15 Chapter 14: Going back

After taking a peek at the bloody map she takes a step back as she felt shivers coming down her body but curiosity struck her, and an argument with herself happened inside her mind.

Hinaya, you'll die if you take a step up don't let curiosity take over you!

But how would you know you'll die if you don't take at least a step?

If you'll die then die! At least your curiosity was filled up.

Okay, I've decided I'll take 3 steps then read the map in distance.

She placed her foot on the 5 steps mossed rough cement and clasp her hand to the metal guard rails. "Gosh, I feel like Elsa, the past is in the pAsT!" she didn't hit the note instead she damage her throat and cough for the last seconds.

"Okay, I need to be serious but there's no fucking water, my throat hurts!" She cleared her throat, "I should refrain myself from shouting. And talk." She straightened her back and sigh as she looks around.

Nothing happened maybe except her not hitting the note, anyways, she takes her second step.

As she takes her second step she blinked and her vision got blurry. She closed her eyes for a second, the last second it was pitch black, the next second she was standing by the middle of a field with blood, armored corpse, weapons with a tinge of sangria, and flags that you could barely see any figure due to holes and blood.

She looked around, red sunlight falls on the surface of bodies, she breathes heavily and looks at herself. She was wearing armor drenched in the redness of blood.

She again looked around and there she saw a little girl, silver hair, red eyes that matched the red sun up the sky, and blood that can be found from where she is standing. She was wearing a red plaid dress, which consisted of quite a few different red shades, Rosso Corsa, amaranth red, and scarlet other than that, black and white were there.

The dress reached her knee its neckline was square, under the red dress she wore a white puff sleeves blouse, her hem reached her wrist and was ruffled.

They made eye contact and goblins came out of nowhere and sprint towards Celestine's direction. Celestine sensed their entrance and cut the throats of the incoming goblins.

The goblin's skins were eminence purple, their lips matched their skin, and their nose was two holes that can be identified as nostrils in human bodies. Their body structure was like that of a human.

As they sprint their way to Celestine's sword, they use their sharp long claws to attack her.

Their claws were stopped by Celestine's red sword dripping in the color of the goblins' blood, "Ma'am, you have a healthy nail, mind if you give some tips? Mine kept on breaking. It's really hard to take care of them."

The goblin snarl showing its sharp teeth that paved its way to Celestine's eyes, "Rude!"

After her word, Celestine slashes the goblin's throat, every throat that she has cut was asked the same question, and she gets the same response from the goblins.

After 20 minutes of goblins going for Celestine's throat, she finally finished their throats, she turned around to find where the little girl was but she was nowhere to be found, "God, I wanted to say she looked beautiful wearing that dress." She mumbled her words.

Her vision again got blurry, she knew what will happen next, so, she closed her eyes. She opened her eyes and said as she steps in the third step, "Excited what will happen in this one."

She blinked and blinked waiting for something to happen, she then looked around, scratches her head. "Hello? Can you stop making me wait? I want to cut some throats... I'm waiting?"

Daggers from the door started shaking, losing their stability, and fell on the bloody map, "Oh, wow."

After it fell from the door it started to shake and soar to the air, "Wow, gravity doesn't exist here, no surprise."

Daggers rotate and aim at her, "I said I was excited to cut SOME throats, not MY throat." Celestine rolled her eyes.

The daggers were about to move and cut the lovely throat of hers but Celestine stepped on the fourth floor, the daggers shattered into pieces and disappeared in thin air and Celestine said, "Just, please stop? I don't have the patience to wait and I'm just curious what's in that bloody map."

The door opened that gave a full view of a darkroom, "Oh, didn't know there was someone here. Sorry?"

She goes to the fourth step and squats over to read. "Gosh, who wrote this? To the one that wrote this, I'm sorry but your handwriting sucks."

"I will haunt you? Oh my gosh, I'm scared!" The door from behind her opened, Celestine turned her head around, startled by the sound. She later looked back at the bloody map.

She straightened her back, turned around, and saw a beautiful lady, she had tears falling from her eyes, for the second time on this day she questioned her sexuality. She turned around facing the door again as she covers her mouth, "She's so pretty." She mumbled by herself.

She then heard her shout, "Why did you kiss him Naya?! You know pretty well that I'm in love with him! I can't believe you did this to me!" Tears fall from her eyes as she sobs, Celestine faced her and walks down the stairs.

Celestine wrinkled her brows and went along with her, "I... I didn't! I would never do that! I would never betray you!" Another door opened and another gorgeous lady came out, "Avirha, do not believe her! I saw her with him last night and they kissed in front of me!"

Why am I constantly questioning my sexuality?! This is the third time this day! Maybe I am not straight as I had thought.

"Varuni, saw you kissing him! I thought you were my friend, how could you betray me like this?! Why? Why? Why Naya?!" Avirha tears were like a streaming waterfall, falling from her green eyes that were as green as a deep forest.

Celestine watched her streaming tears fall from her eyes in a daze, with the tears that are falling from her forest-like eyes, it felt like fresh air and leaves flurried through her, she felt like she was standing in the middle of a forest.

"That's it, end scene." Avirha looked at Celestine as she says those words. A smile flourished on her lips, as she and Celestine eyes meet.

"That was pretty good!" Said Varuni, proud of her herself. After her words, she looked over her door. Her door was made out of wood, papers and sketches were attached to the door, and her doorstep was full of books and unfinished documents, her books were on top of each other creating 4 stashes of 5-foot tall books.

She sat down and cleaned up her documents. After she had gathered her papers that were everywhere, she looked over her books one by one.

Meanwhile, Celestine and Avirha.

"I'm Avirha, the goddess of gluttony, lands, and plant growth." She extended her hands to meet in contact with Celestine. She beamed look back at Varuni and whispered, "She's Hinaya right?"

Varuni replied, "yes." Varuni answered while her hands and eyes tracing her book titles finding the new book that she is writing, "Waking up... Where the heck is it?"

"Umm, hi?" Celestine extended her hands, and shake hands with her. They both then heard Varuni screamed from the back.

"It's not here!" Varuni strides to Celestine, and holds her hands, "What did you see on your second step?!" Varuni tears were visible as she holds them back from falling.

"I saw a little girl, silver hair, red eyes, and in Christmas-themed dress? Oh, and I cut some purple-skinned people throats." Celestine looked to her purple eyes.

"That's not what's suppose to happen." Her tears fall from her eyes, as she loosens her grip on Celestine hands. Her knees weakened, she sighs as tears fall.

Gosh, it's there's a lot of crying happening today.

Varuni then writes in the air, the letters that she was writing shined like a crystal. "Go to Earth for now. it's much safer there since I have no control over there." She said as she wipes her tears.

"Yes?" Celestine was dumbfounded by her words. Going back to Earth? I have no control over there? What?

"All right. Come here, hold my hands I'll guide you to your body." The letter that the goddess has written gleams brighter than it was a while ago. But surprisingly it didn't have any effect on their eyes.

Celestine holds her hands and they both walked towards the light. One step before they finally reach the light Avirha shouted, "Come back as soon as possible, Varuni! And don't pick up a fight with the Earth's gods!"

Varuni didn't take a single glance as Avirha shouts but a smile was brought up to her lips listening to her words. Celestine looked over at the two of them and mumbled, "God, you're making me feel like a loner, I don't have someone to do that to me."

Varuni chuckled, "Don't worry about that thing Celestine there will be about 5 people that will do that to you, not the royals but people you'll love besides the royals." Celestine smiled and without any more words, they both take their step towards the light.
