11 Chapter 11: Forest Gaia of Green Continent

In the forest voided by all kinds of animal and plants.

An elf was running hastily, she has been running for seven days straight without rest.

Running for an entire week is just a piece of cake for her, she was trained to a scout ranger from the start with, and with the help of her level 35 Mana core, she can just replenish her energy with magic.

When she first saw that tall dwarf, she already decided do report it to their Queen.

This mutant dwarf is so strong that it might became a headache if not controlled, judging from the tall dwarf's action, she can already conclude that it was stronger than her.

Asking for the queen to send stronger warrior or Magi is just the right decision.

Just as she was to chant the replenishment spell, a strong windy sound vibrate all around the forest.

"A demon attack?! Their no way a demon pass through here! " she told herself.

The sound has been used by the elves since the demonkin first time attack their kingdom, it was more like a alarm using tree leaves and wind to notify the nearby elves.

She look around carefully and vigilantly, wind began to rustle crazily while the south side from her was silent, this only show that the demon is in that way.

Just as she want ignore it, she suddenly remembered that the place was the village of the wolf race.

Judging from the whistle of the wind, it was going to attack the village.

Without anymore hesitation, she directly run toward the silent side of the forest.

When she saw the village, it was still peaceful at it was, many wolf cub in human form are playing in the street.

Dragging her body toward the village, she shouted.

"A DEMON IS HERE! EVACUATE TO THE CENTER OF THE VILLAGE!"

When the demi-humans hear this, the parent wolf directly grab their children without any hesitation, they didn't worry about the elf harm them.

The elves has been their ally when the war of elves and demonkin happen, they were the most affected one because of the location and geography of their place which is the perfect war location.

Only the elves help them by giving them territories without any reservation.

The demi-humans didn't also hesitate to give their gratitude after the war, just like that, demi-humans and elves became ally.

When the center of the village became noisy and crowded, through magic voice enchantment, her voice sounded loudly.

"Good day to you all fellow ally, I just gotten a signal from the alarm spell that their are demon here so I need to inspect all of you here" she said.

"And my name is Silvana, sorry for the rudeness" she continued.

The demi-humans didn't object with Silvana, they already know how cruel the demon was, just like how a crocodile tear their prey alive, demons love to hear the anguish and scream of their prey before devouring the soul.

Demonkin has been known for their cruelty and bad reputation, they will do anything just to succeed the goal they have follow.

Their mischievous and vengeful, if one have fight with a demon, he need to finish it before it can escape.

Silvana start walking toward the crowd with compass made of red stone and black metal, it can detect demon when it was near.

After long hour of inspecting, the compass didn't response to anything which made Silvana suspect that the compass was broken.

But judging from it's outer layer it was perfectly fine, it doesn't even have a scratch.

When she thought it was just a false alarm, a loud explosion sounded outside the village before a large howl of beast echoed in the north side of the village.

Silvana run outside the shelter, looking at the densely packed beast stood outside the fence of the village, despair appeared in her face.

It was impossible for her alone to fight this large amount beast.

When she look at the eye of the beast, it was all black indicating that it was on a rampage.

The beast was obedient as it stay in place as if they was waiting for the signal to attack, the beast all growl sending tremor and oppression toward the little village.

The villager demi-humans was also intimidated because of this, some even collapse from the oppression while other just stood still and cannot stop their body from shaking as the hair in their tail stood up.

Silvana look at the frightened wolf people before looking at her Bow and arrow.

She was a Mage Archer, this class profession use magic as support to their arrow to enchant their fire power.

But when she look back at the berserk beast, she shuddered while sweat drench her leather armor.

Clenching her bow, she was ready to die just to kill even a small amount of beast.

Just as she was to stretch the bow string, a large explosion happen in the back formation of the beast.

Daryl has been wandering in the near forest for 2 days for now, after he made the spell he plagiarized from many novel, he wandered in the nearby forest.

He was looking for potential pet to use his new spell.

Leash, this spell will bind the conjurer and the beast by a contract, the contracted beast most obey the order or the contractor or they might die and suffer from pain before dying.

He made many kind of spell like summon, flash, meteor, tsunami, recall, lightning strike, taunt, charm and etc.

Sometimes he would ask himself if it was right to learn charm which will made his enemy with opposite gender lust increase, it might sound weird but it can charm any race if it was a female.

He has made this spell by reading some vampire genre novel which the vampire maximize their charm to let the enemy saw an illusion before biting in their neck.

Using it's theory, he was able to produce a scent from his body that will make the any female lusted in his body.

"I will never use this disgusting spell again at least necessary" he shouted from the top of his lungs.

The beast that heard this shout start panicking when it heard the devil shouted, many of the beast with territory here has been living in a hell-like life.

They freak out from the small sound made by this devil like being, it may not torture or painfully killed them, but their mental health has decreased since this demon arrived here.

The beast thought, I mean all the beast thought.

Today they live in hiding again as they saw the being moving toward them, they don't know if it was their imagination but the devil was not releasing oppression toward his surrounding, they tried to go out and take advantage of it but the fear of being eaten and cooked surface in their brain.

If they can speak they would have already scream for mercy but God is so cruel, they was here tortured from this devil.

Daryl has been looking from every nook and cranny but he didn't find even a single ant in this beast infested forest.

'The beast which live in this area may have evacuate because of me' he thought.

Just like that, few hours have past but since he was looking only without using magic to find, nothing result.

"I have only 8 hours before the time on earth hit 1pm in the morning" he calculated.

Without anymore nonsense, he decided to make a detection spell which he didn't made last time because of his the King's Coercion which will protect him from sneak attack.

But right now it is different, he need to find a beast which is hiding in this forest.

Closing his eyes, Grey color Element which is a neutral element converge toward his head until it form a bulk compress Element.

Daryl then use this orb to spread a ripples of wave, just like how dolphins use echolocation, he used Mana as the medium before sending it to his surroundings.

All kinds of information then surface in his mind before he open his eyes.

" Judging from the heat wave emitted by the beast, it was hiding in the ground" he said.

A smile then formed in his mouth before stumping his foot heavily in the ground.

*Rumble

In front of him, a soil rise in the form of cage with beast inside it, curling it's body from fright.

It didn't even dare to move even if Daryl poke it's ass.

"Hey, big guy, why don't you move?" he said.

The beast almost peed after it was poke in it's butt but it still didn't move in its position.

Looking at this big wimp, he almost laugh hard at the beast playing dead.

The poor beast didn't know it already became a guardian after he was captured.

When the beast didn't move Daryl thought.

'This is more easy than I thought, it wouldn't resist from the leash spell'

Spreading his left hand, he pointed his finger toward the beast then a small string with neutral element in it slowly stretch toward the Black earth panther before it passed through it head.

When the spell finish, the panther stand up before bowing it's head.

With it's new added memory, it has now one mission in its life, that is to protect the owner's sister.

Daryl nodded before he said.

"Your name is now Spade"

Description: A contracted beast with abilities to jump into shadow of the contracted owner. A wimp beast but loyal.

Looking at the status, Daryl smiled.

Raising his head, he saw the setting sun with it's orange glow before he told the beast to follow him back to the house.

It nodded it's head with a roar before following its master because it knows what benefits it will get when it will follow Daryl.

"When the time rang out, the world will succumb to the beast" Daryl said when he remembers his favorite villain line.
