It was the day when Lu Fei and his parents had an accident. They were going somewhere in their car when they had an accident.
A truck had smashed into them. It was later revealed that the truck driver was drunk.
Both of his parents have died as a result. Lu Fei was lucky to survive but he was sent into a coma due to taking a head injury.
The most fortunate thing in the accident was that his sister was not with them. She was on a school trip and has avoided the accident.
That was the most important thing for Lu Fei. It was his sister's safety.
Although his sister has avoided the accident, Lu Fei was not lucky enough to avoid it.
He was in the coma for a month but in reality, he has transmigrated into a parallel fantasy world.
He has lived in that fantasy world for 10 years or it can even be said that he has lived on a battlefield for 10 years.

After that, he fought countless wars as a mercenary but there was a major difference between his previous battles and his current battles.
Previously, Lu Fei was afraid of death. He fought to survive before but after seeing all his comrades' death, Lu Fei fought to die.
That was the fundamental difference between his battles. Lu Fei was looking for a battlefield to die and he finally found it after many battles.
Lu Fei has died fighting the soldiers of the most powerful empire in the whole continent.
It was a tough battle but Lu Fei has managed to kill countless enemies before finally dying at the hands of the top knight of the empire.
Lu Fei was not angry or sad about his death. He was instead happy about it. He thought that he would finally be able to forget the dying faces of his comrades after experiencing death himself.
But he was wrong.
After dying, Lu Fei has found himself back to earth. He has managed to escape from the fantasy world but the memories of his comrades' death had never left him.
"Help…"
Cold sweat filled his back as Lu Fei abruptly woke up from his sleep. He was panting and his chest was heaving like he had been running for the whole day.
'Ah, that nightmare again.'
Since the time he had seen the death of his comrades, Lu Fei continuously had one dream.
In the dream, his comrades will be asking for his help them, to save them but Lu Fei could not do anything. Every time, he saw his comrades dying in the dream.
It was a nightmare for him!
A nightmare he can't do anything about. Lu Fei swept up the sweat from his forehead as he stood up from his bed.
It was already morning and he had to quickly make breakfast for his sister. His sister will soon wake up, so Lu Fei had to hurry.
He quickly left his room and got changed. It was still Wednesday today, so he still had to experience the so-called prison which was 'school'.
Lu Fei has been skipping school for two days already. It would be bad for him if he skipped today too.
"Let's make pancakes today."
His sister really liked pancakes. That's why he decided to make some pancakes for his sister.
Making pancakes was not tough, especially for Lu Fei who was cooking since he was 10 years old.
He had an interest in cooking, that's why after requesting his mother to teach him, Lu Fei was able to learn some of her recipes. His interest in cooking has also helped him quite a lot in the fantasy world.
Lu Fei quickly took the bowl out and poured the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in it. After making a well in the middle, he poured the milk, egg and melted butter.
He smoothed it and heated it over a frying pan. The temperature of the frying pan was the key to making pancakes.
It can't be overcooked or undercooked. The temperature should be in the middle. Soon, a fragrant aroma started filling the whole house.
It was the aroma of a freshly cooked pancake.
Smelling the fragrant aroma, someone dragged herself to the kitchen. It was Lu Fei's sister, Lu Xiaomei.
"Brother, you are making pancakes today?"
"Yes. Go freshen up before eating them."
Lu Fei said as he turned to see his sister standing on the doorway to the kitchen. She was in her pajamas and her hair was messy.
"Can't I eat them now?"
"No, you can't. Go brush up your teeth."
"It's not fair. Nothing will happen if I eat before brushing up my teeth for once."
"Do you want me to send pictures of you with messy hair to your friends?"
Lu Xiaomei reluctantly went on to freshen up when she heard that threat. No matter what, she can't seem to go against her brother.
After brushing her teeth and changing her clothes, Lu Xiaomei was finally able to eat the delicious pancakes.
"As usual, my brother is the best cook."
"Eat quickly or you will be late for school."
"Yes, yes."
That was their usual conversation on the dining table. Although Lu Fei had spent 10 years in a fantasy world, he has not forgotten his sister.
He can never forget his sister and his dead parents.
After returning to earth, Lu Fei was greeted by the sight of his broken sister. The death of his parents was a shock to him but his sister has received a bigger shock than him.
She was on a school trip when she was informed that her parents had died and her brother was in a coma.
It was extremely hard for a middle school girl to cope with such news alone.
They didn't have many relatives, to begin with, and the remaining relatives have also not helped them after hearing about his parent's death.
For a whole month, his sister had never left the side of Lu Fei. She kept praying that he would wake up from his sleep someday and everything will go back like before.
When Lu Fei had woke up, his sister had tightly hugged him and cried. He still remembered his sister's crying face in the hospital that day.
"I'm going."
His sister soon left after finishing the pancakes. She was a third-year middle school student now. She was studying hard to get into a good high school.
'Let's head to school too.'
Lu Fei also locked the house and went towards his high school. On the way to high school, he was thinking about the jobs he has today.
"After school, I have a shift in the Forest cafe and then, I have a night shift at the convenience store."

The Forest cafe was owned by his mother's friend. She was the same middle-aged lady Lu Fei had talked to yesterday.
Her name was Zhao Na. She didn't like being called an aunty, so Lu Fei called her Sister Na. She was someone who has helped him a lot when he needed a job.
Lu Fei was really grateful to her.

Lu Fei reached his classroom and the whole class went silent when they saw him entering. It was because Lu Fei was the infamous troublemaker in the school.
"It's strange that he's here today."
"I thought he would skip throughout the week."

Various murmurs rang throughout the classroom but Lu Fei ignored them despite hearing them. Most of the things about him were just rumors and he can't bother himself with them.
His grades were bad and he skipped school every other day. Moreover, he usually slept throughout the class, leaving the teachers in frustration.
This type of behavior has landed him the title of 'Troublemaker' by everyone.
Of course, Lu Fei just ignored these types of things. For him, the school was just like a prison. He wanted to quickly graduate from this prison, so he can take more part-time jobs.
He took his seat while wishing that the school will finish soon but as soon as he sat on his seat, the door to the classroom again opened.
A female teacher entered the classroom with knitted eyebrows. She scanned through the whole classroom and fixed her gaze at Lu Fei.
"Lu Fei, come to my office, right now."
The female teacher shouted.
"Me?"
"Is there any other Lu Fei in the class?"
She left after that and Lu Fei was left dumbfounded by the sudden call.
