9 Motherfu**er

"Well look who the cat dragged in."

I sat on my loveseat with my legs propped on the armrest. Ron momentarily expresses his disgust at my behavior before smiling coldly.

"I apologize for appearing on such notice Macy. I hope that you can forgive me."

I threw the fourth piece of gum. Gum was the only way that I've found so far to satiate my need for smoking. Even in my previous life I had this habit of chewing several pieces of gum at the same time. Ron sat on the chair facing me. He was wearing a crisp light blue suit today. He even smelled like money.

He rarely opened his eyes completely. He always has a half-eye opened gaze. It was as if the person in front of him was merely an object that doesn't deserve his complete attention.

Tch.

What an ass.

He looked over at me and smiled as if he read my mind. I smiled back.

"What do I owe your visit to today Ron? And please answer me as quick as you can as I have an appointment to attend in half an hour."

Translated, my words meant "beat it bitch". Ron slightly opened his eyes and appraised me. He chuckled. I chuckled as well.

"Don't worry Macy, my time is worth money as well. I do not wish to waste my money in such a way."

His words translated to, "what are you talking about bitch? You aren't even worth my time". I felt a vein pop at the top of my head.

Asshole.

"Okay Ron please state your reason then."

Ron exhaled and folded his leg over the other.

"Your request is quite troublesome Macy. If it weren't for our relationship I wouldn't even think about doing this."

I popped my large bubble. I know asshole just carry on.

"It seems like your grandfather has never had his own children. Your father, uncles, and aunts are all adopted but none of them know that. They have all been told that their mother has died in an accident years ago."

Well this was news. But the question is how can I use this to my advantage?

"Thank you Ron. But I also have another question."

Ron looked at me.

"Your questions never fail to amaze me. Shoot."

"If you had to choose between dying in a fire or a snowstorm what would you choose?"

It was the first time Ron had ever widened his eyes. A second later he recovered from his shock and answered.

"None."

Bitch, please answer the question.

"That is not an option. You must choose one of the two."

Ron scratched his head in a frustrated manner.

"I would probably prefer the flames as it would be a quicker death. Why would you ask me such a question? Are you planning to assasins the me Macy?"

I chuckled.

"Don't flatter yourself Ron. It was a mindless question. Don't concern yourself with it. Oh look at the time! I'm going to be late for my appointment. Layla please escort our guest to the door."

"Don't worry Macy I can walk to the door myself. And before I leave, I will warn you. Don't forget that in order to play with fire one must be willing to burn their fingers."

I smiled.

"I will take your warning to heart. Thank you Ron!"

Ron waved and walked to the door shutting it behind him.

I burst into laughter. Ron was more impressive than I had originally thought. His thought process is exactly like mine. What an interesting fellow.

His warning repeated itself in my head. He was right. I smiled. I have to play the game of "heir" with or without the challenges. I jumped off the loveseat.

"Layla let's go meet my parents and brothers. I would like to have dinner with them tonight."

Layla nodded. I put slipped on a silk dress and high heels. As I straightened my hair I smiled at myself in the mirror. I will now start playing with fire.
