is like? The first trace spot of it staining my soul, I almost laugh. I have not felt this in all my time as the Creator, yet my own work is now terrifying to me. How ironic.

Supressing the growing fear within me I focus. I am the Creator; I know what I must do.

I open my eyes and look back into the sky, the stars now icy tears in the elderly universe's eyes. The mortals and immortals, beast and man, angels and demons all gathering atop the Root Worlds skin. Some are floating atop weapons, air and complex formations, others on the many towers reaching towards our foe, most of all are the ones atop giants. Things both natural, mechanical, and magical in means come here, but all for the same purpose: to survive or, more accurately, to watch the fall of all.

Standing up from my simplistic white throne I walk to a silver one and a half handed Bastard Sword ornate with vine-like runes growing from the hilt, my personal weapon Reingur (Rein-Gu-Ar). Pulling it out from the pedestal with practiced ease I then bend the Gaic energy around me to form a Spiritual armour covering my casual modern black and blue clothing making me emit a pale golden shapeless mist of light. This contrast between modern stylism with ritualistic weaponry is both strange, yet fascinating and It is honestly my favourite part of being the Creator, blending all forms of mysticism with modern, and beyond, technology and styles.

I let out a grim smile at the thought, after all… it is the End.

I turn back to face the large gaping hole that points from my mountain palace towards the capital, Leomin, and the gargantuan jaw that is forming just above the Thermosphere. Its maw piercing into the sky, endlessly consuming all Space, Energies and Matter that comes towards it leaving nothing but a path of nothingness behind it.

Kishin, the Primordial God of the End, Death and Nothing. The once loyal being is now nothing but a mad God, consumed in a massive well of screaming despair. The sheer amount of Aura and Soul encompassing the Root World is suffocating even for those of equal standing, as such less than a thousandth of this Worlds population remains with Thousands of Beings fallen with each passing moment.

[Why…]

Kishin moans out a long word in the Primordial Tongue, a brief flicker of sanity from the depths of its consciousness. The word echoes outwards shaking the earth with the sheer Aura behind it. Seven cities already fallen to just a single Adverb. Why do I make things so ridiculously powerful again?

Albeit most of that is down to the nature of the Primordial Tongue causing all energies to shape around its waves. Thankfully, the Capital is being protected from the bulk of its power, for now…

Regardless I stare down the entity and respond with a soft.

[Because it's my role.]

It laughs, ravaging the land with its warped tone.

[Then this must be mine.]

The gaping mass begins to crackle and compress down into a bulky humanoid twenty meters tall with pit black skin and gleaming red eyes framed by two gruelling horns pointing straight to his pale white lips. His chest is caved in with a large red gem pulsating in the centre replacing what would be a heart. His legs and arms were long and warped with hooked claw-like feet and large blades for his fingers. Overall, I designed him well. Though now he is not a greatly designed being, but the incarnation of pure terror.

Appearing before him is myself as I ready my Sword between both my hands. He smiles gently before letting out a monstrous scream wiping out all but the Capital; the mountains gone, the plains gone, the cities gone, my palace gone and all energy, except the indestructible Gaic, just gone from the rest of the universe.

Ours eyes directly met each other's a silent agreement between each other for but an instant. Then we collided, my blade against his claws sending waves of Gaic energy crashing against the earth. We both fall back on sync and then the battle truly began.

First, I called forth the earth below me into hundreds of giant blades of metal floating in the air around me. He smirks and then with a wave of his hand consumes them all in a wave of corrupted Gaic Energy, coloured black with a stain of red wrapping around itself.

While the Energy consumed the Blades, I appear behind him while permeating the pale golden Gaic energy into Reingur as it lengthens greatly piercing straight through his stomach as I pull back the sword slashing his chest and head in half.

His eyes snaking around his head staring into me as I float behind him. Laughing his body slams back together and then his arm cracks and bends into a reddish scythe blade. He springs towards me feet first I easily block it, but he then bends his arms around hugging my body with his warped blade with my sword trapped between his warped talons.

The blade rips through my clothes stopping against my bare back. His face contorts into irritation as I then blast a concentrated blade of Gaic, I formed in my empty right hand, towards his face. He bites this in half between his vicious teeth before leaping back into the empty sky.

I flash towards him with imperceivable speed driving my sword straight through the gem lighting up his chest. Flinching he then forms countless spikes of Corrupted energy which drill into my body or try to as they too are stopped by my Gaic enhanced skin. They shatter upon contact due to the immense concentration of natural Gaic energy emanating from me.

His body begins to wrap around me as a pitch-black shell before piercing through my body with the same concentrated blade I formed just planks (smallest mortal measure of time) earlier. As I felt blood rising in my throat, I shape it using Gaic into a thin needle which I scream into Kishin's body tearing him into fragments.

Flying backwards I form seemingly countless needles identical to the original one from my own blood. I flood the needles into the fragmented Kishin. The fragments collapse into a swirling orb surrounded by a coat of the metal he consumed earlier blocking all the blood.

I dive towards Kishin forming the rest of the blood in my body into another layer on Reingur right before driving it straight through him in hundreds of slashes from all directions leaving his metallic shell and body in miniscule fragments. Then I bend all the Gaic energy in my body around him trapping him in a large cube of immense energy. The cube compresses quickly until it would normally have formed a black hole, from this I then release the cube using the miniscule amount of energy that has been restored around myself into a barrier.

Released from all mystical constraints the fragments form a miniature black hole which gradually tears apart everything around it using all the energy in the fragments to expand rapidly. This quickly consumes most of the Root World leaving just the capital and a worn out me.

Turning my sights back to the Capital I see that its barrier barely held itself together though clearly it would not be able to withstand another attack at that level. Even I barely withstood that with as much energy as I had. I let out a long sigh, it was over at least that is what I think.

But of course, it was not as Kishin rapidly formed behind me. As soon as I sensed this, I quickly dragged my sluggish body in attack thankfully he too was barely able to move in seconds let alone at the speed we were at before. Our blades both pierced the other simultaneously as we both mustered all the life we had in our bodies into our attacks. This attack, driven by the life force of the two most powerful beings that existed manage to form a gravitational singularity compressing all the energy and matter in the universe into a single point.

Needless to say, this killed them both as their combined energies formed into a new kind of Gaic energy, the Capital barely withstood the massive waves of energy emanating from this sending matter to every corner off this reborn universe. The Capitals greatest mages combined the energy and life force of their entire surviving population to form a similar planet around themselves with them all dying at the universes rebirth leaving only ruins scattered across this new universe.

As if by a miracle this immense gathering of Willpower led to the entire universe forming the exact same universal rules as before with only one difference, the complete removal of almost all the mystical energies shaping the reality around it. Over countless millennia, eventually a society was formed on a small planet in a solar system around one yellow sun on a planet the residents called Earth.

Prologue! Enjoy. Point out any errors or things I could have done differently in comments if you want. This is pure setup, the real thing begins soon. Also expect no upload schedule as this is all; whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like, thing.
