2 Sunrise

It had been quite some time since she had that dream, about two hundred years give or take. She hated the dream for two distinct reasons. One, she could never move it in, she was just a bystander watching the terror happen over and over and for the second reason it was because it made her feel weak, it was the one moment in her life to date that made her despise herself.

She turned her head and looked at her brother who couldn't talk, walk, or even feel. An ailment that if only she was strong enough she could've stopped. She got up and walked towards him and gently turned off the lamplight beside his bed and as she was about to return to hers' the earth shook so violently the lamplight fell to the ground along with a couple of other appliances. Could it be?

She ran to her closet bringing out her family heirloom, an orange-colored long blade with flame pattern's on its mantle and her father's name engraved on each side. She raised it above her head and gently read her father's name before she put it back into its scabbard.

"Don't worry Dusk I won't be long it's just that, that earthquake wasn't normal it could be another celestial." She paused for a second and continued. "I know it's just a slight chance but I felt it and it's probably a high-tier celestials doing." She looked at Dusk and groaned. "I'll be fine just wait for me okay!" she said as she jumped out the window. For the first time in a thousand years, there might just be hope.

She landed and it seemed she was correct, the streets were cracked and most of the buildings were reduced to rubble, she wanted to help those that were unfortunate enough to be caught in its wake but she had much bigger concerns. She ran and she passed most of the bystanders on the street so fast they didn't notice something went by them, just like most celestial beings she had increased speed, strength, and perception but she was bottom of the food chain if she was to be compared to almost anyone in the cosmos.

She could feel the core of the Earth more or less, a power of hers and she ran towards it's weakest point which was about five miles north about three minutes if she ran with all she had. She stopped behind a tree to survey her surroundings before going any further, the weakest point was right in front of her but she couldn't see anything or anyone but she knew she was right, the damage to the trees and surroundings could only be the work of a celestial. "Dead bodies, about four give or take, a little bit west of here." She said as she walked out of the tree's shade and into the open night. She couldn't feel or see anything close to her but she knew something was weird, though it had been a while since she came to the underworld, she could feel it and she wasn't mistaking it for something else. This was the lingering energy of a "Celestial!" She shouted out loud and as she did something covered her eyes and restricted her body's movement.

"What the-" She couldn't move and as she tried to reach for her sword she heard a voice.

"Who are you?" The voice had a low somber tone to it, but she could also hear the dead seriousness that lied within.

"I'm just a normal girl out here camping." She lied and the grip on her body tightened to the extent that any normal human's bones would've been squished to delight.

"Last time I'm asking, who are you. I know your a celestial I'm just asking for your name and don't lie, it won't end well."

"My name's- none of your business." She shouted as she grabbed her sword pulling it out of the scabbard. "If I were you I'd step back form one: Sunlight!" the sword made the area around her as hot as the sun and slowly but surely her restraints came off and she could see again, she quickly got up and pointed her blade at the man that stood beside her.

"A sun blade, are you the current sun king's daughter?". He said and she looked at him.

" Who are you?" She asked him as she looked around on the ground.

"I'm pretty sure I asked you that first". He stepped back as he noticed his body was melting.

"I'm Dawn, first daughter of Ravr. Now who are you?" She said.

"I'm Ophiuchus. Thirteenth son of-" He was cut off abruptly as he fell to the ground because his body was healing it's wounds. Dawn put her blade back in its scabbard as she approached him slowly.

"Don't worry I won't bite, as long as you tell me what kind of technique that was." She assured him.

"Well, I've always been a snake person I guess". Ophiuchus said and to back up his words, three snakes came out of the forest and hissed at Dawn.

"If you have the sun blade, what does the current sun king have?" She sighed. "There's more than one sun blade it's just that mine won't get any more techniques from future sun kings, now answer." "All right, All right. Well basically." A large cobra came out of the bushes and wrapped itself around his arm. "I can control snakes and the one I used to bind you was a viper which of course, you melted to mush. I can increase the strength of the snakes I control as well as see through their eyes and so on, but I can't make them do things they can't do like breath fire or talk." Ophiuchus answered as he rested on the ground.

