13 It’s a fu**ing date!

Ron's hair and golden eyes shone under the sun. I plopped my sunglasses on the bridge of my nose. The scene in front of me turning darker. People stared at us at the bus station.

I don't blame them. We looked like we had just jumped out of a rom-com. Well I mean isn't that kind of what this ordeal is?

"Do you think that they're shooting a movie?"

"No way! Where are the cameramen?"

I ignored the whispers as the bus arrived. A few minutes ago I saw that there was a mall a couple of miles down south. It had a Zara, Forever 21, and other fast fashion stores. I felt Ron's restraint as he entered the bus. The bus driver stared at us like we were aliens. I smiled and waved. Ron and I paid the $1.50 fee and walked over to take our seats.

Ron looked at the seat before plopping down. I chuckled. He was probably used to his car being washed before he rode it. I sighed as I remembered the years I spent taking the bus to and from work. My previous life was pretty tough. So I'm going to enjoy this one as much as I can!

"Next stop: 145th Pl Se and Se 22nd St. Cardinal Mall. Cardinal Mall."

I stood up and held onto the hanging brace. Ron looked at me in confusion before following suit. I chuckled. His flustered expression was quite adorable. The bus riders looked at us with expressions of confusion. I sighed. This was something that I had to get used to.

The bus came to a stop as the mall came into view. I waved at the bus driver and said.

"Thank you!"

The bus driver waved in shock as he looked at Ron. Ron nodded.

"You're supposed to say thank you."

Ron tilted his head in confusion. He then turned only to hit his forehead on the closed sliding gun doors of the bus. The bus driver jumped out of his seat and opened the doors.

"I'm so sorry lad, are you okay?"

Ron rubbed his red forehead and nodded. He smiled and said.

"I apologize, my fiancé reminded me to say thank you."

Ron then bowed and walked away. The bus driver and riders looked at Ron in shock. I pounded on the ground as I laughed.

Jesus. That was comedy gold! Ron looked at me with an icy expression and tugged my hoodie.

"Stand up Macy and stop laughing. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be walking around with a bruise on my face."

I giggled and stood up. We then walked towards the mall entrance. Ron smiled. We then spent the day shopping. Or at least Ron watched me shop with distaste as I bought clothes that weren't of a brand name. He sat in the fitting room chairs and watched me try on different outfits. Ron kept a poker face except when I wore a shirt skirt. He looked at my bare legs and blushed yelling at me to change. I scoffed. What a cutie.

A second later my stomach grumbled. Ron then chuckled and stood up motioning for me to leave. I apologized to the girls who worked in the fitting room as they had to out back so many articles of clothing. Me and Ron then left the store.

The smell of fast food filled my nostrils. I almost started drooling. No offense to the chefs at the Kiehl Residence but fast food has its own appeal. I pulled Ron's arm and ran towards the McDonald's.

A few minutes later Ron stared at me. I must look like an animal. A chicken nugget in one hand and a burger in the other. I moaned in pleasure as the fast food shit filled me. Don't do this at home kids.

During the process of ordering my meal and finding a seat Ron watched me with interest. When I caught him staring he would slightly blush and turn away. I stopped chewing my food and looked at Ron. He was now watching a family eat together in the table next to ours.

For the first time I saw something weird in his eyes. It looked like he was longing for what the kids had. I don't blame him. Some rich kids have it hard. They are go Ben everything materialistically but sometimes they simply wish for their parents to pay them mind. I wiped my hands and took Ron's hand in mine. He blinked then looked at me.

"Don't worry Ron, I'll be by your side. You don't have to stay as a lonely fuck anymore."

Ron burst into laughter. I blushed. It was quite melodic and beautiful actually.

"I almost thought you to be charming Macy but you had to ruin the moment with your foul language."

I smiled and sat back patting my enlarges stomach. I burped into my hand. God above I have never eaten this much in my previous or current life. I felt like I was about to fucking explode.

"Thank you."

I blinked. Did Ron just thank me? No I must've heard wrong.

"Pardon?"

"I said thank you Macy. I actually enjoyed today no matter how trashy the experience was. I'm glad that we're friends."

I nodded. A sudden feeling of warmth filled me. For some reason I remembered Cassie's face. I miss her as my friend. She probably freaked out after finding about my death. I sighed and smiled to Ron.

"You're welcome buddy."

My phone lit up as a new text arrived. I looked at it. It was from Layla and read.

"Miss Macy, I'm sorry to interrupt your date but the third challenge letter has arrived."

I smiled and stood up. My fun was cut too short today. Something inside of me told me that the third challenge was going to be quite a motherfucking fun adventure in itself.
