Chapter 66 - Defying Enchantment

Broken stood in full armor, the shiny black metal gleaming as if freshly forged. A four-tailed fox stood proudly beside him, its four tails fluttering like a war banner, ready to signal the start of the battle.

"Alright," he said gravely, his voice resonating with determination and courage. "It's time to take on the enemy."

Polly stayed motionless and silent, her unwavering gaze giving away her readiness for this fight. She seemed to be waiting for Broken's command.

"Are you ready?" Broken asked her softly.

She nodded silently in reply.

"Yeah... being a little cringe in this kind of situation is alright," He continued on. "Let's make every moment count and enjoy each battle as if it were our last!"

His chest heaved up and down as he took a deep breath before dashing forward. He swung his sword fiercely at the boulder ahead several times until it shattered apart and scattered across the ground.