She gently stepped out of the slimy remains of the viper before asking another question. "Are you the one that caused the earthquake?" Dawn asked as she slowly reached for her sword. Ophiuchus looked at her and sighed, the snake that wrapped itself around him raised its head and hissed while facing its left, Dawn was confused at first but as she looked towards the left another snake which was there opened its mouth and from it emerged the wolf killer. She closed her eyes and hugged herself tightly. "How didn't I notice it?". Ophiuchus stood up and the snake that ran itself across its arm struck its head into the ground and as Ophiuchus pulled it up the forbidden weapon was swallowed. "That's how."

Dawn couldn't convulse but if she could she would've at the mere sight of the weapon. It brought back bad memories, memories she had buried for hundreds of years. Dawn slowly put her hand on the scabbard, took a deep breath and whispered. "Act 2: Fiery trust." Dawn dashed towards Ophiuchus and stabbed him in his heart, which was generally a weak point for most celestials, she felt the blade pierce through and she confirmed it when Ophiuchus fell to the ground. She felt better looking at his lifeless body, finally she had taken vengeance for her loved ones. Finally, she avenged her father all while having the grin of a maniac, smiling as a woman possessed. Her ears rung and she let go of the Sun Blade. "Dawn!" A voice shouted out, "What is that?" she thought to herself and again the voice called out to her, this time much louder than the first. She could feel her vision blurring and her senses going into overload, she walked towards a tree and used it as support to stand up straight. "Dawn!" She closed her ears and fell to her knees, what is this pain, what is this feeling. A hand grabbed her shoulder and she woke up.

"Dawn, are you alright you passed out," Ophiuchus asked her as he stood up to get her weapon. The morning breeze flowed through the trees cutting down leaves and stirring up dust clouds. "What happened?." Dawn said as she got up holding her head, Ophiuchus was alive. Did she pass out just from seeing the Wolf Killer?. "I guess seeing a forbidden weapon was too much for you, it's the same thing for me as well." Ophiuchus dropped her sword near her and walked away. It was quiet for a while however the peace would soon be disrupted by the wailing sirens of the human race.

"What's that, I've been hearing quite a lot lately is it some kind of signal humans use to communicate?". Ophiuchus guessed and looked at Dawn awaiting an answer. "Your not far from it, but we have to go." She stood up and put the sun blade back in its scabbard. "If we're seen it might cause some complications. I mean this is a private park after all." She said as she started walking away. "Where to now?" Ophiuchus took one step after she and Dawn pointed her sword at him scabbard and all, "Don't act so familiar and don't follow me, you have one of the forbidden weapons of Eon. If a higher celestial Startun forbid it be a zodiac ever comes to this planet and they catch a glimpse of that thing with you." She turned away from him and continued walking. "You're gonna be erased."

"What are you talking about?". Ophiuchus turned around and showed her his back. "What am I talking about don't you know about the-." Dawn stopped immediately she saw the mark on his arm it was undeniably the constellation of the snake king. The thirteenth zodiac, Ophiuchus. "You never told me you were, I'm sorry for my transgression." Dawn bowed down. Ophiuchus walked toward her and put his hand on her shoulder. "It's okay, I don't care about status and all that so stand." Dawn slowly brought her head up. "Is what I would say." She gave him an uppercut straight to the jaw, an uppercut so hard Ophiuchus thought he might never speak again. "If I gave two shits about your status."

"However in light of this new information, I will need your help searching for something," Dawn said as she finished cracking her knuckles. "What?." Ophiuchus said with a lower jaw which was definitely broken.

Dawn had a wide grin on her face accompanied by excitement she hadn't felt since she was banished to this Startun forsaken planet. "The Tome of Benjamin!".
