18 El Dorado.

El Dorado, the golden king, was one of the two greatest bloodlines ever to grace the earth. He was known for his body, and obviously, it was gold. Even a million years later he was just a legend. No one knew where his tomb was. Not a single person had heard of him since. All they heard were stories of his greatest treasures from his descendants. But Tao Lin had found a map, and his tomb wasn't in Columbia! Now it all made sense to The Alchemist. It was too recent for it to be in Columbia. It had to be in Egypt!

Back then the immortals were in either Africa or China, and the world was much different. Eventually El Dorado's descendants must have branched out to the west. This probably included all his progeny.

The Alchemist was so excited that the entire Fortress seemed to shake. He placed the paper down gently like it was a delicate feather and grabbed Tao by the shoulders.

"I can't tell you yet about the game, Tao. All I can tell you is that were saved." The Alchemist pulled

Tao and swung him around. "Yes, you'll forever be known as the man who found the key!"

Derek watched the two playing around with confused eyes. "Mister, what's this you're saying about immortals on earth? There weren't even modern humans yet."

The Alchemist threw Tao away in his excitement. "No, you don't understand, Derek. We may not have been around yet. But they were! Who do you think taught man how to make fire?"

Tao sprung off the wall and rocketed towards The Alchemist. He spun with his backfoot and touched down lightly.

"Do you have to throw me, Alchemist? I thought I was your savior."

The Alchemist laughed. "You've also improved. I had no idea you reached the Qi Condensation 7th stage. I guess its going to be some time for training. And after the training more training. I won't allow you to stop until you mastered your fifth palm fire arts. Do you hear me boy! Woo hoo! Oh, and yes, Derek, you should start training too! 1000 push-ups by the end of the day or no food!"

Tao Lin looked over at his brother and immediately felt bad for him. He had a long four months here. When he wasn't in the game, he was training in the prison room. It was the place on the second floor with bars on the doors, and if you didn't meet your goals, you'd would stay locked in until the lieutenant let you out. Frankly, the only good thing about the place was the food. He didn't want to go back there. However, if his brother was there, maybe, just maybe, it wouldn't be so bad.

This meant his brother would finally lose that stomach. And, potentially, might unlock the cultivation organ faster. He would no longer be that fatty. Perhaps he would turn into someone skinny, and blossom like his father always expected him too. But his dad was no longer around. All that was left was him, his brothers, and the training room of death.

"I can't do it Alchemist. I'm at an important part in the game." Tao Lin squirmed backward. "I have too, you know, because there is a quest waiting for me."

The Alchemist was fast in his response, and instantly arrived in front of Tao. "You will master a new skill, and do you want to know why you will master a new skill, Tao Lin?"

Tao Lin gulped and moved backwards. "Please, don't make me do it. Give me another week. I'm at a town in the sky called fire city castle. Just let me get a few more weeks."

The Alchemist looked at Tao curiously. "You're kidding. That's great! Then he can train you!"

….

Diana shook nervously behind the trees.

The forest was humming as birds chirped. It was just her and a man twice her size.

She slid over towards the next tree as the great Alakaral slashed up the forest. Tree after tree dropped around her. She arrived forward a few feet away. She felt her hand against the bark of a cold, scared tree and used the momentum to quietly shoot her forward.

"I'll find you, and when I do you'll be dead!"

The Great Alakaral was very serious when he said that. The King of men had just asked him how the search was going. The King of men, the man who was a foundation stage expert, nodded his head expectantly after the meeting. It meant that if he didn't have it he'd be dead! He had to find the little plucky girl who stole the ring and his men's lives.

"Your Vim is critically low."

Diana looked down at a gash on her hips full of red blood. It hurt almost as much as in real life. She quickly hid behind a rock and hoped no more attacks would hit her. From just one hit alone she had lost -2600 Vitality. She pulled out [the stone of the ancient forest] and squeezed it. Her Vim slowly trickled back up to 1650/3250.

"You're a girl aren't you," Alakaral screamed, "Your one of those amazons who didn't want to lose the princess aren't you. Well, too bad! It's too late." He swung his arms as a slew of trees joined the new cut lumber.

Diana Hong kept moving forward. Hopefully she'd be able to hear a story from the Amazons soon.

….

Natalia and the gang of five all logged out and arrived back in The Fortress. The first thing she wondered was where was her son? She was soon joined by her two sons, Yeon and Arden, as they swept the premises. He wasn't anywhere on site until she found the pod. The first thing she noticed about her son was the powerful aura coming from his body, and the rapid eye movements behind the glass. She placed her hand against the warm solid surface and lightly leaned into it.

It was so hard to be a mom right now. Your son was in another world, and no matter what you did you couldn't reach him.

Even worse than that was what happened when she sent a message in game, it wasn't allowed! He was in a secret territory, and she'd have to wait until he left till they were able to speak. She wanted to say so many things to him and give him the most embarrassing hug in front of the three girls. There was also that little knot in her gut that was terrified her son could die in that game.

"Mom, we'll see him soon," Derek said. "You just have to be patient."

Natalia looked at her son. "No, I don't, Derek."

She smiled at him ominously.
