19 A Sage.

Diana Hong arrived in front of the Amazonian Queen. Her dress was torn to a few inches above her knees.

The Queen was sitting in front of her sighing in relief as she saw the key. She was hoping she wouldn't have to give away her precious daughter for it. And she quickly called two warriors over with a box of goods.

For some reason, Diana couldn't help but smile at the mother's joy. She almost died from Alakaral's last attack, but it was all worth it. She made it out after nearly getting blown up in a blast that took out all the trees around her. She had to hide under the bushes to dodge his scope like eyes.

Two hours later, after a lot of hell, she had made it here. The queen brought over a chest that Diana had never seen before. It was glittering with a red hew, and even better behind it there was one more.

Chests in Cosmic Order had a lot of different styles. But when the chests alone were made from ruby, you knew that they were valuable. Diana went up to them after the queen waved her hand forward. It was now time for her to see her rewards. The two beautiful amazons, wearing florid dresses opened the coffers. Two sparkling items were handed over to her.

"You've done quite a good deed for the Amazons," The Queen said, "In honor of that we'll also give you a title.

Yes, a title. One of those things that you got if you did something good. Like two hundred years ago when they still knighted celebrities in Britain. Way back then, that part of Europe hadn't sunken yet. However, now it was literally adrift.

"Diana Hong, you are now the honorary Esquire of the Amazons. However, we still have more missions for you in the future my lady."

The queen continued, "We've prepared two items that we could tell you needed. One, obviously, is a dress, and the other is a sword. Your swords look like a hoodlum's blades. As far as we're concerned, if you wear them in the capital again we'll kick you out!"

"You've acquired the Amazon Esquire robe, and the blade of wing's might."

Diana Hong put on the new dress with a few clicks on her equipment settings. It was a comely look for her, and the queen clapped her hands. Her daughter came out a room looking very attenuated. It was her first day seeing sun light in months.

The two girls were in front of each other. One a healthy young girl and the other one that had just escaped from her tower.

"Mother told me you saved me, and I wanted to come down and give you a hug."

The queen came off her chair and joined them. Finally, the lady had escaped from the tower with the key. However, there was a light glowing in the stairwell.

….

Tao Lin woke up in the town back in the local Zoo in Fire City.

The Alchemist had given Tao Lin some instructions about where to go.

Apparently, somewhere inside the town he would find a house with a star on it. If he went inside, a sage would be there to give him some pointers.

The beautiful fire city. It was very beautiful, and if you were there you would notice the light smell of sulfur. The entire island was built on a gigantic floating volcano. However, as Tao would later find out, the reason it was so special was because of the dungeon inside of that volcano. He was supposed to get trained by this man first, and then go into the dungeon. Part of him was terrified.

Tao Lin wandered through the streets as a few artificial life forms went about their daily business. Some of them were bartering with the street vendors, and others were talking to woman. In this world, nothing was promised to the artificials. They had to meet and mingle just like humans. And if they wanted they could even have kids.

A place with a star on it was a few feet away from Tao. However, he couldn't find it. It was nearly impossible to see.

A small girl was there looking through the haze at the only human in town. She sighed and pulled a creature along with her.

"Come on, boy. We have a visitor today."

Tao Lin turned around as a little girl appeared below his leg. She was literally up to his waist! But she had big eyes, almost like a seal, staring up at him. He didn't even hear her approach!

In this town, it was assumed that players and artificials wouldn't fight. However, it didn't mean that they couldn't. The system wouldn't be happy if there were limitations in this world. It would not be realistic if a machine couldn't bash you in the back of your head.

"So, can you tell me what you're doing here," The girl asked, "You seem like someone from out of town."

The creature rolled its eyes. "Of course you know who he is," he said.

Tao Lin scratched his head. "You wouldn't happen to be the sage would you?"

The girl nodded at him and pointed over towards the smoke.

….

Natalia and the Lieutenant had become friends during their brief time together.

The lieutenant only saw her once but knew they'd get along. She threw Derek into the prison and told the Lieutenant to give him a seemingly impossible goal. The robot captain smiled.

"You're almost as bad as The Alchemist," he laughed, "I promise he'll be tired by the end of the day."

"Thank you, Lieutenant. I heard it might speed up his awakening."

The Lieutenant nodded. "We've indeed been looking for a research subject, and your son very well might awaken faster. I promise he won't come out until he's ready."

Yeoh and Arden scratched their heads, and almost in unison, they said, "Mom, please take it easy on him. He's not like Tao!"

Natalia laughed and pointed over towards her son. He was just beginning his first training session in the globe.

The globe was an object that turned and constantly challenged your speed! If you didn't go fast enough, you'd end up spinning. It was practically a veritable hamster wheel for humans! Natalia, however, didn't seem satisfied.

"Well, you see Arden and Yeoh. That boy in there has potential to be stronger than any of us. Just wait until he's done in there."

Yeoh and Arden both sighed and stared into the window. They truly felt sorry for him.
