Chapter 3

One week has passed since I was born here, that very night of my birth in this place was good but not bad either. The Empress wanted me to stay in her palace while the Emperor wanted me to stay in a palace alone with just maids who would be taking care of me.

Rosami palace is prepared for princesses and has low-security many princesses have died in that palace. It's rumored to be hunted, because of the ghost of the princesses that died in there. But the other reason that The Empress begged The Emperor and wanted Celestine to stay in her palace, is that the place is where often the assassins first attack. And yes, that's the reason for the deaths of many princesses.

I now live in the empress palace, I didn't understand their conversation so I didn't get a single piece of information.

I noticed in the past week that ever since I've been here, there's a white dot that shines like the sun. It's hard to look at it and day by day, it's growing tremendously

I've learned a lot of words this past week by listening to the expression in their voice I guess the words, I hope I'm right, the words that I guessed are kinda basic.

The Empress and Francine are always talking to Celestine that's how she learned faster. 5 months past and now she can understand their words except deep words or words that are not often spoken by anyone to her.

She now knows what is the white dot that is always above and always wandering beside her and her head since she was born. The white dot is a spirit of an animal Puma that is growing just like her day by day.

Giggles of a 5-month-old baby filled the room, Francine who is always by Celestine's side, trying to entertain her.

'It's kind of funny seeing her trying to make me laugh but I will laugh for her effort' Francine stopped making Celestine laugh and put her in her arms

Celestine looked beside her seeing the puma that looks comfortable beside her she smiled she wants to hug the spirit but she yet can handle her body weight and control a 5-month-old body steadily

'My body is freaking heavy... hmm, I remember that Shawn learned how to crawl and walk at 6 months old I don't remember... then if it's gonna happen when I'm going to be 6 months then that'll be good then, one month left'

Suddenly, a maid opened the door catching her breath, she made an announcement, "The Emperor is here!"

Celestine who is in deep thought got startled by the maid who opened the door harshly, she cried loudly.

The Emperor entered the room and saw Celestine crying in the arms of Francine, he knew who made his princess cry, he gave a deadly glare in the direction of the maid, which made the maid shiver down her spine.

"Your majesty", Francine she looks down and bends down her knee to show her respect, after bending down her knees, she continued to try to make Celestine stop crying but it didn't work.

The Emperor continued to look at Celestine crying. After staring at Celestine for seconds, she still hasn't stopped crying he said, "give her to me"

Francine was shocked at the words of The Emperor that she stared at him blankly, "give me my daughter" Francine broke her gaze from The Emperor and handed Celestine.

After having Celestine in his arms he said, "that's pretty brave of you looking at me in the eyes head maid, and you," pointing to the direction of the person who rashly entered the room without thinking if the princess is sleeping or will get startled by her actions.

"Use your brain before doing something that'll directly make a path of your death" Celestine quiet down after she was in the arms of the emperor but have hiccups from all the crying.

The Emperor looked at Celestine with an expressionless face. Looking at his expressionless face she giggled and Celestine being the earth version of herself.

'Dad, why are you so attractive? even when you're giving people a death threat? I'm gonna fall for your attractiveness but no❤ because I'm your daughter and you tried to make people pass out with your words which is very attractive. Bitch I'm going to die if I continue to l stare at your attractive eyes. All I can say is you're not a bastard after all and so FINE'

He looked at the maids and said, "everyone out!"

Celestine not moving her gaze from The Emperor, Celestine said her first word, "da-da"

It calmed down the tension a bit but it was replaced with silence

Francine was the first one to say something, "that's my lady's first word, your majesty!" He looked at Celestine and a smile formed on his lips.

"she's only 5 months old, right?" he caresses her cheeks with a smile on his face

"yes, your majesty" Francine replied looking down at the ground.

she slowly straightened her back, she continued her words, "baby usually says their first word at the age of 10-11 months old but her highness said her first words at 5 months old-" Francine was stopped by the hand gesture of The Emperor.

"You talk too much, head maid," he said as if he is bored by her words

"My apologies, your majesty" lowering her head again looking at the ground.

"Now everyone out," he said looking at everyone in the room. After he looked at Celestine in his arms.

Celestine smiled and continuously say, "da-da... da-da... da-da!"

Celestine did save everyone by her cuteness it made The Emperor forgot his anger towards the head maid and the other maid.

'It's good that he didn't go any further 'cause I like Francine and not the other maids'
