5 Chapter 5: The World Traveler
Daryl opened his eyes slowly to adjust his sight from the orange environment because of the setting sun.
He look around only to see the familiar grassy field and white house he built by magic.
'So I have really talk to God and even requested abilities from him' Daryl chuckled after he remembered the event that happen which he still can believed.
Standing up while looking for the missing wisp but after five minutes of searching he didn't found the ball of Mana.
'Hmmnn, so it leave huh!, I thought it's gonna stay with me, it was very lonely without a companion' he thought before stop thinking about it.
"I need to hurry and Used the skill to transfer myself back to earth, my sister might already be starve"
Daryl then run toward the south side of the grassland where he saw a deer like rabbit.
It stood in its hind leg but when it runs it looks like a deer using it's four legs, he also saw a large crocodile that swim in the ground like a fish in the sea.
The crocodile only showed its scaled back while moving beneath the grassy ground before pouncing on its prey which is caught off guard.
He tried to copy it to make his hunting effective and easy but after trying it out, he can only sink on the ground unable to move.
If use the skill like this, he would be a sitting duck waiting to be devoured but it would be different if he knows the principle behind the magic because of his godlike ability Magic Energy Command.
He tried it for the last time before giving up.
Back to his hunting, Daryl saw the prey he want to roast tonight was a 1 meter deer like rabbit who is full of muscle and meat or he will just name it Rabbit Deer.
Slowly creeping toward the Rabbit Deer who look like a harmless drunk man on the road, he felt something was wrong before stopping in his track and began observing it by crawling in the grass.
Because of his instinct which have been honed for surviving in the chaotic and merciless modern society he waited.
It will appeared to walk clumsily which look like a man who just came out from the bar drunk, it walk with a wobbling legs.
Coincidentally, a bird beast which look like an ostrich with a sharp teeth protruding around it's beak look toward the Rabbit Deer like a predator eyeing it prey.

When the Carnivorous Ostrich was near the Rabbit, it suddenly raise it paw and punched the excited bird which was throw 5 meters before sliding in the ground creating a trails of mud.
The dumbfounded bird then stand before screaming toward the Rabbit showing its dominance.
The Rabbit care less about its scream before kicking it.

The rabbit fly toward the Ostrich with it's leg in the front, with it's 1 meter body but a 100 kilogram kick which look like a mini van smashing toward the bird.
The arrogant bird cannot even imagine the this harmless rabbit became a ferocious beast before it life was ended with a smashed bird brain.
Daryl who was creeping behind the grass was surprise, he was observing the rabbit who didn't not even release an ounce of killing intent killed a beast.
But instead of admiring it, he stand up and control the earth before throwing a spike made earth.

The spike travel toward the Rabbit who then instinctly dodge, maybe because of its year of surviving from this strong eat the weak grassland, it develop it's sense toward intent.
Looking towards the place where the spike came from, it saw Daryl before running toward him with it's four legs before using it's momentum to catapult itself and raising it's leg to kick Daryl.
Of course, Daryl who was ready about this kick materialize a spear from his bond weapon raising it towards the flying rabbit before using magic.
Wall made of rock rise in his back before putting the back of the spear toward it, his action may sound reckless but because he is ready, he execute this trick only in a blink of an eye.
Watching the Rabbit fly toward him before impaling itself to the spear, he smile.
"Even truck-kun is made of metal it will still be skewered if it's force is strong enough when it smash into the spear" he lectured the impaled rabbit which twitch a little before looking at him with resentful look.
Daryl look at the dead Rabbit before celebrating his victory.
"Haha, I won this round in an easy way without even the use of my coercion" he celebrate by raising his hand in the air.
Dragging the rabbit back to his house, he start skinning it only to finish after the sun have truly set.
He then made all kind of equipment like kitchen tool and pan for boiling the meat.
After he familiarize himself with magic after eating, he now can easily made a equipment made of iron unlike the last time where he needed to concentrate all his mind to imagine before the metal can take form.
But the taste of his meal was bland, he didn't know the principle behind the rock salt, so he can only finish his meal unwillingly.
Remembering the time he was walking, he found many plant which look like a spices but, he was afraid it was a poisoned.
Unlike many Japanese protagonist, he cannot use appraisal unless he can found out the principle about it.
After he finish eating, he then start closing his eyes before watching the memories of the Skill "World Traveler" which can let him travel between two world.
The theory behind it was, he need to first remember the details of the place he want to go before using magic and concentrate in it.
Then using the Mana as the energy, one need to slowly open the space using the Space element and and time elements to stabilize the the inside of the portal.
One need to know that the only thing that travel when using World traveler is the soul.
So Daryl need to pinpoint his body before opening the portal and possessing the empty body of his that remain on earth.
Daryl who finish watching the memories began to try only to failed on opening the portal because the space element was so stubborn that it won't obey his command.
"Concentration" word again surface in his mind before he start clearing his mind again before stretching his hand and imagine himself controlling the space element which is very stubborn.
He tried again and again before he can command one space element, until he suddenly remember that he needed hundred of space element before he can open a portal.
Just like when Daryl need to conjure a fireball, he needed to borrow the power the one fire element to use it, as for earth spike he needed two earth element.
But if a A rank Magi heard Daryl's thought, he would really strangled Daryl to death for being dissatisfied with one space element just for trying to command it in an hour.
Many Magi knows level 41 mage can only command 25 magic Element that include his own element but Daryl can use hundreds, one can really imagine how mad a Magi will be if a he heard him.
Daryl practice controlling space element until he succeed just before 12 pm hits, Daryl was so happy until he remembered another problem, he need to control 200 time elements to stabilize the portal.
"W-what the heck! Is this for real" he mumble like a dumbass.
He even began to doubt if he was making a time travel portal not a space travel portal but because he really want to travel right this instant.
But after racking his brains in and out he stop thinking about it before he continue to command time elements.
At 2 am sharp, Daryl already controlled 200 time element which is used for portal to stabilize.
He first eat the leftovers bland flavor boiled meat he put in the table to replenish the nutrition and energy in his body before standing up after 5 minutes of resting.
When his energy and mental strength have recovered, he began concentrating.
He stretch his hand and close his eyes, he then relax and repeatedly command the space elements to open a crack in the space.
A black portal formed in front of him, then color change from black to violet, this only means that the portal is still unstable and might collapse anytime.
Without wasting his time, he exert the time elements inside the portal before he start weaving it inside with the Mana in his surroundings before making the time stop inside the portal while the some time elements disappeared inside.
He didn't know where would in go but he can't care much as his soul jump inside.
Without a soul his body limp down to the floor but his body was still breathing while the Coercion activate automatically to prevent harmful beast around him from destroying his body.
Daryl soul who is inside the portal only heard a *woosh sound before his sight turn black.
He regain his sense again as he slowly opened his eyes and before him was the familiar face crying.....
