2 Messing with her stuff

After throwing those words, the surrounding went quiet except for the noise of the cars passing by.

The silence was broken by a slapping sound. It was not loud but it was heard by the officer, the clerk and some people who were close to them.

She slapped the hand of the clerk who was still grabbing her shirt and continually exposing her skin.

"Are you done?" she spoke as she arranges her clothes without looking at the clerk. Her voice was good to listen to. It has a nice melodious and has a soft feeling to it as if a feather suddenly brush your neck to the back of the ear, giving goosebumps feeling but the tone of her words were like a soon-to-erupt volcano.

"W-what are" "do you have evidence that I'm the one who stole your merchandise in your store?" She cut him off and continue she was saying.

"before you answer, I have myself proof that I am no thief you accused of." She showed a small paper in her hand that has a list she wants to buy in case she forgot about it and showed it to the police officer then to everyone.

In the list, there was junk food, toothbrush, a soap, energy drink, and chocolate spread.

The clerk was left speechless by this. He thought she was a thief but he remembers that earlier she was not holding that in her hand. He spoke that still has a voice of accusation.

"I was looking at you earlier and you didn't hold that! Hah! That paper you showed to us was only one of your props to show you being innocent." He scoffed.

"You even look poor with your get up! You were caught stealing and why don't you just admit to it? I'll even guess that you don't have money in your bag and that bag of yours was also one of your props in your schemes"

He snatches her bag and open it and pours the contents to the ground.

Clattering sound can be heard as the items were scattered to the ground. There was a cell phone, an earphone, a wallet, and a keychain with keys on it at their feet.

Behind the girl's thick eyeglasses were cold eyes which were becoming more colder.

The surrounding atmosphere was like zero degrees and it was still descending to a colder level.

*SLAP!*

The girl's patience snapped and slapped the clerk in the cheeks loud.

The onlookers were bewildered to what just happened.

"How dare you to sla-"

"Shut up, what I the hate the most are people with blabbermouths!"

The police officer was shocked when he saw the girl take action. He tensed up when he heard her voice that shook his heart with fear and thought she was definitely not a simple girl!

"O-officer! She's cr-" the clerk turned to the officer to cry for justice when he heard some people gasp and pointing at the ground where the scattered things are.

Passerby A: "Look at her phone! it was one of the expensive smartphones that were just recently released in the market! It's aPhone VVs!!"

Passerby B: "Damn! that phone was only a dream from some people! How can she have it?! She must be filthy rich because that phone cost $1,190!!!"

Passerby C: "Look at her bag! it's a SMITHSUN bag! that cost £1,005 if I remember correctly."

Then suddenly they had one thought in their minds 'Does she really need to steal to get something when she doesn't lack any money?'

The clerk's face loses its color as if he has an illness. His body where trembling and kneeled in front of her. He gathered her stuff and dust it off. He put it carefully in her bag and gave it to her like it was an offering to the high above.

He was regretting it so much for jumping to a conclusion. He immediately and seriously apologizes to her. "I'm sorry for everything! Sorry for falsely accusing you of being a thief and calling you other names. I'm also sorry for being rude to you and ruining your clothes. Same with your stuff."
